< Hebrai 1 >
1 Ak kqym awhtaw Khawsa ing ningnih a pakdamkhqi venawh tawnghakhqi hawnaak ing ak chang chang na awi khawzah pek khqi hy,
God, who, at sundry times and in divers manners, spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets, last of all,
2 cehlai tuh tloek a tym a boet lam na taw a Capa ak caming ningnih a venawh awi kqawn law hawh hy, anih ak caming khan ingkaw dek boeih ve ana sai nawh anih ik-oeih boeih boeih qo ak pangkung na tahy. (aiōn )
In these days hath spoken to us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the world. (aiōn )
3 Capa taw Khawsa boeimang a vangnaak na awm nawh amah coengnaak qoe qoe a dyihthing na awm hy, ak awi thaawmnaak ing ik-oeih boeih boeih ak awm sakkung na awm hy. Thawlh awh ciim saknaak ce a sai coengawh, boeimang kut tang benawh khawk khan na ngawi hawh hy.
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the figure of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, making purgation of sins, sitteth on the right hand of the majesty on high.
4 Cawh anih taw khan ceityihkhqing lak awh sang khqoet nawh ang ming awm a mingmih ang ming anglakawh sang khqoet hy.
Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath inherited a more excellent name than they.
5 Han awhkaw khan ceityih a venawh Khawsa ing, “Nang taw ka Capa na awm hyk ti; tuhngawi awh na Pa na awm hawh nyng,” a tinaak? Am awhtaw, “Kai taw anih a Pa na awm kawng nyng saw, anih ce ka Capa na awm kaw,” a ti?
For to which of the angels hath he said at any time, Thou art my Son, today have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 Cekcoengawh, khawmdek awh Khawsa ing amah a caming ce a haw law awh, “Khawsak khan ceityih boeih ing anih ce bawk seh,” tinawh kqawn hy.
And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith: And let all the angels of God adore him.
7 Khan ceityih akawng ak kqawn awh, Khan ceityihkhqi ce zilh na sai nawh, a tyihzawihkhqi ce maikqawng na sai hy,” tinawh kqawn hy.
And to the angels indeed he saith: He that maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 Cehlai a Capa awhtaw, Aw Khawsa, na ngawihdoelh ce kumqui na awm kawmsaw, dyngnaak ce na qam a sawnghqawl na awm kaw. (aiōn )
But to the Son: Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of justice is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
Thou hast loved justice, and hated iniquity: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10 Cekcoengawh vemyihna kqawn bai hy, Ak cyk ca awh, Aw Bawipa, khawmdek ang dyihnaak ce syn tiksaw khan ce nang a kut saikhqi na awm hy.
And: Thou in the beginning, O Lord, didst found the earth: and the works of thy hands are the heavens.
11 Vemyihkhqi boeih taw plawci hly hlai hy, nang taw cak poe kawp ti; vekkhqi taw hi amyihna se kawm uh.
They shall perish, but thou shalt continue: and they shall all grow old as a garment.
12 Cekkhqi ce hi amyihna nang ing zawl kawm tiksaw; angki amyihna cekkhqi taw hleng qu kaw. Cehlai nang taw ang qui na cak poe hyk ti, nang a kumkhqi taw a dytnaak am awm qoe kaw,”
And as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: but thou art the selfsame, and thy years shall not fail.
13 Han awhkaw khan ceityih a venawh Khawsa ing, “Na qaalkhqi ce na khawk kaina ka taak hlan dy kak tang benawh ngawi lah,” a ti naak?
But to which of the angels said he at any time: Sit on my right hand, until I make thy enemies thy footstool?
14 Khan ceityihkhqi boeih ve hulnaak ak hu thlangkhqi a bibi aham ni tyih na a awm ka ti koe noek?
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent to minister for them, who shall receive the inheritance of salvation?
