< 1 Corinth 3 >
1 Ka suapui te awng, thaa mite tung ka pau bang in note tung ah hong pau thei ngawl ka hi hang, cilesa mite tung ka pau bang ahizong, Christ sung ah nausen te bang in kong pau hi.
As for me, brothers, I could not talk to you as spiritual men, but as to creatures of flesh, mere babes in Christ.
2 An taw hi ngawl in, noai taw kong vak hi, banghangziam cile note in an na ne zo balai uh hi, tu zong in na ne zo balai uh hi.
I fed you milk, not meat; for you were unable to bear it.
3 Banghangziam cile note sia cilesa mi na hi lai uh hi: banghangziam cile note sung ah ki hazatna, ki el na le kikhenna te om hi, note sia cilesa le mihing ngeina taw a nungta te hi ngawl nu ziam?
You are not able even now, for you are still unspiritual. While there is among you jealousy and strife, are you not still unspiritual, and behaving like worldlings?
4 Banghangziam cile khat in, kei sia Paul i pawl ka hihi; a dang khat in, kei sia Apollos i pawl ka hihi, ci uh hi; cilesa mi hi ngawl nu ziam?
When one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere worldlings?
5 Tabang hile Paul sia akua ziam, taciang Apollos sia akua ziam, ahihang Topa in mihing khatsim a piak bang in note upna sung ah hong then naseam te hi ngawl ziam?
What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Just ministers through whom you have believed, and each doing the work that the Lord gave him.
6 Keima in ka suan a, Apollos in tuibuak hi; ahihang Pathian in khangsak hi.
I planted, Apollos watered, but God made the seed grow.
7 Tua ahikom a suan te le tuibuak te in khangsak thei ngawl hi; ahihang Pathian in khangsak hi.
So neither is he who planted anything, nor he who watered, but God alone, who is making the seed grow.
8 Tu in a suan te le tuibuak te sia pumkhat a hihi: taciang mi khatsim in ama nasep bang in thaman sang kik tuh hi.
Now, though he who plants and he who waters are one, each will receive his own reward, according to his own service.
9 Kote sia Pathian taw naseam khawm te ka hi uh hi: note sia Pathian i lo na hi uh hi, Pathian i inn zong na hi uh hi.
For we are God’s fellow workers; and you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
10 Keima tung ah hongpiak Pathian hesuakna bang in, mipil innsa pa bang in keima in phungkawng ka ciang hi, taciang a dang khat in tua tung ah sa hi. Ahihang mihing khatsim in tua tung ah bangbang in sa, ci sia kidawm tahen.
According to the grace of God vouchsafed me, like a skillful master- builder, I have laid a foundation; but another will be building upon it. Let each take heed how he builds on it.
11 Banghangziam cile a kiciangsa phungkawng ahi Jesus Christ simngawl, kuama in a dang ciang thei ngawl hi.
The foundation is already laid - Jesus Christ - and no man can lay another.
12 Tu in mi khatpo in hi phungkawng tung ah kham, ngun, suang manpha te, thing, lopa, tangphaw taw a sa uh le;
On that foundation, if a man proceeds to build gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble, each man’s work will be made manifest.
13 Mihing khatsim i nasepna sia hong kilang tu hi: banghangziam cile tua ni ciang in ki pualak tu hi, tasia sia mei taw kilangsak tu hi; taciang mi khatsim i nasepna sia bangbang ziam, ci sia mei taw ki sittel tu hi.
The Day will disclose it, for it dawns in fire, and the fire will test each man’s work, of what quality it is.
14 Tua phungkawng tung ah a kisa, mi khatpo i nasep na a kangtum bale, thaman nga tu hi.
If any man’s work - the building he has made - stands the test, he will be rewarded.
15 Mi khatpo i nasep nate a kangtum le, ama sia sum tu hi: ahihang amasia mei sung pan a suatak bang in, ngupna nga tu hi.
If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, as it were through the flames.
16 Note sia Pathian biakinn na hi uh a, na sung uh ah Pathian Thaa om hi, ci he ngawl nu ziam?
Do you not know what you are God’s sanctuary, and that the Spirit of God is dwelling within you?
17 Mihing khatpo in Pathian biakinn a ninsak le, Pathian in ama siatsua tu hi; banghangziam cile Pathian biakinn sia thiangtho a, note sia tua biakinn na hi uh hi.
If any one tear down God’s sanctuary, God will tear him down; for the sanctuary of God is holy, and that is what you are.
18 Kuama peuma ama le ama kitheam heak hen. Note sung ah khatpo in ama le ama mipil bang in a ki ngaisun tha le, mipil a sua thei natu in mi mawmaw suak masa tahen. (aiōn )
Let no one deceive himself. If any one of you supposes that he is wise in the philosophy of the present age, let him become foolish, so that he may be wise. (aiōn )
19 Banghangziam cile hi leitung pilna sia Pathian mai ah mawmawtna hi. Banghangziam cile, Pathian in mipil te sia amate tatsiatna in man hi, ci in ki at hi.
For the philosophy of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. It is written, He snares the wise in their own craftiness,
20 Taciang mipil te ngaisutna te mannung ngawl hi, ci sia Topa in he hi, ci thua hi.
and again, The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, how futile they are.
21 Tua ahikom kuama in mihing hi na ah ki suangtak heak hen. Banghangziam cile na theampo sia noma neisa a hihi;
So let no one make boast in men. For all things are yours;
22 Paul ahizong, Apollos ahizong, Peter ahizong, leitung ahizong, nuntakna le thina ahizong, tu hun nate le mailam thu te ahizong; a vekpi in noma neisa a hihi;
Paul, Apollos, Cephas, the world, life, death, things present or things to come; all things are yours;
23 Taciang note sia Christ i neisa na hi uh hi; taciang Christ sia Pathian i neisa a hihi.
and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
