< 2 Korin 10 >
1 Kai Paul, naming lakawh thlang mik huhawh kawdungnaak ing ak awm, lak a hla awh nangmih anik poekkhqi ing, Khrih ak kawdawnaak ingkaw khawboe leeknaak ing ni thoeh khqi nyng;
Now I Paul, myself, entreat you by the humility and gentleness of Christ; I who in your presence am lowly among you, but being absent am of good courage toward you.
2 Ve khawmdek phung amyihna khaw ak sa myihna ak poekkhqi venawh thincaknaak ka taak amyihna nangmih a venawh am ka lawnaak ham nangmih a venawh qeennaak thoeh law nyng.
But I implore you that when I am present I may not have to be bold with the confidence with which I intend on showing against some, who consider us to be walking according to the flesh.
3 Pumsa ing awm pai hlai unyng, khawmdek pumsa qaal amyihna qaal am tuk unyng.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh;
4 kaimih a phuqaakhqi ve ve khawmdek phuqaakhqi amni. Kaimih a phuqaa taw vawngpui ak hqe thai Khawsa thaawmnaak veni.
for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty in God for the tearing down of strongholds,
5 Oelhnaakkhqi ingkaw Khawsa a cyihnaak ak oelh thainaak, poeknaakkhqi boeih boeih ce Khrih ak awi ngai aham sai unyng.
throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;
6 Nangmih ak awi ngainaak ce a soep awh, awi amak ngai a sainaakkhqi ngainaak ce a soep awh, awi amak ngai a sainaakkhqi boeih boeih ce toel aham a oepchoeh na awmhly unyng.
and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience will be made full.
7 Nangmih ingtaw ak khan ik-oeih doeng ce toek uhyk ti. U ingawm Khrih a koena awm nyng tice a sim ceet awhtaw anih amyihna ni kaimih awm Khrih a koena kami awm lawt hy tice ak poek tlaih aham awm hy.
Do you look at things only as they appear in front of your face? If anyone trusts in himself that he is Christ's, let him consider this again with himself, that, even as he is Christ's, so also we are Christ's.
8 Nangmih ce hu benna ak dawh lat kaana hai benna taai sak aham Bawipa ing saithainaak ani peekkhqi a dawngawh kang oek qu awhtaw, ap chak nyng.
For though I should boast somewhat abundantly concerning our authority, (which the Lord gave for building you up, and not for casting you down) I will not be disappointed,
9 Ka capat ing nangmih kqih sak aham am ngaih nyng.
that I may not seem as if I desire to terrify you by my letters.
10 Thlang pynoet ing, Anih a capatkhqi kqih nawh ak tha awm hlai hy, ak thlang pum ingtaw thlang awm am noeng nawh ak awih kqawnkhqi awm kawna am awm hy,” ti uhy.
For, "His letters," they say, "are weighty and strong, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech is despised."
11 Cemyih ak thlang ing veve sim seh nyng, nami venawh am ka awm awh capat awh awina ka awm amyihna nami venawh ka awm awhawm bibinaak ing awm kawng nyng.
Let such a person consider this, that what we are in word by letters when we are absent, such are we also in deed when we are present.
12 Amah ingkaw amah ak zoeksang qukhqi mi nyhtah aham am ngaih unyng. Cekkhqi ing a mimah ingkaw a mimah ce ami nyhtah awh, am cyi uhy.
For we are not bold to number or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. But they themselves, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are without understanding.
13 Cehlai kaimih taw, kaming oek qu hly kawi a voel na am oek qu kawng unyng, Khawsa ing ani peek bibinaak ak khui doeng ni ka ming oek qu hly, cawhkaw bibinaak ak khuiawh nangmih awm paa uhyk ti.
But we will not boast beyond proper limits, but within the boundaries with which God appointed to us, which reach even to you.
14 Khawteh na am oek qu hly unyng, nangmih a venawh am kami law mantaw oek qu hly mai hlai unyng, kawtih nangmih a venawh ang coeng thai khuina Khrih ak awithang leek ce ning zaak sak khqi hawh nyng.
For we do not stretch ourselves too much, as though we did not reach to you. For we came even as far as to you with the Good News of Christ,
15 Thlang a bibinaak ak khanawh am oek qu unyng. Kaimih ang ngaih-unaak taw, nangmih ak cangnaak ce taai nawh, kaimih a bibinaak awm nangmih anglakawh a kaunaak thai hamni,
not boasting excessively in the work done by others, but having hope that as your faith grows, we will be abundantly enlarged by you in our sphere of influence,
16 cawhni nangmih a awmnaak a kil dyna awithang leek ve kamik khypyi hly thai hy. Thlak chang a bibinaak ce awh oek qu aham am ngaih unyng.
so as to preach the Good News even to the regions beyond you, not to boast in what someone else has already done.
17 Cehlai, Ak oek qu ingtaw Bawipa awh oek qu seh.
But "he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord."
18 Ikawtih u awm amah ingkaw amah ak zoeksang qu thlang ce do na am awm nawh, Bawipa ing a zoeksang thlang ni ami do hy.
For it is not he who commends himself who is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
