< 2 Timote 4 >

1 Amah dang nawh a qam a pha awh, thlakthi ingkaw thlanghqing awi ak deng kawi, Khawsa ingkaw Jesu Khrih a haiawh, ve ak awi ve ni yn nyng:
I CHARGE thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Awi ve khypyi lah; a tym awh awm a tym am awh awm a oepchoeh na awm poepa lah: tlaih lah, toel nawhtaw tha pe lah – kawdungnaak ing ngaihtaak doena cuk am kik lah.
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3 Amak thym cawngnaak ingkaw thlang ing ang oek qunaak khawnghi ce law kaw. A mimah a ngaih sainaak ham ak thak lup lup aming haakhqi ing aming zaak awi kqawnnaak aham cawngpyikungkhqi khawzah ce cawi a khel kawm uh.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 Awitak ama ming zaaknaak aham aming haakhqi ce byp unawh syn awi mailai ngainaak aham aming haakhqi keng kawm uh.
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
6 Ikawtih kai taw awk hly kawi ik-oeih nawn amyihna hawk li na awm hawh nyng, ka cehnaak hly a tym awm zoe hawh hy.
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 Qaal tuknaak leek ce tuk coeng hawh nyng, taaqunaak awm coeng hawh nyng, cangnaak ce tu khak hawh nyng.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Tuhawhtaw dyngnaak sui lumyk ce kai aham a oepchoeh na awm hawh hy, awidengkung thlak dyng, Bawipa ing ce a khawnghi awh kai ce ni pe kaw, kai doeng amni pe kaw, amah a lawnaak ak lamtoen thlangkhqi boeih a venawh awm pe lawt kaw.
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
9 Ka venawh ang tawnna na lawnaak aham hlah lah,
Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:
10 Ikawtih Dema ing khawmdek ve a lungnaak bet dawngawh ni cehta nawh Thesalonika khaw na cet hawh hy. Krescen khaw Galatia qam na cet nawh, Tita awm Dalmatia qam na cet hawh hy. (aiōn g165)
For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
11 Luka doeng ni ka venawh ak awm hy. Marka ce law pyi kawp ti, anih ce ka bibinaak awh anik bawmkung na awm hy.
Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
12 Tukika ce Ephesa khaw na tyi nyng.
And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.
13 Na law awh Troas khaw awh Karpa a im awh ka cehtaak angki dung ce haw law, cekcoengawh ka cauk, awipui na mehvyn cauk ce haw law bai.
The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.
14 Thi ak deep Alexander ing tlawhnaak ni pehy. A ik-oeih sainaak awh Bawipa ing kut thung seh.
Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:
15 Nang ingawm anih ce ngaihtaak doena oelh law, kawtih ningnih ak awih kqawn ve anih ing oelh hy.
Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.
16 Cang ka lawhnaak kak kqawn awh, kai anik dyih pyi u pynoet awm am law hy, thlang boeih ing ni cehta uhy. A mingmih ak khanawh seetnaak koeh pha seh.
At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
17 Cehlai kai ak caming awithang ve khypyi khawnghak na a awm nawh Gentelkhqi boeih ing aming zaak thainaak aham Bawipa ce ka venawh dyi nawh tha ni pehy. Sendeih am khak khui awhkawng kai ce ni loet sak hy.
Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18 Anik cuhkung ik-oeih amak leek a kut khui awhkawng Bawipa ing ni hul kawmsaw ak khawk khan na a ding a syk na ni ceh pyi kaw. Amah a venawh thangleeknaak kumqui dyna awm seh. Amen. (aiōn g165)
And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
19 Priscilla, Akuila ingkaw Onesifora ipkhui kaw ce kut tlaih law.
Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.
20 Erasta ce Korin khaw awh awm nawh, Tqopfima ce a tlawh dawngawh Mileta awh cehta nyng.
Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.
21 Chikca a pha hlanawh vena a pha lawnaak aham tha lo law lah. Eubula, Puden, Linu, Klaudia ingkaw koeinaakhqi boeih ing kut ni tlaih uhy.
Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
22 Bawipa taw nang myihla awh ce awm seh. Am qeennaak na venawh awm seh.
The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen. The second epistle unto Timotheus, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Ephesians, was written from Rome, when Paul was brought before Nero the second time.
