< Olphong 7 >
1 He phoeiah diklai kil pali ah aka pai puencawn pali te ka hmuh. Diklai khohli pali te a oel uh. Te daengah ni khohli loh diklai dongah, tuili soah, thingkung boeih soah a hli pawt eh.
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, tightly holding back the four winds of the earth so that no wind should blow on the earth, on the sea, or against any tree.
2 Te phoeiah aka hing Pathen kah kutnoek aka pom puencawn pakhat te khomik kah khocuk lamloh ha thoeng te ka hmuh. Anih taengah diklai neh tuitunli te hmalaem sak ham a paek tangtae puencawn pali te ol ue neh a doek.
I saw another angel coming up from the east, who had the seal of the living God. He cried out with a loud voice to the four angels who were given permission to harm the earth and the sea:
3 “Kaimih Pathen kah sal te a tal dongah kutnoek ka daeng uh hlan hil diklai khaw, tuitunli khaw, thing khaw thae sak boeh,” a ti.
“Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees until we have put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”
4 Te vaengah kutnoek a daeng kah hlangmi te ka yaak. Israel koca boeih lamkah kutnoek a daeng te thawng yakhat thawng sawmli thawng li louh.
I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000, who were sealed from every tribe of the people of Israel:
5 Judah koca lamkah thawng hlainit loh kutnoek a daeng uh. Reuben koca lamkah thawng hlainit, Gad koca lamkah thawng hlainit,
twelve thousand from the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand from the tribe of Gad,
6 Asher koca lamkah thawng hlainit, Naphtali koca lamkah thawng hlainit, Manasseh koca lamkah thawng hlainit,
twelve thousand from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand from the tribe of Manasseh,
7 Simeon koca lamkah thawng hlainit, Levi koca lamkah thawng hlainit, Isakhar koca lamkah thawng hlainit,
twelve thousand from the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand from the tribe of Issachar,
8 Zebulun koca lamkah thawng hlainit, Joseph koca lamkah thawng hlainit, Benjamin koca lamkah thawng hlainit te kutnoek a daeng uh.
twelve thousand from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand from the tribe of Joseph, and twelve thousand from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed.
9 Te phoeiah hlangping muep tarha ka hmuh. Te rhoek te a tae thai moenih. Namtom boeih, pilnam koca rhoek neh ol com ol khui lamkah te tuca hmai neh ngolkhoel hmaiah pai uh. A kut dongkah rhophoe neh hnikul a bok a bai uh.
After these things I looked, and there was a huge multitude that no one could count—from every nation, tribe, people, and language—standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands,
10 Te phoeiah ol ue la pang uh tih, “Khangnah tah ngolkhoel soah aka ngol mamih Pathen neh Tuca kah ni,” a ti uh.
and they were calling out with a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
11 Te phoeiah ngolkhoel taengvai ah aka pai puencawn rhoek neh, patong rhoek neh mulhing pali boeih loh, ngolkhoel hmaiah a maelhmai buluk uh tih Pathen te a bawk uh.
All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne. They worshiped God,
12 “Amen, Mamih kah Pathen te yoethennah, thangpomnah, cueihnah, uemonah, hinyahnah, thaomnah neh thadueng tah kumhal ah kumhal duela om saeh! Amen,” a ti uh. (aiōn )
saying, “Amen! Praise, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and strength be to our God forever and ever! Amen!” (aiōn )
13 Te phoeiah patong rhoek khuikah pakhat loh a doo tih kai taengah, “Hnikul a bok aka bai rhoek, amih he me lamkah aka om neh me lamkah nim ha pawk?” a ti.
Then one of the elders asked me, “Who are these, clothed with white robes, and where did they come from?”
14 Te vaengah amah te, “Ka Boeipa namah loh na ming,” ka ti nah. Tedae kamah taengah, “He rhoek tah phacip phabaem len lamkah aka pawk rhoek ni. A hnikul te a suk uh tih Tuca kah thii neh a bok sak uh,” a ti.
I said to him, “Sir, you know,” and he said to me, “These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Te dongah Pathen kah ngolkhoel hmaiah om uh tih a bawkim ah khoyin khothaih amah a bawk uh. Ngolkhoel sokah aka ngol loh amih te a rhaeh thil.
For this reason, they are before the throne of God, and they worship him day and night in his temple. The one who is seated on the throne will spread his tent over them.
16 A bungpong uh voel mahpawh. Tuihal uh voel mahpawh. Khomik loh amih tlak thil voel pawt vetih kholing cungkuem loh do mahpawh.
They will not be hungry again, nor will they be thirsty again. The sun will not beat down on them, nor any burning heat.
17 Ngolkhoel lakli kah tuca loh amih te a dawndah vetih amih te hingnah tuisih tui kungla long a tueng ni. Amih mik lamkah mikphi boeih te Pathen loh a huih ni.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
