1 Peter 5
1 Christ thuakna te i tetti le hong kilang tu minthanna zong a neipui keima zong upa ka hi hu in note sung ah upa te kong hanthawn hi:
The elders that are among you I exhort, who am also an elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker of the glory which shall be revealed; feed the flock of God that is among you,
2 Note sung ah a om Pathian tuuhon te vak vun a, a kul hamtang hang hi ngawl in deisakna taw ahizong; a thiangtho ngawl duhopna hang hi ngawl in, thinsung ki ngingkhol in en tavun;
taking the episcopal charge of it, not by constraint, but willingly; not for shameful lucre, but with a ready mind:
3 Pathian i neisa tung ah to te bang in uk heak vun, ahihang tuuhon te ettetak in om zaw vun.
nor as lording it over the people, but being examples to the flock.
4 Taciang tuucing lianbel hong kilang ciang in, a vul thei ngawl minthanna kham lukhu na sang tu uh hi.
And when the sovereign Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive an unfading crown of glory.
5 Tabangma in, no khangno te in khangham te thu ni vun. Na vekpi in khat le khat thu ki ni tavun, taciang ki niamkhiakna sil vun: banghangziam cile Pathian in a ki phasak te nalh a, a ki niamkhiak te thuthiamna pia hi.
Likewise ye younger, be subject to the elder; and all of you behaving with due submission one to another, be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, but sheweth favor to the humble.
6 Tua ahikom Pathian i a thahat khut nuai ah noma le noma ki niamkhiak vun a, a hun a cin ciang in Ama in hong lamsang tu hi:
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time;

casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you.
8 Pilvang vun, kidawm in ngak vun; banghangziam cile na ngalpa uh doaimangpa sia a hawk vabam tawpi bang in akua lopval tu khi ziam, ci zong in vak hi:
Be sober, be vigilant; for your adversary the devil, like a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Leitung ngam tatuam ah na suapui uh te zong tabangma haksatna thuak hi, ci sia phawk in upna sung ah kip in doaimangpa nalh tavun.
whom resist, stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are endured by your brethren in the world.
10 Christ Jesus tungtawn in eite tawntung minthanna sung ah hongsam, thuthiamna theampo i Pathian in tawmvei haksatna na thuak zawk uh ciang in, hong cialcingsak in hong khosak tu a, tha hong hatsak in hong kipsak tu hi. (aiōnios g166)
But may the God of all grace, who hath called us to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after ye have suffered a little while, make you perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. (aiōnios g166)
To Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)

Thus I have written briefly by Silvanus, a faithful brother to you (as I judge) exhorting and testifying, that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.

The church in Babylon, chosen together with you saluteth you, and so doth Marcus my son.
14 Itna i kinapna taw khat le khat ki nukset tavun. Christ Jesus sung ah a om note theampo tung ah thinnopna hong om tahen. Amen.
