< Rom 12 >
1 Cedawngawh, koeinaa khqi, Khawsa qeennaak awh, ak hqing bulnaak, ak ciimcaih ingkaw Khawsa a ym kawi na nami pum ce pek aham ni thoeh khqi nyng; ve ve nami bawknaak awh ak awm hly qoe ni.
I plead with you therefore, brethren, by the compassionsof God, to present all your faculties to Him as a living and holy sacrifice acceptable to Him. This with you will be an act of reasonable worship.
2 Ve khawmdek phung amyihna koeh awm unawh; Khawsa a ngaih kawi, ak leek, ym kawi ingkaw leeknaak ak soep ce ak ceetna zaaksimnaak nami taaknaak ham, namik kawlung ak thaina awmnaak ing chawt qu lah uh. (aiōn )
And do not follow the customs of the present age, but be transformed by the entire renewal of your minds, so that you may learn by experience what God's will is--that will which is good and beautiful and perfect. (aiōn )
3 Kai a venawh a ni peek am qeennaak ak caming nangmih boeih a venawh kanik kqawn peek khqi: Na mimah ingkaw na mimah ce ak sang soeih na koeh ngai qu uh, Khawsa ing a ni peek cangnaak ing a ting a tawk na na mimah ingkaw na mimah ce ngai qu uh.
For through the authority graciously given to me I warn every individual among you not to value himself unduly, but to cultivate sobriety of judgement in accordance with the amount of faith which God has allotted to each one.
4 Ningmih ing ni pum awh a baai khawzah ni ta uhy, cehlai a mi bibinaak ce am myih boeih hy,
For just as there are in the one human body many parts, and these parts have not all the same function;
5 cemyih lawtna ningnih awm Khrih awh a baai khawzah na ak awm pum pynoet na ni awm uhy, a baaikhqi boeih ce pynoet ingkaw pynoet a koena awm qu qip boeih hy.
so collectively we form one body in Christ, while individually we are linked to one another as its members.
6 Qeennaak a peeknaak amyihna kutdo ak chang chang ni ta unawh, awikqawnkungna ak awm ing cangnaak a taak khoek amyihna kqawn seh;
But since we have special gifts which differ in accordance with the diversified work graciously entrusted to us, if it is prophecy, let the prophet speak in exact proportion to his faith;
7 bibikung ing thahly doena bi bi seh, cawngpyikung ing ypawmna cawngpyi seh,
if it is the gift of administration, let the administrator exercise a sound judgement in his duties.
8 ak sawikung ing ypawmna sawi seh; them ak pekung ing a hai kaana pe seh, awitlykkung ing ak leekna awitlyk seh, thlang ak qeenkung ing zeel doena qeen seh nyng.
The teacher must do the same in his teaching; and he who exhorts others, in his exhortation. He who gives should be liberal; he who is in authority should be energetic and alert; and he who succours the afflicted should do it cheerfully.
9 Lungnaak taw kawlung tang tang ing a awm aham awm hy. Seetnaak ce sawhna unawh, leeknaak ce ak cakna tu uh.
Let your love be perfectly sincere. Regard with horror what is evil; cling to what is right.
10 Pynoet ingkaw pynoet cingnahqui lungnaak ing lung qu na uh.
As for brotherly love, be affectionate to one another; in matters of worldly honour, yield to one another.
11 Thaseetnaak qoe qoe koeh ta law uh, tha lo law unawh, Bawipa bi ce bi law uh.
Do not be indolent when zeal is required. Be thoroughly warm-hearted, the Lord's own servants,
12 Ngaih-unaak awh ce zeel uh, kyinaak nami huh awh kawdungnaak ing yh law unawh, cykcahnaak awh cak lah uh.
full of joyful hope, patient under persecution, earnest and persistent in prayer.
13 Thlakciimkhqi a voetnaak dawm unawh, khinkhqi ce ak nep na toek law uh.
Relieve the necessities of God's people; always practise hospitality.
14 Nangmih anik thekhanaak thlangkhqi ce zoseennaak pe law uh; zoseennaak pe unawh awih che ing koeh zyi uh.
Invoke blessings on your persecutors--blessings, not curses.
15 Ak zeelkhqi ce zeel pyi unawh; kaw ak sekhqi ce kawseet pyi uh.
Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.
16 Pynoet ingkaw pynoet qoep ang qui cana awm uh. Koeh oek qu uh, thlang ak kaina ak awmkhqi mi pyi qu uh. Namah ingkaw namah koeh zoeksang qu.
Have full sympathy with one another. Do not give your mind to high things, but let humble ways content you. Do not be wise in your own conceits.
17 Thawlhnaak ce thawlhnaak ing koeh thung uh. Thlang boeih amik huh awh ak thym ce ngaihtaaknaak ing sai law uh.
Pay back to no man evil for evil. Take thought for what is right and seemly in every one's esteem.
18 Ang coeng thai awhtaw nangmih ben awhkawng ang coengnaak thai khuina thlang mi qoep ang qui cana awm law uh.
If you can, so far as it depends on you, live at peace with all the world.
19 Ka pyikhqi, nami phu koeh sui law uh; Khawsa ak kawsonaak ce ken law uh, “Kut thungnaak taw kai a koe ni, kai ing thung kawng nyng,” tinawh Bawipa ing tihy.
Do not be revengeful, my dear friends, but give way before anger; for it is written, "'Revenge belongs to Me: I will pay back,' says the Lord."
20 Ce anglakawh: Na qaal ce ak phoen a cawih awhtaw, buh pe; Tui a ngaih awhtaw, awk kawi ce pe. Vemyihna na sai awhtaw a lu awh maieh na tloeng peek ing myih kaw.”
On the contrary, therefore, if your enemy is hungry, give him food; if he is thirsty, quench his thirst. For by doing this you will be heaping burning coals upon his head.
21 Seetnaak ing koeh ni noeng seitaw, leeknaak ing seetnaak ce noeng lah.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome the evil with goodness.
