1 Amih te boeilu rhoek taengah, saithainah taengah, boengai ham, olngai ham, bibi then boeih dongah sikim la om ham thoelh pah.
Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and authorities, to obey rulers, to be ready for every good work,
2 Soehsal uh boel saeh. Kodo neh oldip kadip la om ham, hlang boeih taengah muelhtuetnah boeih tueng sak.
to revile no one, not to be contentious, but gentle, showing all meekness to all men.
3 Hnukbuet ah mamih khaw hlangang altha la ng'om uh tih n'rhaithi uh. Hoehhamnah neh omthenbawnnah rhoepsaep dongah sal m'bi uh. Phayoenah neh uethnetnah dongah kho n'sak uh. Khat neh khat rhalawt la hmuhuet uh thae.
For we ourselves also were formerly foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various desires and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 Tedae mamih khangkung Pathen kah rhennah neh lungnah te a thoeng vaengah,
But when the kindness and philanthropy of God our Savior appeared, he saved us,

not by works of righteousness which we had done, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
6 Tekah te mamih khangkung Jesuh Khrih rhangneh mamih soah kodam la han lun coeng.
which he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;
7 Te daengah ni Boeipa kah lungvatnah rhangneh n'tang uh coeng tih dungyan hingnah kah ngaiuepnah dongah rhopangkung la n'om uh coeng. (aiōnios g166)
that, being justified by his grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
8 Hekah olka tah a uepom. Te dongah nang khaw cak sak la ka cai. Te daengah ni Pathen aka tangnah rhoek loh bibi then tuuk ham a ngaithuen uh eh. Hekah he then tih hlang ham hoeikhang la om.
This saying is true, and in respect to these things, I will that you affirm strongly, in order that those who have believed in God may be careful to practice good works: these are the things that are honorable and profitable for men.
9 Tedae aka ang kah olpungnah khaw, rhuirhong khaw, tohhaemnah neh olming kongah rhalthohnah khaw rhael. Amih te aka hloo neh a honghi ni.
But foolish questions and genealogies and strifes and contentions about the law, avoid; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 Hlaephlae hlang te vai phoeiah a pabae la rhalrhingnah pae lamtah hnawt.
A man that is a sectary, reject, after the first and second admonition,
11 Tebang tah boe tih tholh tila ming. Aka boe la om coeng.
knowing that such a one is perverted, and sins, being self-condemned.
12 Nang taengla Artemas nim, Tukhiko nim kan tueih vaengah Nikopoli ah kamah taengla pawk ham te na haam mako. Te rhoek ah sikca boek ham ka cai.
When I send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, hasten to come to me at Nicopolis; for I have determined to spend the winter there.
13 Olming Zenas neh Apollos te ngahngah thak. Te daengah ni a vawtthoek pawt eh.
Conduct Zenas the lawyer, and Apollos on their journey with care, that nothing may be wanting to them.
14 A ngoengaih tangkik vanbangla mah rhoek long khaw bibi then tuuk ham cang van saeh. Te daengah ni a tlongtlai la a om uh pawt eh.
Let our people also learn to practice good works for necessary uses, that they may not be unfruitful.
15 Kai taengah aka om rhoek boeih loh nang kut n'tuuk uh. Tangnah dongah mamih aka lungnah rhoek te kuttu. Lungvatnah tah nangmih boeih taengah om saeh.
All that are with me salute you. Salute those who love us in faithfulness. Grace be with you all. Amen.
