< 2 Korin 3 >
1 Ka mimah ingkaw ka mimah kamik kyih qu nu? Thlangkhqi amyihna, nangmih a ven awhkaw aw, am awhtaw nangmih a ham aw kyihnaak cahawn kami ngaih nawh nu?
Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? We do not need, as do some, letters of commendation to you or from you, do we?
2 Nangmih taw, kaimih ak kawlung khuiawh qeena ak awm, thlang boeih ing sim nawh noet uhy, kaimih a capat na awm uhyk ti.
You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by everyone;
3 Nangmih taw, kaimih a bibinaak a phu, Khrih a ven awhkaw capat na awm uhyk ti tice dangsak uhyk ti, catui ing a qee am nawh ak hqing Khawsa ang Myihla ing qee na awm uhyk ti, lungpei awhkaw qee am nawh thlanghqing kawlung awh ni qee na a awm.
being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.
4 Ve ve Khrih ak caming Khawsa haiawh ningnih a ngaihdingnaak na awm hy.
Such confidence we have through Christ toward God;
5 Ka mimah ak caming ik-oeih ak awm sak amyihna am poek unyng saw ak awm sakkung taw Khawsa ni.
not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;
who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
7 Lungpei awh qee na ak awm, thihnaak ak law pyikung cahawn ce Mosi ing a haw law awh, cawhkaw bibinaak awh a boeimang haai ce Israelkhqi ing am toek thai uhy, cehlai anih a haai ce thi hqui didi hy,
But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away:
8 cawhtaw Myihla a bibinaak ak khqoet ikawmyihna a boeimangnaak kaw?
won't service of the Spirit be with much more glory?
9 Thlang ak bo sak bibinaak zani a boeimang awhtaw, dyngnaak ak lawpyi bibinaak ak khqoet ce ikawmyihna nu a boeimangnaak hly!
For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
10 Ak kqym awh boeimang na ak awm ce tuh awhkaw boeimangnaak ing a poe voelh hawh dawngawh am boeimang voel hy.
For truly that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasses.
11 Ak thi hqui didi zani boeimangnaak ing a law awhtaw, a poepa na ak boeimang taw bau khqoet kawm man!
For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.
12 Cemyih ngaih-unaak ce ni taak dawngawh nim thin cak hy.
Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech,
13 Mosi amyihna amni awm uhy, Anih ingtaw a hai awhkaw vangnaak a thih hqui voe voe awh Israelkhqi ing hu hau kawm uh, tinawh hi ing dah hy.
and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel would not look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away.
14 Cehlai amik kaw mawh hy, tuh dy na awikam kqym ami noet noet awh ami haai dah hyn uhy. Hi ce hliip hlan uhy, Khrih doeng awh cawhkaw hi ce lawh thai na awm hy.
But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away.
15 Mosi ak cauk ce ami noet awh tuh dy na ami lingbyi dah pek khi hyn hy.
But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
16 Cehlai u awm Bawipa benna ak mang taw, cawhkaw hi ce hliip pe hawh hy.
But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
17 Bawipa taw Myihla na awm hy, Bawipa Myihla a awmnaak hoei awh, ngaihdingnaak ce awm hy.
Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 Ningmih haai dahnaak amak awmkhqi venawh Bawipa a boeimangnaak ce vang hy, amah mi ning myih qu voe voe unawh Myihla na ak awm, Bawipa a ven awhkaw Boeimangnaak ing ni be voe voe uhy.
But we all, with unveiled face looking as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.
