Awiphawng 10

1 Cekcoengawh khan nakawng a nuk kqum law tha ak awm soeih khan ceityih ak chang pynoet ce hu nyng. Myi ce hi na bai nawh, a lu sawawh thlimha ce awm hy; a haai taw khawmik amyihna awm nawh a khaw qawi taw maihtung amyihna awm hy.

And I saw another mighty angel, that descended from heaven, clothed with a cloud; and a cloud-bow was over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.

2 A kut awh cazawl tehca ce pawm nawh a kut awh phaih hy. Tang ben a khaw ing tuicun leh nawh cawng ben a khaw ing dek leh hy,

And he had in his hand an open little book: and he placed his right foot upon the sea, and his left upon the land:

3 samthyyn kawk awi amyihna khawteh na a nih ce khy hy. Ak khy awh, khawnghum khqih ing awi kqawn hy.

and he cried with a loud voice, as a lion roareth: and when he had cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.

4 Khawnghum khqih ing awi ak kqawn awh, ca qee aham cai nyng; cehlai khan benna kaw awi ing, “Khawnghum khqih ing awi ak kqawn ce koeh qee nawhtaw hatnaak ta lah,” ni tina hy.

And when the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to write. And I heard a voice from heaven, saying: Seal up the things which the seven thunders have uttered, and write them not.

5 Tui ingkaw dek awh ak dyi khan ceityih ing ak tang ben kut ce khan na hak thlek hy.

And the angel whom I saw standing upon the sea and the land, raised his right hand to heaven,

6 Kumqui dy ak hqing, khan ingkaw ak khuiawh ak awm ik-oeihkhqi boeih ak saikung, dek ingkaw ak khuiawh ak awm ik-oeihkhqi boeih ak saikung, ang ming ing awi sa hy, “Am yih voel kaw! (aiōn g165)

and swore, by him who liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that the time should be no longer; (aiōn g165)

7 Cehlai ak khqihnaak khan ceityih ing uut yng vang a ti awh, Khawsa a koe ang hyp ik-oeih ce amah a tyihzawih tawnghakhqi venawh ak kqawn peek oepchoeh amyihna soep hawh kaw,” tinawh kqawn hy.

but, in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall sound, and the mystery of God shall be consummated; as he announced to his servants the prophets.

8 Cekcoengawh khan benna kaw kang zaak awi ing awi ti law tlaih bai hy: “Cet nawhtaw, tuicun ingkaw dek awh ak dyi khan ceityih a kut awh a phaih cazawl ce lo lah,” ni tina hy.

And the voice which I heard from heaven, spoke to me again, and said: Go, take the little open book in the hand of the angel that standeth on the sea and on the land.

9 Cedawngawh cawhkaw khan ceityih a venna cet nyng saw cazawl ce thoeh nyng. Anih ing, “Lo nawhtaw ai lah. Nak phoen ak khuina thui hlai voei, nam kha awhtaw khawi amyihna awi kaw,” ni tina hy.

And I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he said to me, Take, and eat it: and it will make thy bowels bitter, but in thy mouth it will be sweet as honey.

10 Khan ceityih a kut awhkaw cazawl ce lo nyng saw ai nyng. Kam kha awh khawi amyihna awi hy, cehlai ka ai coeng awhtaw kak phoen khuina thui hy.

And I took the little book from the hand of the angel, and ate it: and it was in my mouth sweet like honey: and when I had eaten it, my bowels were bitter.

11 Cawh, Thlang khawzah, qamtawn, phynlum ingkaw sangpahrangkhqi venawh awi kqawn tlaih kawp ti,” ni tina hy.

And be said to me, Thou must again prophesy upon many nations, and peoples, and princes, and kings.
