< 2 Korin 8 >
1 Koeinaakhqi tuh, Makedonia qam awhkaw thlangboelkhqi venawh Khawsa ing a peek qeennaak ce nami sim aham ngaih nyng.
Now we make known unto you, brethren, the grace of God, that hath been given in the churches of Macedonia.
2 Sykzoeknaak sang hlai uhy, zeelnaak ing be ngen unawh, khawdeng hahqah soeih hlai uhy, ami khawboe leek hy.
That in much experience of tribulation, they have had abundance of joy; and their very deep poverty hath abounded unto the riches of their simplicity.
3 Ami peek thai khuiawh pe uhy, a mami peek thainaak a voel dyna pe uhy. A mimah qoe qoe ing,
For according to their power (I bear them witness), and beyond their power, they were willing.
4 thlakciimkhqi bi bi pek ahamna ka venawh thoeh law uhy.
With much entreaty begging of us the grace and communication of the ministry that is done toward the saints.
5 Kaimih ing kamik poeknaak amyihna am awm uhy, Bawipa venawh lamma na a mimah ingkaw a mimah aming peek qu coengawh Khawsa ngaihnaak hqut doena kaimih a venawh awm pe qu bai uhy.
And not as we hoped, but they gave their own selves first to the Lord, then to us by the will of God:
6 Cedawngawh nangmih awh maa awhkawng a sai law hawh adawngawh ve qeennaak awm nangmih avenawh a sai pahoei hamna Tita ce qeennaak thoeh nyng.
Insomuch, that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so also he would finish among you this same grace.
7 Cawhce, a soep – cangnaak awh, awihkqawn thoemnaak awh, simnaak benawh, thahlynaak kawi boeih awh, ani lungnaak khqi awh – nami huh amyihna ce qeenaak ce nami huh naak thai ahamna tha yy law uh.
That as in all things you abound in faith, and word, and knowledge, and all carefulness; moreover also in your charity towards us, so in this grace also you may abound.
8 Nangmih awi amni pek khqi nyng, cehlai coet amak kap lungnaak ce thlang a venawh ypawm na awmnaak ing nyhtah aham ngaih nyng.
I speak not as commanding; but by the carefulness of others, approving also the good disposition of your charity.
9 Ningmih Bawipa Jesu Khrih am qeennaak ce sim uhyk ti, anih ce Boei hlai hy nangmih ing anih a khawdengnaak ak caming nami boeinaak aham anih ce khawdeng na coeng hy.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that being rich he became poor, for your sakes; that through his poverty you might be rich.
10 Ve a kawnglam awh ve nangmih aham ak leek khyt ce kqawn law vang nyng: Ni hukum awh nangmih ve them ak pe cyk doeng kaana cemyih na sai ham ak ngaih cyk na awm awm uhyk ti.
And herein I give my advice; for this is profitable for you, who have begun not only to do, but also to be willing, a year ago.
11 Cawhkaw bibi ce ang coeng dy na bi uh, cawh ni na mimah a sainaak amyihna nami ngaihnaak ing ang qoep hly.
Now therefore perform ye it also in deed; that as your mind is forward to be willing, so it may be also to perform, out of that which you have.
12 Thlanghqing pek ngaihnaak kawlung ing a taak soeih awh am nawh a taak a myih lawtna a peek ve ym ham awm hawh hy.
For if the will be forward, it is accepted according to that which a man hath, not according to that which he hath not.
13 Thlangkhqi ham hawihkhang naak na a awm awh nangmih aham phyihqih na a awm aham am ngaih unyng, ang myih qip na awm ahamni kami ngaih hy.
For I mean not that others should be eased, and you burthened, but by an equality.
14 Tuh ve nangmih a thempeek ing a mingmih a voethlauhnaak ce dawm kaw, cawh ni nangmih nami voethlauh awh a mingmih ing a mini dawm hly lawt hy. Cawhtaw ang myih pin na awm kawm uk ti:
In this present time let your abundance supply their want, that their abundance also may supply your want, that there may be an equality,
15 Ak cun ingawm am ta kyng nawh, a khoehca ak cun ingawm a khoehca am tahy,” tinawh a qee amyihna.
As it is written: He that had much, had nothing over; and he that had little, had no want.
16 Nangmih a venawh ngaihnaak ka taak lawt amyihna nangmih a venawh ngaihnaak kawlung Tita a venawh ak pekung Khawsa venawh zeelnaak awi kqawn nyng.
And thanks be to God, who hath given the same carefulness for you in the heart of Titus.
17 Kaimih a thoehnaak ce a do coengawh, amah a ngaihnaak kawlung qoe ing nangmih a venna law aham ngaih hy.
For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more careful, of his own will he went unto you.
18 Anih ing ak law haih aham awithang leek awh thlangboel ce tyi law haih kawng unyng.
We have sent also with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel through all the churches.
19 Cek coeng bai awh, kutdo ce kami khyn awh kaimih anik bawng aham anih ce thlangboel ing tyk bai hy, cawhkaw ik-oeih kutpeek bibinaak taw Bawipa amah zoeksangnaak ham ingkaw thlang dawmhlai aham ngaihnaak ta unyng tice dang saknaak ahamni.
And not that only, but he was also ordained by the churches companion of our travels, for this grace, which is administered by us, to the glory of the Lord, and our determined will:
20 Vawhkaw ngaihding na ik-oeih kutpeek bibinaak awh thlang ing a coet aham am ngaih unyng.
Avoiding this, lest any man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us.
21 Ikawtih ak dyng ik-oeih taw Bawipa mik huh doeng am nawh thlanghqing mik huh awh awm sai aham tha lo unyng.
For we forecast what may be good not only before God, but also before men.
22 Cek coeng bai awh, ik-oeih a boe awh thahly na ak awm, tuh ak khqoet awh awm nangmih ni ypnak khqi nawh tha ak hly soeih kaimih a naa ce tyi law kawng unyng.
And we have sent with them our brother also, whom we have often proved diligent in many things; but now much more diligent, with much confidence in you,
Either for Titus, who is my companion and fellow labourer towards you, or our brethren, the apostles of the churches, the glory of Christ.
24 Cedawngawh thlangboel ing a huh thainaak aham, ve ak thlangkhqi venawh nangmih a lungnaak ingkaw nangmih awh kaimih ang oek qunaak ce dang sak lah uh.
Wherefore shew ye to them, in the sight of the churches, the evidence of your charity, and of our boasting on your behalf.
