< 2 Thessalonika 2 >

1 Ni Bawipa Jesu Khrih a lawnaak ingkaw amah awh ningnih ning cun awh ce, koeinaakhqi,
But we request you, brethren, —in behalf of the Presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him,
2 thlang pynoet ak awiphawngnaak aw, awikqawnnaak aw, capat mai aw kaimih a venawh kaw ak law amyihna, Bawipa a khawnghi pha law hawh hy tinawh kqawnnaak awi a awm awhtaw am nami lynaak aham kqawn law nyng.
That ye be not quickly tossed from your mind, nor be put in alarm—either by spirit, or by discourse, or by letter as by us, as that the day of the Lord, hath set in:
3 U ingawm nangmih koeh ni thai nak khqi seh, qaal na ak tho thlang ingkaw seetnaak ahamna ak awm lap hang na bi ak bi ak thlang ang dang law hlan dy taw, ce a khawnghi ce am pha law kaw.
That no one may cheat, you, in any one respect. Because [that day will not set in] —except the revolt come first, and there he revealed the man of lawlessness, the son of destruction,
4 Khawsa tinawh khy aham ingkaw amah ce bawk aham, Khawsa a bawkim awh amah ingkaw amah ce hawih qu nawh Khawsa na amah ingkaw amah ak kqawn qu thlang ce qaal na tho kawmsaw zoeksang kawm uh.
The one who opposeth and exalteth himself on high against every one called God, or an object of worship; so that he, within the sanctuary of God, shall take his seat, showeth himself forth, that he is, God: —
5 Nangmih a venawh ka awm awh vemyih ik-oeih akawng ka nik kqawn law peek khqi am nami sim nawh nu?
Remember ye not, that, while I was yet with you, these very things, I was telling you?
6 A tym a khoek awh ang dang naak aham, anih a hu na tu na awm hyn hy tice sim uhyk ti.
And, what now restraineth, ye know, to the end he may be revealed in his own fitting time;
7 Tuh anaa amak ta thlangkhqi ing ang hyp na bibi hawh uhy; cawhkaw bi ak bikung ce khoe valh na a awm hlan dy bibi hun kaw.
For, the secret, of lawlessness, already, is inwardly working itself, —only, until, he that restraineth at present, shall be gone, out of the midst:
8 Cawhtaw anaa amak takhqi ce dang hawh kawm uh, cemyih thlangkhqi ce Bawipa Jesu ing boeimang soeih na a law awh am kha awhkaw hqi ing hqe boeih kaw.
And, then, shall be revealed the lawless one, —whom, the Lord [Jesus], will slay with the Spirit of his mouth, and paralyse with the forthshining of his Presence: —
9 Anaa amak ta ing setan a bibinaak amyihna amak thym kawpoek kyi ik-oeih, hatnaak ingkaw ngaih kyinaak boeih ce haw na kawmsaw bibi kaw.
Whose, presence, [shall be] according to an inworking of Satan, with all manner of mighty work and signs and wonders of falsehood,
10 Them amak leek soepkep ingkaw ak qeeng kawi thlangkhqi ce thai na kawm uh. Cemyih ak thlangkhqi ing awitak ce lungna nawh hulnaak huh aham amik thanaak a dawngawh qeeng kawm uh.
And with all manner of deceit of unrighteousness, in them who are destroying themselves, because, the love of the truth, they did not welcome, that they might be saved; —
11 Cedawngawh a mingmih ing qaai awi ce amik cangnaak aham Khawsa ing thlakthai ce tyih pehy.
And, for this cause, God sendeth them an inworking of error, to the end they should believe in the falsehood, —
12 Awitak ce cangnaak kaana themche sainaak awh ak zeel thlangkhqi boeih thawlh sak na a awm thainaak aham cemyihna awm kaw.
In order that should be judged who would not believe in the truth, but were well-pleased with the unrighteousness.
13 Bawipa ing a lungnaak koeinaakhqi, Myihla ciimsaknaak ingkaw awitak cangnaak ak caming hul aham ak cyk ca awhkawng Khawsa ing anik tyk khqi hawh a dawngawh, nangmih aham Khawsa venawh zeelawi ka mik kqawn poepa aham awm hy.
But, we, are bound to give thanks unto God continually concerning you, brethren beloved by the Lord, for that God chose you, from the beginning, unto salvation, in sanctification of spirit and belief of truth, —
14 Ni Bawipa Jesu Khrih a boeimangnaak awh nami paa naak thai aham kaimih ak awithang leek kqawnnaak ing nangmih ce nik khy khqi hy.
Unto which he called you, through means of our glad-message, unto an acquiring of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Cedawngawh koeinaakhqi, ak cak na dyi unawh kaimih ing awi ing aw hui am lai ing aw ca ing aw ka mik kqawn law patoe ce ak cakna tu lah uh.
Hence, then, brethren, stand firm, and hold fast the instructions which ye were taught—whether through discourse, or through our letter.
16 Ni Bawipa Jesu Khrih amah qoe ing ningnih ani lungnaak khqi nawh am qeennaak ing kumqui thaawmnaak ingkaw ngaih-uunaak leek anik pekung Pa Khawsa ing, (aiōnios g166)
But may, our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, —Who hath loved you, and given you age-abiding consolation and good hope by favour, (aiōnios g166)
17 namik kawlung ce tha pe seitaw bi sainaak ingkaw awih kqawnnaak boeih awh tha ni awm sak khqi seh.
Console your hearts, and confirm you in every good work and word!
