1 Halang rhoek kah caemtuh dongah aka cet pawt tih, hlangtholh rhoek kah longpuei ah aka pai pawh, hmuiyoi rhoek kah tolrhum ah aka ngol pawt hlang te tah a yoethen.
Happy are those who do not follow the counsel of the wicked, not halting in ways frequented by sinners, nor taking a seat in a gathering of scoffers.
2 Tedae BOEIPA kah olkhueng dongah a hlahmae tih khoyin khothaih olkhueng dongah aka thuep tah,
But the law of the Lord is their joy, they study it day and night.
3 Sokca tui taengah a phung thingkung bangla a om dongah amah tue ah a thaih thaii tih, a hnah khaw hoo pawh. A saii boeih te khaw thaihtak.
They are like trees planted by runlets of water, yielding fruit in due season, leaves never fading. In all that they do, they prosper.
4 Halang rhoek tah te tlam pawt tih anih te cangkik bangla yilh loh lat a yawn.
Not so fare the wicked, not so; like chaff are they, blown by the wind.
5 Te dongah halang rhoek te laitloeknah dongah, hlangtholh rhoek te hlangdueng rhaengpuei taengah, tlai thai mahpawh.
So the wicked will not stand firm in the judgment, nor sinners appear, when the righteous are gathered.
6 BOEIPA loh aka dueng rhoek kah longpuei te a ngaithuen dongah halang rhoek kah longpuei tah khoep bing ni.
For the way of the righteous is dear to the Lord, but the way of the wicked will end in ruin.
