1 Awikamnaak lamma awhkaw Khawsa bawknaak ing a lawng a lam ingkaw khawmdek hun ciim tahy.
The former indeed had also justifications of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
2 Hi im ce ana sa uhy. Ipkhui lamma cyknaak awh mai vangnaak, caboei ingkaw phaihpi ce awm hy; ve ve Hun Ciim tinawh khy uhy.
For there was a tabernacle made the first, wherein were the candlesticks, and the table, and the setting forth of loaves, which is called the holy.
3 A pakkhihnaak hi zaannaak ak kep awh Hun Ciim Khyt ce awm hy,
And after the second veil, the tabernacle, which is called the holy of holies:
4 cedawngawh ce bawktui dawinaak sui bawkthang ingkaw awikam sainaak sui ing a khym bawm ce awm hy.
Having a golden censer, and the ark of the testament covered about on every part with gold, in which was a golden pot that had manna, and the rod of Aaron, that had blossomed, and the tables of the testament.
5 Cawhkaw a bawm asaw awh Boeimangnaak cherubim ing hulnaak dahnaak bawm ce asaw nakaw ing dah hy. Cehlai ve a ik-oeihkhqi ve tuh ak soep na am nik kqawn hly thai hy.
And over it were the cherubims of glory overshadowing the propitiatory: of which it is not needful to speak now particularly.
6 Vemyihna ik-oeihkhqi boeih qoekbah na a awm coengawh, khawsoeihkhqi ing a mimah a bibi aham kawt ak khuiawh kun poepa uhy.
Now these things being thus ordered, into the first tabernacle the priests indeed always entered, accomplishing the offices of sacrifices.
7 Khawsoih boeikhyt doeng ce kum oet awh hypoet doeng ca ipkhui na kun hy, cehlai amah a thawlhnaak ingkaw thlangkhqi ing a mami sim awh ami sai thawlhnaak awh lucik sai aham thisen kaana am kun hy.
But into the second, the high priest alone, once a year: not without blood, which he offereth for his own, and the people’s ignorance:
8 Hun Ciim Khyt ak khuina cehnaak lam ce lamma awhkaw hi im ang dyih khui awhtaw khaih na am awm hy tice ve a ik-oeih ingkaw Ciim Myihla ing dang sak hy.
The Holy Ghost signifying this, that the way into the holies was not yet made manifest, whilst the former tabernacle was yet standing.
9 Tuh awhkaw ik-oeih nyhtahnaak aham ce a ik-oeih ce awm hy, ik-oeih suum ingkaw lucik sainaakkhqi ing Khawsa ak bawk thlangkhqi ak kawlung am ciim sak hy tice dang sak hy.
Which is a parable of the time present: according to which gifts and sacrifices are offered, which can not, as to the conscience, make him perfect that serveth, only in meats and in drinks,
10 Ce mihkhqi taw awk ai ingkaw silhnaak ak chang changkhqi mai ni – ak thai sainaak a awm hlan khui awhtaw ak khan ben ik-oeih sainaak ce ana haw na uhy.
And divers washings, and justices of the flesh laid on them until the time of correction.
11 Vawh a oepchoeh na ak awm ik-oeih leekkhqi a khawsoeih boeikhyt na Khrih ce a law awh, thlanghqing kut ing ama sai, ik-oeih sai ak khuiawh amak paa, ak bau khqoet ingkaw ak soep khqoet hi im ak khuina ce cet hy.
But Christ, being come an high priest of the good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hand, that is, not of this creation:
12 Me ingkaw vaitaw a thi ing am kun hy; amah a thi ing Hun Ciim Khyt ce thlang boeih aham hypoet doeng kun nawh, kumqui hulnaak ce hu law hy. (aiōnios )
Neither by the blood of goats, or of calves, but by his own blood, entered once into the holies, having obtained eternal redemption. (aiōnios )
13 Me ingkaw vaitawm cai a thi ingkaw vaitaw ca a hlawi ce amak ciim thlangkhqi ak khan benawh ami ciimnaak aham ak khanawh theh sih khqi hy.
For if the blood of goats and of oxen, and the ashes of an heifer being sprinkled, sanctify such as are defiled, to the cleansing of the flesh:
14 Cemyihna a awm awhtaw coet amak kap nawh kumqui Myihla ak caming Khawsa venawh amah ingkaw amah ak suum qu Khrih a thi khqoet ingtaw ikawmyih dyna nu ningnih thihnaak na anik sawikung “ningnih ak kawlung simnaakkhqi ve ak hqing Khawsa bi ni binaak thai aham a ciim law sak khqoet kaw ce! (aiōnios )
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who by the Holy Ghost offered himself unspotted unto God, cleanse our conscience from dead works, to serve the living God? (aiōnios )
15 Vawh ve Khrih taw awikam thai a dyihthing na awm hy, ak khy thlangkhqi ing kumqui qo awikamnaak ce ami pangnaak thai aham ingkaw – lamma awhkaw awikamnaak ak kaiawh a mik thawlh ak thlangkhqi ce hul nawh loet sak aham anih taw thi hawh hy. (aiōnios )
And therefore he is the mediator of the new testament: that by means of his death, for the redemption of those transgressions, which were under the former testament, they that are called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (aiōnios )
16 Ngaihnaak ik-oeih awh, ce ngaihnaak ak saikung a thihnaak ce dang sak aham ngoe hy,
For where there is a testament, the death of the testator must of necessity come in.
17 Ikawtih ngaihnaak taw thlang pynoet oet a thih awh ni a cak hy; Ngaihnaak ak saikung a hqing khuiawh am cak hy.
For a testament is of force, after men are dead: otherwise it is as yet of no strength, whilst the testator liveth.
18 Cedawngawh mah maw lamma awhkaw awikamnaak ce awm thi ing caksak na a awm lawt mah hy.
Whereupon neither was the first indeed dedicated without blood.
19 Mosi ing thlangkhqi boeih a venawh anaa awi peek boeih ak kqawn peek awh, vaitaw ca a thi ce tui ing lo haih hy, tuu a myi ak thim ingkaw hyssop thing pang ce a lawh coengawh, cazawl ing thlangkhqi ce theh sih khqi boeih hy.
For when every commandment of the law had been read by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,
20 Vetaw awikam sainaak thi ni, vetaw nami khoem aham Khawsa ing nangmih awi ani peek khqi ni,” tina hy.
Saying: This is the blood of the testament, which God hath enjoined unto you.
21 Cemyih koep lawtna, hi im ingkaw khawning awhkaw ik-oeih hawnaakkhqi boeih awm thi ing theh sih hy.
The tabernacle also and all the vessels of the ministry, in like manner, he sprinkled with blood.
22 Anaa awipeek awi ing ik-oeih soepkep ang toek ce ciim sak aham a ngoe awh, thi a mang lawng awhtaw qeenkhaw ngainaak ce am awm hy.
And almost all things, according to the law, are cleansed with blood: and without shedding of blood there is no remission.
23 Cedawngawh, khan benna kaw ik-oeihkhqi buk tloep nawh ciim sak aham vawhkaw hyihphumnaak sai ve ngoe hy, cehlai khan benna kaw ik-oeihkhqi qoe taw vekkhqi anglakawh ak leek khqoet na awm hy.
It is necessary therefore that the patterns of heavenly things should be cleansed with these: but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 Ikawtih ak thym bawkthang ang myihlip thlanghqing ing kut ing a sai bawkthang ak khuiawh Khrih ce am kun hy; ningnih aham Khawsa haiawh dang aham amah qoe qoe ce khanna kun hy.
For Jesus is not entered into the holies made with hands, the patterns of the true: but into heaven itself, that he may appear now in the presence of God for us.
25 Khawsoih boeikhyt ing Hun Ciim Khyt awh kum qoek awh amah a thi ing am nawh thi khyn nawh a kun amyihna, amah ingkaw amah suum qu tlaih tlaih aham khan na am kun hy.
Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holies, every year with the blood of others:
26 Cemyihna a kun mantaw khawmdek a syn cyk awhkawng khuikha hu quiqah hawh kaw. Cehlai thawlhnaak ciim sak aham amah ingkaw amah ce lucik na a sai qunaak ak caming chan a boetnaak benawh thlang boeih aham ak khoek koeng na hypoet na dang law hawh hy. (aiōn )
For then he ought to have suffered often from the beginning of the world: but now once at the end of ages, he hath appeared for the destruction of sin, by the sacrifice of himself. (aiōn )
27 Thlanghqing ve hypoet thih aham awm nawh, cekcoengawh awi deng aham a awm amyihna,
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgment:
28 thlang khawzah a thawlhnaak ceh pyi aham Khrih awm hypoet lucik na sai qu hy; cekcoengawh a hih voeinaak na dang law bai kaw, thawlhnaak ak yh aham am voel nawh amah ak qeh thlangkhqi aham hulnaak khyn aham ni ang dang hly hawh.
So also Christ was offered once to exhaust the sins of many; the second time he shall appear without sin to them that expect him unto salvation.
