< Awiphawng 5 >
1 Cekcoengawh boei ngawih doelh awh ak ngawi thlang ak tang kut awh hatnaak khqih ak awm hu hai na a qee cazawl ce hu nyng.
And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne, a book written within and without, sealed with seven seals.
2 Cawh tha ak awm thlang khan ceityih pynoet ing awi khawteh na, “Vawhkaw hatnaak ve hqe nawh cazawl ve u ing a hlam thai kaw?” tinawh khy hy.
And I saw a strong angel, proclaiming with a loud voice: Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
3 Cawh khan ingkaw dek awh, dek ak kai nakaw cazawl hlam nawh ak khui dy ak toek hly u a ca pynoet awm am awm hy.
And no man was able, neither in heaven, nor on earth, nor under the earth, to open the book, nor to look on it.
4 Cazawl hlam nawh ak khui ben ak toek hly kawi thlang pynoet awm ama awm a dawngawh kqang khing nyng.
And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open the book, nor to see it.
5 Cawh a hqamca pynoet ing ka venawh, “Koeh kqang! Toek lah, Juda pa ak khuiawh kaw samthyyn, David Zung ing noeng hawh hy. Anih ing cazawl ingkaw hatnaak khqih ce awng thai hy,” tina hy.
And one of the ancients said to me: Weep not; behold the lion of the tribe of Juda, the root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6 Cekcoengawh him ce a myihna ak awm tuuca pynoet, boei ngawihdoelh ang lung awh dyi nawh, ak hqing ik-oeih sai pupthli ingkaw mik khqih tahy, cekkhqi cetaw khawmdek awh a tyih Khawsang myihla khqih na awm hy.
And I saw: and behold in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the ancients, a Lamb standing as it were slain, having seven horns and seven eyes: which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.
7 Anih ing boei ngawihdoelh awh ak ngawi thlang ak tang kut awhkaw cazawl ce lo hy.
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat on the throne.
8 A lawh coengawh, ik-oeih sai ak hqing pupthli tloek ingkaw a hqamca a thong pupthli tloek ce Tuuca haiawh tlu unawh beek uhy. Cekkhqi ing tingtoeng ta qip unawh thlakciimkhqi a cykcahnaak bawktui ing ak be boet ce ta qip bai uhy.
And when he had opened the book, the four living creatures, and the four and twenty ancients fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints:
9 Cekkhqi ing lak thai ce sa uhy: Nang taw cazawl ingkaw hatnaak ce ak hlam aham kawih na qoe hyk ti, kawtih him na awm hawh tiksaw, na thi ing rampum ingkaw phynlum khui awhkaw thlangkhqi ce Khawsa hamna thlai hawh hyk ti.
And they sung a new canticle, saying: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; because thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God, in thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.
10 Cemih thlangkhqi ce ram ingkaw ningnih a Khawsa a bibi aham khawsoeihkhqi na sai hawh hyk ti, ce mihkhqi ce khawmdek awh boei poe kawm uh,” tinawh sa uhy.
And hast made us to our God a kingdom and priests, and we shall reign on the earth.
11 Ka toek awh khan ceityih khawzah thlang a thong thong ingkaw a sang sang ak awi ce za nyng. Cekkhqi ing ik-oeih sai ak hqing ingkaw a hqamcakhqi ing boei ngawihdoelh ce chung uhy.
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne, and the living creatures, and the ancients; and the number of them was thousands of thousands,
12 Awi khawteh na: Him ce na ak awm Tuuca ing, thaawmnaak boeimangnaak ingkaw kqihchahnaak zoeksang naak ingkaw kyihcahnaak ce huh aham tyng qoe hy!” tinawh laa sa uhy.
Saying with a loud voice: The Lamb that was slain is worthy to receive power, and divinity, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and benediction.
13 Cekcoengawh khan ingkaw dek, tuicun ingkaw ak khuiawh ak awm ik-oeih sai boeih ing laa sa uhy: “Boei ngawihdoelh awh ak ngawi ingkaw Tuuca a venawh, kyihcahnaak, kqihchah naak, zoeksang naak ingkaw thaawmnaak kumqui dyna awm seh!” tinawh. (aiōn )
And every creature, which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them: I heard all saying: To him that sitteth on the throne, and to the Lamb, benediction, and honour, and glory, and power, for ever and ever. (aiōn )
14 Ik-oeih sai ak hqing pupthli tloek ing, “Amen,” ti unawh a hqamcakhqi ing tluk doena bawk uhy.
And the four living creatures said: Amen. And the four and twenty ancients fell down on their faces, and adored him that liveth for ever and ever.
