< Johan 20 >
1 Khaw khqih nyn khui awhkaw khawnghi lamma cyk mymcang hqit awh, Meri Magdalene ce, khaw than hun saw phyi na cet hy, cawh phyi chawmkeng awhkaw lung ak thoeng qu ce hu hy.
The first day of the week comes Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, to the sepulcher, and sees the stone taken away from the sepulcher.
2 Cedawngawh Simon Piter ingkaw Jesu ing a lungnaak ak chang hubat thlang a venna dawng nawh, “Phyi khui awhkawng Bawipa ce hana nu ta valh hawh uhy, hana nu ami taak hy voei am sim nyng,” tina hy.
Then she runs, and comes to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and says to them, They have taken away the LORD out of the sepulcher, and we know not where they have laid him.
3 Cedawngawh Piter ingkaw ak chang hubat thlang ce phyi na cet hy nih.
Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulcher.
4 Dawng haih hy nih, cehlai ak chang hubat ing Piter ce dawng ta nawh phyi ce lamma na pha hy.
So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulcher.
5 Anih ce nung koep nawh phyi ce a toek awh hi doeng a awm ce hu hy, cehlai amah taw am nu lut hy.
And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.
6 Cawh a hu na a cehtaak Piter ce law nawh, phyi khuina ce nu lut hy,
Then comes Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulcher, and sees the linen clothes lie,
7 cekcoengawh Jesu a lu zennaak thlakthi hi awm hu bai hy. Cawhkaw hi ce amah doeng ak chang cana tum qu nawh awm hy.
And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
8 Phyi ak pha ma hubat ak chang ce awm a hu na taw phyi khuina nu lut lawt hy. Anih ing ce ce hu nawh cangna hy.
Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulcher, and he saw, and believed.
9 (Ca Ciim awhkawng thihnaak awhkawng Jesu a thawh tlaihnaak akawng ce am zasim hlan bak bak uhy.)
For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
10 Cekcoengawh a hubat qawi ce im na voei hy nih,
Then the disciples went away again to their own home.
11 cehlai Meri cetaw phyi a venawh dyi nawh kqang hy. Ang kqang doena koep nawh phyi ce toek hy.
But Mary stood without at the sepulcher weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulcher,
12 Ak baawk phung khan ceityih pakkhih ce Jesu a qawk ami soeinaak awh, pynoet ce a lu benawh pynoet ce a kaw benawh ngawi hy nih.
And sees two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13 Cek kqawi ing, “Nu kawtih nang kqang?” tina hy nih. Anih ing, “Hana nu ka Bawipa khyn valh hawh uhy, hana nu ami taak hy voei am sim nyng,” tina qawi hy.
And they say to her, Woman, why weep you? She says to them, Because they have taken away my LORD, and I know not where they have laid him.
14 Cawh, hu benna ang hawi awh ce, cawhkaw ak dyi Jesu ce hy hqoet hy, cehlai Jesu ni tina am hat hy.
And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
15 Anih ing, “Nu kawtih nang kqang? Unu na sui?” tina hy. Dum ak qeh thlang amyih ni tina poek nawh, a venna, “Nang ing na khyn awhtaw na taaknaak hun nik kqawn pe lah, law na vang nyng,” tina hy.
Jesus says to her, Woman, why weep you? whom seek you? She, supposing him to be the gardener, says to him, Sir, if you have borne him hence, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.
16 Cawh Jesu ing a venawh, “Meri,” tina hy. Anih ce hawi qu nawh Aqamaic awi na, “Rabboni,” (“Cawngpyikung,” tinak ni) tina hy.
Jesus says to her, Mary. She turned herself, and says to him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
17 Jesu ing, “Pa a venna kang voei hlan a dawngawh, kai ve koeh nim tu voel moe. Ka koeinaakhqi venna mah cet nawhtaw, ‘Ka Pa ingkaw nangmih a Pa, ka Khawsa ingkaw nangmih a Khawsa venna voei hly tlaih hawh nyng, tihy,’ tinawh kqawn law pek khqi,” tina hy.
Jesus says to her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brothers, and say to them, I ascend to my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Meri Magdalene ing a hubatkhqi venna cet nawh ve ak awithang ce kqawn pek khqi hy: “Bawipa taw hu hawh nyng!” tinak khqi hy. Vawhkaw ik-oeihkhqi ve anih ing a venawh kqawn pehy tice cekkhqi venawh kqawn pehy.
Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the LORD, and that he had spoken these things to her.
19 Ce a khawnghi, khqih nyn khui awhkaw lamma cyk khawnghi khawmy benawh, hubatkhqi ce pynoet na cun unawh awm uhy, Judakhqi amik kqih a dawngawh chawh kalh khoep uhy, cawh Jesu ce law nawh cekkhqi anglak lung awh dyih pek khqi hy, “Nami venawh ngaihdingnaak awm seh!” tinak khqi hy.
Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the middle, and says to them, Peace be to you.
20 Ve ak awi ak kqawn coengawh, a kut ingkaw a veei ce huh khqi hy. Bawipa ce ami huh awh zeel uhy.
And when he had so said, he showed to them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the LORD.
21 Jesu ing, “Nami venawh ngaihdingnaak awm seh! Boei ing kai ani tyih amyihna, kai ing nangmih ce ni tyi khqi nyng,” tinak khqi hy.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be to you: as my Father has sent me, even so send I you.
22 Ce ak awi ak kqawn coengawh ang hqi chan nawh ami venawh, “Ciim Myihla hu lah uh.
And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and says to them, Receive you the Holy Ghost:
23 U a thawlhnaak awm namim qeen boeih taw qeenna awm kawm saw, u a thawlhnaak awm am namim qeen cetaw qeenna am awm kaw,” tinak khqi hy.
Whose soever sins you remit, they are remitted to them; and whose soever sins you retain, they are retained.
24 Thlanghqa hlaihih ak khui awhkaw thlang pynoet, (Didymas ami ti) Thomas ce, Jesu a law awh hubatkhqi anglakawh am awm hy.
But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
25 Cedawngawh hubat ak changkhqi ing, “Bawipa hu unyng,” tina uhy. Cehlai cekkhqi venawh, “A kut awhkaw thicung ngaw ingkaw thicung ing ami hennaak a ngaw ce ka kut ing am kak pui nawh a vei ce ka kut ing am ka zam awhtaw ap cangna kawng nyng,” tinak khqi hy.
The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the LORD. But he said to them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26 Khaw khqih nyn a awm coengawh, hubatkhqi taw ipkhui awh cun tlaih bai uhy, cawhtaw Thomas awm awm lawt hy. Chawh ce kalh hlai uhy, Jesu ce law nawh, cekkhqi anglak lung awh dyih pek khqi hy, “Nami venawh ngaihdingnaak awm seh,” tinak khqi hy,
And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the middle, and said, Peace be to you.
27 Cekcoengawh Thomas a venawh, “Na kut ing zam nawh, ka kut qawi ve toek lah. Na kut lo nawhtaw ka veei ve zam lah. Koeh upvoet voel nawhtaw cangna hlah,” tina hy.
Then says he to Thomas, Reach here your finger, and behold my hands; and reach here your hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 Thomas ing, “Ka Bawipa ingkaw ka Khawsa na awm hyk ti!” tina hy.
And Thomas answered and said to him, My LORD and my God.
29 Cawh Jesu ing, “Nang ing nani huh deng awh nik cangna hyk ti, a huh kaana ak cangnaak thlangkhqi taw ami zoseen hy,” tina hy.
Jesus says to him, Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
30 Jesu ing a hubatkhqi mik huh awh a sai peek, ve cauk khuiawh qee na amak awm ak chang kawpoek kyi ik-oeih khawzah awm hun hy.
And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31 Cehlai nangmih ing Jesu taw Khrih, Khawsa Capa ni, tice cangna unawh ang ming awh hqingnaak ce nami taaknaak thai aham ve ak ca ve qee na awm hy.
But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through his name.
