1 Cehlai nangmih ak khuiawh cawngpyikung a qawlkhqi a awm lawt amyihna, thlangkhqi ak khuiawh awm tawngha qawlkhqi ve awm hy. Cekkhqi ing ang hyp na seetnaak hly kawi cawngpyinaak amak thym ce cawngpyi uhy, a mimah ak thlaikung boeimang Bawipa zani oelh unawh a mimah ak khanawh seetnaak ce pha sak uhy.
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will privately bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 Chahnaak ham ak awm a mingmih a lam ce thlang khawzah ing hquut kawm usaw awitak lam sim ce seet sak kawm uh.
And many will follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth will be evil spoken of.
3 Ak lawn ngaihnaak awh cawhkaw cawngpyikungkhqi ing a mimah a phawh mailai syn awi ing nangmih ce amak thym na ni haw nak khqi kaw. Dawknaak ce cekkhqi ak khanawh bang qu hyt nawh a mingmih a seetnaak ce a ih kaana a hyrpy na hqak poepa hy.
And through covetousness they will with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
4 Thawlhnaak ak sai khan ceityihkhqi ce Khawsa ing am hlyn nawh, hell na tyi hy, ak hyp dek khuina awideng aham thawng thla hy; (Tartaroō g5020)
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast [them] down to hell, and delivered [them] into chains of darkness, to be reserved to judgment; (Tartaroō g5020)
5 Khawsa kawna amak ngai thlangkhqi ak khanawh tuiliu law sak nawh, dyngnaak awi ak kqawnkung Nova ingkaw ak chang khqih tloek doeng ak hlipchungkung ing syn awhkaw khawmdek awm am hlyn hy;
And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth [person], a preacher of righteousness, bringing the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6 Khawsa kawna amak ngai thlangkhqi ak khanawh kamyihna ik-oeih a pha kaw tice huh saknaak aham Sodom ingkaw Gomorah khawk bau ce mai ing dawi nawh vyt na ngawih sak hy;
And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned [them] with an overthrow, making [them] an example to those that afterwards should live ungodly lives.
7 khawboe ak se thlangkhqi tyih ak cu a khawsaknaak awh ak kaw ak se, thlak dyng Lot ce hul hy.
And delivered just Lot, grieved with the habitual lewdness of the wicked:

(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, grieved [his] righteous soul from day to day with [their] unlawful deeds; )
9 Vemyihna a awm awhtaw, syk a zoek ing khypyinaak ak hu Khawsa ngaih ak sai thlangkhqi ikawmyihna ka hulnaak nawh thlakthawlhkhqi a boet kaana toelnaak ami huh awh ikawmyihna awi ka dengnaak hly, tice Bawipa ing sim hy.
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust to the day of judgment to be punished:
10 Ve a ik-oeih ve amak thym thawlh kawngaih sainaak ak hquut thlangkhqi ingkaw ukkung ak hep thlangkhqi aham awm khqoet kaw. Am thin ak sah ingkaw ak oek qu thlangkhqi ingtaw, khan ben ik-oeih ak che na kqawn ham ap kqih uhy;
But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous [are they], self-willed; they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
11 khan ceityih ak tha awm nawh ik-oeih ak sai thai khqoetkhqi ing zani, Bawipa a haiawh cemyih ik-oeihkhqi ce ak che na ap kqawn uhy.
Whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
12 Cehlai ve ak thlangkhqi ing a mami sim ik-oeih ak khanawh thekhanaak awi ce kqawn uhy. A mingmih taw qamsak tlung amyihna, ami simnaak taw awm lawt hlai hy, tu nawh hqe hly kawi nani ami thang hy, qamsamyihna a mingmih awm qeeng kawm uh.
But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption:
13 Thlang ak khanawh tlawhnaak ami sai dawngawh a mingmih awm tlawhnaak ing kut thung na awm lawt kaw. A mingmih a zuuqui awmhly poeknaak ce awm a dainaak awh thang khawnghak hawh hy. Coet ak kap thlangkhqi, nangmih mi buhveelnaakkung awh ak zeel thlangkhqi na awm uhy.
And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, [as] they that count it pleasure to riot in the day-time. Spots [they are] and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
14 Samphaihnaak mik ing awm unawh, thawlhnaak ce am qoeng thai uhy; kawpoek amak cakkhqi ce zoek uhy; ak pyh ngaihnaak benawh thoem uhy – tuui khyn ak zawk cakhqi na awm uhy.
Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: they have a heart exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Lam ak dyng ce cehta unawh ik-oeih che sainaak a phu ak lungnaak Beor a capa Balam a hu awh bat aham ak thoek khqi na awm uhy.
Who have forsaken the right way, and gone astray, following the way of Balaam [the son] of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
16 Cehlai anih taw a ik-oeih sai thawlhnaak awh – awi amak kqawn khawi qamsa – meqang ing zyi hy, cawhkaw meqang ing thlanghqing ak awi na pau nawh tawngha a qawnaak ce kham pehy.
But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice, forbad the madness of the prophet.
17 Vemih ak thlangkhqi taw tui amak awm lawngca, myi zilh ing a zawn ak thlangkhqi ni. Ak hyp soeih thannaak ce a mingmih aham hoep peek na awm hawh hy. (questioned)
These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. (questioned)
18 Amim khakhqi a auhtlauh na ta unawh, oeknaak awi ing khawmdek thawlh hy ngaihnaak ce sui uhy, amak thym khawsaknaak awhkawng amik loet plek thlangkhqi ce syk a zoek uhy.
For when they speak great swelling [words] of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, [through much] wantonness, those that had quite escaped from them who live in error.
19 A mimah awm seetnaak a tamnaa na ami awm huili awh thlak chang ce loet sak aham awih kqawn pe uhy, kawtih a u awm amah ak noengkung a tamnaa na awm hy.
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for by whom a man is overcome, by the same is he brought into bondage.
20 Ningmih a Bawipa Hulkung Jesu Khrih simnaak ak caming khawmdek seetnaak awhkawng ami loet hawh awh ce a ik-oeih awh awk tlaih unawh ce a ik-oeih ing a noeng khqi bai awhtaw, ak cyk awhkawng lak awh a hukhit benna nauh khqoet kawm uh.
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 Dyngnaak lam ce ami sim awh a mingmih a venawh peek na ak awm ak ciim awipeek ce ami hquut anglakawhtaw a mami sim ngala mantaw a mingmih aham nep khqoet hlai hy.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known [it], to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.
22 A mingmih awh ce vawhkaw awicyih ve thym hy: “Ui ing am lawh ai tlaih hy”, cawh “Vawknu ing tui ang hluk hqeet coengawh nawng awh cawn tlaih hy,” tive.
But it hath happened to them according to the true proverb, The dog [is] turned to his own vomit again; and, The sow that was washed, to her wallowing in the mire.
