1 Ephisa hlangboel kah puencawn te daek pah. He he a bantang ah aisi parhih aka pom tih sui hmaitung parhih lakli ah aka pongpa long ni a thui.
To the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2 Na khoboe neh thakthaenah khaw, na uehnah khaw, boethae rhoek na doe uh thai pawt ham khaw, amamih caeltueih rhoek ni aka ti rhoek te a hong a tak khaw na noem uh tih, amih kah laithae na ming uh khaw ka ming.
I know thy works, and thy labor, and thy patience, and that thou canst not bear them who are evil; and thou hast tried them who say they are apostles, and are not; and hast found them liars:
3 Uehnah khaw na khueh uh tih kai ming ham na yingyawn vaengah na thakthae uh pawh.
And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast labored, and hast not fainted.
4 Tedae nangmih ah ka khueh tah nangmih kah lungnah lamhma te na hnawt uh.
Nevertheless, I have [somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 Te dongah me lamkah na tlak uh khaw poek uh. Yut uh lamtah lamhma kah khoboe te saii laeh. Te pawt koinih nang kam paan vetih na hmaitung te a hmuen lamkah ka khoe ni. Na yut pawt koinih ne.
Remember therefore from whence thou hast fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come to thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of its place, except thou repent.
6 Tedae Nikolaitan kah khoboe hmuhuet ham na khueh uh. Te te ka hmuhuet van.
But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 Mueihla loh hlangboel taengah a thui te hna aka khueh loh ya saeh. Aka noeng tah Pathen kah Paradai ah aka om hingnah thing te caak ham ka paek ni.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
8 Smyrna hlangboel kah puencawn te khaw daek pah. He he lamhma neh lamhnuk loh a thui. Amah tah aka duek la om tih hing coeng.
And to the angel of the church in Smyrna, write; These things saith the first and the last, who was dead, and is alive;
9 Nang kah phacip phabaem neh khodaeng te ka ming tedae kuirhang la na om. Te phoeiah amamih te Judah hlang la ka om aka ti rhoek kah soehsalnah khaw ka ming. Tedae om uh hae pawt tih Satan kah tunim la poeh uh.
I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and [I know] the blasphemy of them who say they are Jews, and are not, but [are] the synagogue of Satan.
10 Patang ham te rhih boeh. Nangmih noemcai ham nangmih khuikah te rhaithae loh thongim ah a hlak pawn ni ke. Khohnin hnin rha phacip phabaem na yook uh ni. Duek due uepom la om lah, hingnah rhuisam te nang kan paek ni.
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil will cast [some] of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful to death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
11 Mueihla loh hlangboel taengah a thui te hna aka khueh loh ya saeh. Aka noeng tah paibae dueknah loh thae thil loengloeng mahpawh.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches; He that overcometh, shall not be hurt by the second death.
12 Pergamum hlangboel kah puencawn te khaw daek pah. Thunglang voeivang a haat la aka khueh loh he rhoek he a thui.
And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he who hath the sharp sword with two edges;
13 Mela na om, Satan kah ngolkhoel tah mela a om te ka ming. Te phoeiah kai ming te na pom uh tih kai ah uepom ka laipai Antipa tue ah pataeng kai dongah tangnah te na hnawt pawh. Amah te nangmih taengah a ngawn coeng. Te ah te Satan loh kho a sak.
I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, [even] where Satan's seat [is]: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas [was] my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
14 Tedae nangmih taengah bet ka khueh. Balaam kah thuituennah te aka pom rhoek te na om. Anih loh Israel ca rhoek hmaiah thangkui tung ham, mueirhol buh caak ham neh cukhalh ham te Balaak a caemtuh.
But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling-block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit lewdness.
15 Nangmih khaw Nikolaitan rhoek kah thuituennah banghuila aka pom rhoek te na om uh van.
So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
16 Te dongah yut laeh. Te pawt koinih na taengah tlek ka pawk vetih kamah kah thunglang neh amih te ka tloek ni.
Repent; or else I will come to thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 Mueihla loh hlangboel rhoek taengah a thui te hna aka khueh loh ya saeh. Aka noeng tah a thuh khuikah manna te amah ka paek ni. Lungcang bok khaw anih ka paek ni. Te lungcang soah ming thai a daek te aka doe rhoek pawt long tah a ming moenih.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth, he excepted, that receiveth [it].
18 Thyatira hlangboel kah puencawn te khaw daek pah. He he Pathen capa long ni a thui. A mik te tah hmai tak bangla, a kho tah rhohum ngo phek la a khueh.
And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet [are] like fine brass;
19 Nang kah khoboe te khaw, lungnah te khaw, tangnah khaw, bibi neh na uehnah khaw, na khoboe te lamhma lakah hnukkhueng te muep ka ming.
I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last [to be] more than the first:
20 Tedae Jezebel nu na hlapham uh te nangmih taengah toel ham om. Anih loh amah te tonghmanu ni a ti. Te dongah ka sal rhoek te cukhalh sak ham neh mueirhol buh cah ham a thuituen tih a rhaithi thil.
Notwithstanding, I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, who calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit lewdness, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.
21 Yut ham a tue khaw anih ka paek dae amah kah Cukhalnah te yut ham ngaih pawh.
And I gave her time to repent of her lewdness, and she repented not.
22 Anih te thingkong dongla ka voeih coeng he. Anih taengah aka samphaih rhoek te khaw, anih khoboe lamkah a yut uh pawt atah aka nah phacip phabaem khuiah ka pha sak ni.
Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
23 A ca rhoek te khaw dueknah neh ka ngawn vetih a kuel neh a thin aka khe te kai ni tila hlangboel rhoek loh boeih a ming uh ni. Nangmih khaw namamih kah khoboe tarhing la rhip kan paek ni.
And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he who searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give to every one of you according to your works.
24 Tedae nangmih Thyatira kah aka hoei rhoek taengah ni ka thui. He kah thuituennah he hlang boeih loh a khueh moenih. Amih loh Satan kah oldung te a ming uh moenih. A ti uh bangla nangmih te hnorhih pakhat khaw kan naan thil moenih.
But to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, As many as have not this doctrine, and who have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you no other burden:
25 Tedae na khueh uh te ka pawk hil atah ana tuu uh.
But that which ye have [already] hold fast till I come.
26 Aka noeng neh kai kah khoboe hmakhah duela aka ngaithuen tah namtom rhoek soah saithainah ka paek ni.
And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works to the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 Te vaengah amih te dikpo am a thaeh bangla thi conghol neh a dawn ni.
(And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: ) even as I received of my Father.
28 Kai khaw a pa taengkah ka dang vanbangla anih khaw aisi thuipa te ka paek ni.
And I will give him the morning-star.
29 Mueihla loh hlangboel rhoek taengah a thui te hna aka khueh loh ya saeh.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.
