< Johan 21 >

1 Jesu ing, Tiberia Tuili awh a hubatkhqi venawh dang pe tlaih bai hy. Cawh vemyihna awm hy.
Afterward, Jesus again appeared to the disciples, at the sea of Tiberias; and in this manner he appeared.
2 Simon Piter, (Didymas tinawh amik khy) Thomas, Kalili qam Kanan khaw awhkaw Nathanael, Zebedee a ca qawi hubat thlang pakkhih ce awm uhy.
Simon Peter and Thomas, that is, Didymus, Nathanael of Cana, in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples of Jesus, being together,
3 Simon Piter ing cekkhqi venawh, “Ngak tuna cet hly nyng,” tina khqi hy. Cekkhqi ing, “Kaimih awm law hly lawt unyng,” tina uhy. Cedawngawh cekkhqi awm cet unawh, lawng awh ngawi uhy, cehlai than oet khuiawh ikaw ca awm am tu uhy.
Simon Peter said, I am going a-fishing. They answered, We will go with you. Immediately they went, and got aboard a bark, but that night caught nothing.
4 Mymcang hqit awh Jesu taw tui keng awh dyi hy, cehlai a hubatkhqi ing Jesu na am sim uhy.
In the morning Jesus stood on the shore; the disciples, however, knew not that it was Jesus.
5 Anih ing, “Ka pyikhqi, nga amna mim tu nawh aw?” tinak khqi hy. Cekkhqi ing, “Am tu unyng,” tina uhy.
Jesus said to them, My children, have you any victuals? They answered, No.
6 Anih ing, “Lawng keeng tang benawh lawk ce khawng lah uh, nga tu bit kawm uk ti,” tinak khqi hy. Lawk ce amik khawng awhtaw, nga khawzah tu unawh, lawk ce naa tloei uhy.
Cast the net, cried he, on the right side of the bark, and you will find. They did so, but were not able to draw it, by reason of the multitude of fishes.
7 Cawh Jesu a lungnaak hubat ing, Piter a venawh, “Anih ve Bawipa ni,” tina hy. Anih ing, “Anih ve Bawipa ni,” a tice Simon Piter ing ang zaak awh, a hi ing ven qu nawh tui na cawn hy.
Then that disciple whom Jesus loved, said to Peter, It is the Master. Simon Peter, hearing that it was the Master, girt on his upper garment (which was laid aside) and threw himself into the sea.
8 Hubat ak chang khqi taw a hu awh lawng ing hqut uhy, lawk awh ak be nga ce kawngceng na dawk uhy, (kawngceng awhkawng dawng hakip tluk ni a hla hy.)
But the other disciples came in the boat, (for they were not farther from land than about two hundred cubits, ) dragging the net, with the fishes.
9 Kawngceng ami pha awhtaw, mai tih unawh nga ang sai qu ce hu uhy, phaihpi awm cawh awm hy.
When they came ashore, they saw a fire burning, and a fish laid on it, and bread.
10 Jesu ing a mingmih a venawh, “Nga namim tu ce avang haw law lah uh,” tinak khqi hy.
Jesus said to them, Bring of the fishes which you have now taken.
11 Simon Piter ce lawng awh kai nawh lawk ce kawngceng na dawk hy. Nga ak bau hqoeng zakhat sawmnga pathum law hy, nga ce zah law hlai hy lawk ce am se qoe hy.
Simon Peter went back, and drew the net to land, full of large fishes, a hundred and fifty-three; and the net was not rent, notwithstanding the number.
12 Jesu ing, “Law lah uh, mymcang buh ai hlah u sih,” tinak khqi hy. Bawipa ni tice ami sim a dawngawh, a hubat ak khuiawh kaw u ingawm, “Nang ve a u nu?” am tina qoe uhy.
Jesus said to them, Come and dine. Meantime none of the disciples ventured to ask him, Who are you? knowing that it was the Master.
13 Jesu ce law nawh, phaihpi ce lo nawh cekkhqi ce pehy, nga awm lo nawh pek khqi bai hy.
Jesus drew near, and taking bread and fish, distributed among them.
14 Ve ve thihnaak awhkawng a thawh coengawh a hubatkhqi venawh ang dangnaak thum voei naak na awm hy.
This is the third time that Jesus appeared to his disciples, after his resurrection.
15 Buh ami ai coengawh, Jesu ing Simon Piter a venawh, “Johan capa Simon, vekkhqi boeih anglakawh nanik lungnaak tang tang aw?” tina hy. Piter ing, “Oeih, Bawipa, ni lungna nyng tice nang ing sim hyk ti,” tina hy. Jesu ing, “Ka tuukhqi ce cawmcah khqi,” tina hy.
When they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me more than these? He answered, Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.
16 Jesu ing, “Johan a capa Simon, na nik lungnaak tang tang aw?” tina bai hy. Anih ing, “Oeih, Bawipa, ni lungna nyng tice sim hyk ti,” tina hy. Jesu ing, “Ka tuukhqi ce khoem a doen khqi,” tina hy.
A second time he said, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love m? He answered, Yes, Lord, you know that I love you. Jesus replied, Tend my sheep.
17 Am thumnaak awh, “Johan capa Simon, na nik lungnaak aw?” tina bai hy. Jesu ing Piter a venawh thum voei dy, “Nanik lungnaak aw?” a tinaak awh Piter taw ak kaw se nawh a venawh, “Bawipa nang ing ik-oeih boeih boeih sim tik saw, ka ni lungnaak awm sim hyk ti,” tina hy. Jesu ing, “Ka tuukhqi cawmcah khqi.
A third time he said, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me? Peter, grieved at his asking this question a third time, answered, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you. Jesus replied, Feed my sheep.
Most assuredly, I say to you, in your youth you girt yourself, and went whither you would; but in your old age, you shall stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you whither you would not.
19 Thihnaak ikawmyih ing nu Piter ing Khawsa a zoeksang kaw, tice sim sak ham Jesu ing ak kqawn ni. Cekcoengawh a venawh, “Ka hu awh bat lah,” tina hy.
This he spoke, signifying by what death he should glorify God. After these words, he said to him, Follow me.
20 Piter ing hawi qu nawh a toek awh, Jesu ing a lungnaak hubat thlang ing a mingmih a hu awh ang bat ce huhy. Vawhkaw thlang vetaw mybuh ami veel awh Jesu a venawh koep nawh, “Bawipa u ing nu nang ce thlang a kut awh ani zawih kaw?” tinawh ak doetkung ceni.
And Peter turning about, saw the disciple, whom Jesus loved, following, (the same who, leaning on his breast at the supper, had asked who it was, that would betray him.)
21 Piter ing anih ce a huh awh, “Bawipa anih ce ikawmyihna nu a awm kaw?” tinawh doet hy.
Peter seeing him, said to Jesus, And what, Lord, shall become of this man?
22 Jesu ing, “Kang voei law tlaih hlan dyy anih ve ak hqing na ta mai nyng seiawm ikawnu tina vang nati? Ka hu awh mah bat law,” tina hy.
Jesus answered, If I will that he wait my return, what is that to you? Follow me.
23 Ve a dawngawh, koeinaakhqi khuiawh, 'cawhkaw hubat ce am thi kaw,' tinawh poek uhy. Cehlai, “Kang voei law tlaih hlan dyy anih ve a hqing na ta mai nyng seiawm ikaw tina vang na tinawh nu?” a tinaak hlai ni.
Hence arose the rumor among the brethren, that that disciple should not die; nevertheless, Jesus said not, that he should not die; but, If I will, that he wait my return, what is that to you?
24 Cawhkaw hubat taw vawhkaw ik-oeihkhqi ak kqawnkung ingkaw ak qeekung veni. Vawhkaw simpyinaak ve thym hy tice sim uh.
It is this disciple, who attests these things, and wrote this account; and we know that his testimony deserves credit.
25 Jesu ing ak chang them khawzah sai hy. Cemyihkhqi ce qee boeih sih ni ti mai mantaw, khawmdek pum awh cawhkaw caukkhqi ce am khoek qoe qoe kaw, tinawh poek nyng.
There were many other things also performed by Jesus, which, were they to be severally related, I imagine, the world itself could not contain the volumes that would be written.
