< 1 Korin 4 >
1 Cedawngawh ningnih ve Khrih a tyihzawih ingkaw Khawsa ak awihyp ak khoem thlang na thlang ing ning ngai khqi seh.
Let a man so account of us as of the ministers of Christ, and the dispensers of the mysteries of God.
2 Ik-oeih ak khoemkung taw ypawmna a awm ham ngaih hy.
Here now it is required among the dispensers, that a man be found faithful.
3 Nangmih am awhtaw thlanghqing awidengnaak ing awi nami ni deng mai mantaw ikaw na awm am poek nyng; kamah ingkaw kamah zani awi am deng qunyng.
But to me it is a very small thing to be judged by you, or by man’s day; but neither do I judge my own self.
4 Kak kawpoek ve caih hlai hy, coet a kap kaana am awm nyng. Bawipa ing ni kai ve awi a ni deng hy.
For I am not conscious to myself of any thing, yet am I not hereby justified; but he that judgeth me, is the Lord.
5 Cedawngawh a tym a pha hlanawh u awm awi koeh deng; Bawipa a law dy qeh uh. Anih ing khawmthan khuiawh thuh na ak awmkhqi ce vangnaak awh dang sak kawmsaw thlanghqing ak kawlung awm dang sak bit kaw. Cawh thlang boeih ing Khawsa am kyihnaak ce hu boeih bit kawm uh.
Therefore judge not before the time; until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall every man have praise from God.
6 Tuh koeinaakhqi, “Cawh qee na ak awm ak kep na koeh cet uh,” tinaak awi ce kainih a venawh kawng nami cawngnaak thai aham nangmih nami hawihkhangnaak aham ve a ik-oeihkhqi ve kai ingkaw Apollo ing haw na nih nyng. Cawhtaw thlang pynoet ing pynoet ak khanawh am oek qu kaw.
But these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollo, for your sakes; that in us you may learn, that one be not puffed up against the other for another, above that which is written.
7 U ing nu nangmih ak lawha bet na a ni sai khqi? Am nami huh ak kaa awh ikaw nami taak? Nami huh awhtaw kawtih amak hu amyihna nami zoeksang qu?
For who distinguisheth thee? Or what hast thou that thou hast not received? And if thou hast received, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
8 Nami ngaih ce ta hawh uhyk ti! Nangmih taw boei hawh uhyk ti! Kaimih kaana – sangpahrangkhqi na coeng hawh uhyk ti! Nangmih mi sangpahrang na awm haih aham, sangpahrang na nami awm tang tang ce ni ngaih pyi khqi soeih soeih nyng!
You are now full; you are now become rich; you reign without us; and I would to God you did reign, that we also might reign with you.
9 Kai ingtaw, thih aham ami toen thlangkhqi amyihna, Khawsa ing kaimih ceityihkhqi ve a dytnaak benawh ni dang sak namih hy, tinawh poek nyng. Khawk khan ingkaw khawmdek boeih a haiawh, khan ceityihkhqi ingkaw thlangkhqi haiawh dan aham kaimih ve ni sai khqi hy.
For I think that God hath set forth us apostles, the last, as it were men appointed to death: we are made a spectacle to the world, and to angels, and to men.
10 Khrih aham thlakqaw na awm unyng, cehlai nangmih taw Khrih awh cyi uhyk ti! Kaimih taw ka mik tha am awm hy, cehlai nangmih taw namik tha awm hy!
We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honourable, but we without honour.
11 Tuh qoe qoe awh ve kaimih taw buh cawi unawh tui ngaih unyng, ak pum a zal na awm unyng, thlang a kut hqitnaak na awm unyng saw im a lo taal unyng.
Even unto this hour we both hunger and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no fixed abode;
12 Ka mimah a kut ing bi bi unyng. Thlang ing a ni thekhanaak khqi awh, yh ngah ngah unyng;
And we labour, working with our own hands: we are reviled, and we bless; we are persecuted, and we suffer it.
13 amak thym na ami nik kqawn awh, kawdungnaak ing hlat pe unyng. Tuh dy na khawmdek bi bawi amyihna awm unyng saw, khawmdek ing ama ngaih na awm unyng.
We are blasphemed, and we entreat; we are made as the refuse of this world, the offscouring of all even until now.
14 Nangmih namik chahnaak aham ve ak ca ve ka qee law amni, ka lungnaak ka cakhqi amyihna ni nami ngaihtaaknaak aham ve ak ca ve qee law nyng.
I write not these things to confound you; but I admonish you as my dearest children.
15 Khrih awh nangmih a nik khoemkungkhqi thlang thonghqa awm ta hlai uhyk ti, pa khawzah am ta uhyk ti, Ikawtih Jesu Khrih awh awithang leek ak caming kai ve nangmih a pa na coeng nyng.
For if you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet not many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, by the gospel, I have begotten you.
16 Cedawngawh kai ve nami ni oet aham ni ngaih khqi nyng.
Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me, as I also am of Christ.
17 Ve adawngawh ka lungnaak, ka capa ingkaw thlang ypawm, Timote ce nangmih a venawh tyi law nyng, anih ing Jesu Khrih awh ka khawsak ce khaw a hoei awhkaw Thlangboel a venawh ka cawngpyinaak a amyih ce ni sim sak khqi bit kaw.
For this cause have I sent to you Timothy, who is my dearest son and faithful in the Lord; who will put you in mind of my ways, which are in Christ Jesus; as I teach every where in every church.
18 Kai, nangmih a ven am kak law hly voel amyihna thlangvang ing oek qu uhy.
As if I would not come to you, so some are puffed up.
19 Cehlai, Bawipa ing tyng hy a ti awhtaw, nangmih a venna law nai kawng nyng, cawh cawhkaw ak oek qukhqi ak awi doeng kaana, a mi bibikhqi ce sim bit kawng.
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will: and will know, not the speech of them that are puffed up, but the power.
20 Ikawtih Khawsa qam taw pauthainaak awh am awm nawh thaawmnaak awh ni a awm.
For the kingdom of God is not in speech, but in power.
21 Han nu nami ngaih bet? Vyknaak cung ing nu ka law kaw, am awhtaw lungnaak ingkaw kawdungnaak ing nu ka law kaw?
What will you? shall I come to you with a rod; or in charity, and in the spirit of meekness?
