1 Nangmih taw, awi eeknaak ingkaw thawlhnaak awh thi hawh uhyk ti.
[Unto] you also—being dead by your offences and sins,
2 Ve khawmdek a phung na nami awm awh ce zilh ak ukkung boei, tuh awm awi amak ngaikhqi venawh bi ak bi myihla a phungna awm uhyk ti. (aiōn g165)
In which at one time ye walked, according to the age of the world, according to the prince of the authority of the air, of the spirit that now energiseth in the sons of disobedience, (aiōn g165)
3 Ak kqym awh ningnih boeih awm cekkhqing lakawh khaw ni sa lawt uhy. Thawlh a ngaih sainaak ingkaw thawlh ngaihnaak a huawh ce ning bat lawt uhy. Thlak changkhqi amyihna, ningnih awm kawsonaak ak zawkkhqi na ni awm uhy.
Among whom also, we all, had our behaviour, at one time, in the covetings of our flesh, doing the things desired by the flesh and the mind, and were children, by nature, of anger—even as the rest, —
4 Cehlai ningnih a ni lungnaak khqi soeih a dawngawh, qeennaak ing ak be, Khawsa ing,
But, God, being rich in mercy, by reason of the great love wherewith he loved us,
5 awi eeknaak awh ni thih huiawh awm Khrih ing ningnih ce ni hqing sak khqi haih tlaih hawh hy – qeennaak awh ni nangmih hulna ni awm uh.
Although we were dead by our offences, gave us life together with the Christ, —by favour, ye have been saved, —
6 Khawsa ing ningnih ve Khrih ing ni thawh sak khqi haih nawh, Khrih awh khan hun na amah ing ning ngawih sak khqi haih hy.
And raised us up together, and seated us together in the heavenlies, in Christ:
7 Ak law hly khuk a awm awh am qeennaak amni nyhtah thai noeng ce ang dang saknaak aham ingkaw Jesu Khrih awh ningnih ani lungnaak khqi ce ang dang saknaak ahamni. (aiōn g165)
That he might point out, in the oncoming ages, the surpassing riches of his favour in graciousness upon us, in Christ Jesus; (aiōn g165)
8 Caangnaak caming qeenaak awh thaawngna namik awm ni; namimah a bibi camawh am nawh, Khawsa a them pek ni;
For, by his favour, have ye been saved, through means of faith, and this [hath come to pass] —not from you, of God, the free-gift!
9 bibinaak ak caming amni, cemyih am kaa taw thlang ing cawng a cah qu kawm uh.
Not from works, lest anyone should boast.
10 Them leek sai ahamna Isu Khrih awh saina ni awm nawh amak a kut sai qoena nik awm ni; ce them leek sai ce ni khawsak hly qoena Khawsa ing a syn qoe ni.
His, in fact we are—his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus upon a footing of good works, which God prepared beforehand, that, therein, we might walk.
11 Cedawngawh, maana ningnih pumsa awh Gentel, pumsa awh kut ing sai “Chahhui qeet” ami tikhqi ingkaw “Chahhui amak qeet” ami tikhqi aw,
Wherefore, keep in remembrance—that, at one time, ye, the nations in flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by the so-called Circumcision in flesh, made by hand,
12 ce tloek awhce, Khrih kana, Israelkhqi a tui khaw ingqaw lak hla ing, khawmdek awh ve ngaih-uunaak amak ta ingkaw Khawsa kana awm ing, awikam awhkawng khinna nami awm ce sim poe kawm uk ti.
That ye were, in that season, separate from Christ, alienated from the citizenship of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and godless in the world;
13 Cehlai tuh awhtaw Jesu Khrih awh, nangmih maana ak hla soeihna namik awmkhqi ce Khrih a thi ing zoei sak awm uhyk ti.
But, just now, in Christ Jesus, ye, who at one time were afar off, were made nigh in the blood of the Christ;
14 Amah qoe qoe ce ningnih aham qoepnaak na awm hawh hy, anih ing pakkhih ce pynoet na sai nawh qaal anglak pheknaak vawng ak awm ce hqe hawh hy,
He, in fact, is our peace—who made both one, and, the enclosing middle-wall, took down,
15 a pumsa ing anaa ak awipeek sai aham ak awmkhqi boeih ce hqe hawh hy. Amah awh thlang pakkhih ak khuiawh kawng thlak thai pynoet sai aham cai hy, cemyihna qoepnaak ce sai hy.
The enmity, in his flesh—the law of commandments in decrees—bringing to nought, —that, the two, he might create in himself, into one man of new mould, making peace.
16 Vawhkaw pum pynoet awhkawng thinglam ak caming Khawsa ingkaw cekqawi anglak law awh tuqunaak ce sai hy, thinglam awh a thihnaak ak caming qaal qunaak ce boet sak hy.
And might fully reconcile them both, in one body, through means of the cross, —slaying the enmity thereby; —
17 Nangmih ak hla nakaw ak awmkhqi ingkaw ak zoe awh ak awmkhqi venna law nawh qoepnaak awi ce kqawn hy.
And, coming, he announced the glad-message—of peace, unto you, the far off, and peace, unto them that were nigh;
18 Cedawngawh amah ak caming ningnih boeih ing Pa a venawh Ciim Myihla pynoet ak caming tuqunaak ce ni ta uhy.
Because, through him, we have our introduction—we both—in one Spirit, unto the Father.
19 Cedawngawh, nangmih taw khawlawng thlang ingkaw thlang lang na am awm voel uhyk ti, Khawsa ak thlangkhqi ingkaw Khawsa ipkhui cakaw na awm hawh uhyk ti.
Hence, then—no longer, are ye strangers and sojourners, but ye are fellow-citizens of the saints, and members of the household of God, —
20 Ceityihkhqi ingkaw tawnghakhqi awh sak na awm u tiksaw, Khrih amah qoe qoe ce a kil awhkaw lungkhoeng na awm hy.
Having been built up on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, there being, for chief corner stone, Jesus Christ himself, —
21 Anih awh im ce tuqu boeih nawh Bawipa a bawkim na dyi hy.
In whom, an entire building, in process of being fitly joined together, is growing into a holy shrine in [the] Lord;
22 Nangmih awm amah awhce Myihla-awh, Khawsa awmnaak a ham sakna namik awm ni.
In whom, ye also, are being builded together, into a habitation of God in Spirit.
