1 Ezrakhi Ethan kah Hlohlai BOEIPA kah sitlohnah te, cadilcahma phoeikah cadilcahma duela, kumhal ah ka hlai ni. Namah kah uepomnah te, ka ka neh ka tukkil ni.
Maschil. Of Ethan the Ezrahite. My song will be of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make his faith clear to all generations.
2 Sitlohnah loh vaan a khoeng tih, a khuiah na uepomnah na soepboe te kumhal ah ka thui ni.
For you have said, Mercy will be made strong for ever; my faith will be unchanging in the heavens.
3 Ka coelh taengah moi ka boh tih ka sal David taengah ka toemngam coeng.
I have made an agreement with the man of my selection, I have made an oath to David my servant;
4 Na tiingan te kumhal duela ka thoh vetih na ngolkhoel te cadilcahma phoeikah cadilcahma ham ka hol pah ni. (Selah)
I will make your seed go on for ever, your kingdom will be strong through all generations. (Selah)
5 Te dongah BOEIPA nang kah khobaerhambae te vaan rhoek loh, na uepomnah khaw a cim hlangping khuiah a uem uh.
In heaven let them give praise for your wonders, O Lord; and your unchanging faith among the saints.
6 BOEIPA neh khomong dongah unim aka tluk tih vaan hlang khuiah BOEIPA te u long nim a puet?
For who is there in the heavens in comparison with the Lord? who is like the Lord among the sons of the gods?
7 Pathen taengah tah, boeiping hlangcim kah baecenol nen khaw a sarhing pai. Te dongah a kaepvai boeih lakah a rhih om pai.
God is greatly to be feared among the saints, and to be honoured over all those who are about him.
8 Caempuei Pathen, BOEIPA namah bangla unim aka om? BOEIPA tah tlung tih na kaepvai ah na uepomnah om.
O Lord God of armies, who is strong like you, O Jah? and your unchanging faith is round about you.
9 Tuitunli kah a hoemdamnah te aka taemrhai khaw namah ni. Tuilae a thoh vaengah amih te na domyok sak.
You have rule over the sea in storm; when its waves are troubled, you make them calm.
10 Nang loh Rahab na ngawn bangla na bantha neh na phop tih na thunkha rhoek te na sarhi neh na yaal.
Rahab was crushed by you like one wounded to death; with your strong arm you put to flight all your haters.
11 Vaan rhoek khaw nang kah, diklai khaw nang kah bal. Lunglai neh anih dongkah aka om boeih namah loh na suen.
Yours are the heavens, and the earth is yours; you have made the world, and everything which is in it.
12 Tlangpuei neh bantang khaw namah loh na suen. Tabor neh Hermon loh na ming neh tamhoe rhoi.
You have made the north and the south; Tabor and Hermon are sounding with joy at your name.
13 Na ban te thayung thamal sai tih na kut khaw tanglue. Te dongah na bantang kut tah a pomsang.
Yours is an arm of power; strong is your hand and high your right hand.
14 Na ngolkhoel hmuen la duengnah neh tiktamnah om tih sitlohnah neh oltak loh na hmai ah n'doe.
The seat of your kingdom is resting on righteousness and right judging: mercy and good faith come before your face.
15 BOEIPA kah tamlung aka ming tih na mikhmuh kah vangnah khuiah aka pongpa pilnam tah a yoethen pai saeh.
Happy are the people who have knowledge of the holy cry: the light of your face, O Lord, will be shining on their way.
16 Na ming neh hnin takuem omngaih uh tih na duengnah neh pomsang uh.
In your name will they have joy all the day: in your righteousness will they be lifted up.
17 Amih kah boeimangnah sarhi la nang na om dongah na kolonah neh ka ki khaw na pomsang rhoela na pomsang coeng.
For you are the glory of their strength; in your pleasure will our horn be lifted up.
18 BOEIPA tah kaimih kah photling, Israel kah a cim, kaimih kah manghai ni.
For our breastplate is the Lord; and our king is the Holy One of Israel's.
19 Saivai atah, na hlangcim rhoek te mangthui neh na voek tih, “Pilnam khui lamkah ka coelh hlangrhalh taengah bomkung ka mop pah tih ka pomsang coeng.
Then your voice came to your holy one in a vision, saying, I have put the crown on a strong one, lifting up one taken from among the people.
20 Ka sal David te ka hmuh coeng tih kamah kah situi cim neh ka koelh coeng.
I have made discovery of David my servant; I have put my holy oil on his head.
21 Ka kut te anih taengah tawn uh tih ka ban loh anih a thoh ni.
My hand will be his support; my arm will give him strength.
22 Anih te thunkha loh phae pawt vetih dumlai ca long khaw phaep mahpawh.
The deceit of those who are against him will not overcome him; he will not be troubled by the sons of evil.
23 Tedae a rhal te anih mikhmuh ah ka phop pah vetih a lunguet khaw ka vuek pah ni.
I will have those who are against him broken before his face, and his haters will be crushed under my blows.
24 Te vaengah anih taengah kai kah uepomnah neh sitlohnah om vetih ka ming neh a ki khaw pomsang uh ni.
But my faith and my mercy will be with him; and in my name will his horn be lifted up.
25 A kut te tuitunli soah, a bantang kut te tuiva rhoek soah ka khueh pah ni.
I will put his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
26 Anih loh kai te, “Nang tah ka napa, ka Pathen neh kai ham khangnah lungpang,” lan'khue ni.
He will say to me, You are my father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.
27 Kai long khaw anih te caming omthang neh diklai manghai rhoek kah a sangkoek la ka khueh ni.
And I will make him the first of my sons, most high over the kings of the earth.
28 Kamah kah sitlohnah te anih ham kumhal duela ka ngaithuen rhoe ka ngaithuen pah vetih, ka paipi he anih taengah cak ni.
I will keep my mercy for him for ever; my agreement with him will not be changed.
29 Te dongah a tiingan te a yoeyah la ka thoh pah vetih a ngolkhoel loh vaan khohnin bangla om ni.
His seed will keep their place for ever; his kingdom will be eternal, like the heavens.
30 A ca rhoek loh ka olkhueng he a hnoo uh tih ka tiktamnah dongah a pongpa uh pawt atah,
If his children give up my law, and are not ruled by my decisions;
31 ka khosing te a poeih uh tih ka olpaek te a ngaithuen uh pawt atah,
If my rules are broken, and my orders are not kept;
32 amih kah boekoek te mancai neh, amih thaesainah te khaw tlohthae neh ka cawh thil van ni.
Then I will send punishment on them for their sin; my rod will be the reward of their evil-doing.
33 Tedae ka sitlohnah he anih taeng lamloh ka phae pah pawt vetih ka uepomnah te rhi ka lat pah mahpawh.
But I will not take away my mercy from him, and will not be false to my faith.
34 Ka paipi he ka poeih pawt vetih ka hmui lamkah aka thoeng khaw ka thovael mahpawh.
I will be true to my agreement; the things which have gone out of my lips will not be changed.
35 Ka cimcaihnah neh vai ka toemngam tangtae te David taengah khaw ka laithae mahpawh.
I have made an oath once by my holy name, that I will not be false to David.
36 Anih kah tiingan te kumhal duela om vetih a ngolkhoel loh kai hmaiah khomik bangla om ni.
His seed will not come to an end for ever; the seat of his kingdom will be like the sun before me.
37 Hl a bangla kumhal ah cikngae vetih khomong soah uepom laipai la om ni,” na ti. (Selah)
It will be fixed for ever like the moon; and the witness in heaven is true. (Selah)
38 Tedae na hlahpham tih na hnawt coeng dongah na koelh hlang te na poe.
But you have put him away in disgust; you have been angry with the king of your selection.
39 Na salpa kah paipi te na hai tih a rhuisam khaw diklai neh na poeih pah.
You have made your agreement with your servant of no effect: you have had no respect for his crown, it has come down even to the earth.
40 Anih kah tanglung khaw boeih na phae pah tih a hmuencak rhoek khaw porhaknah la na khueh pah.
All his walls are broken down; you have given his strong towers to destruction.
41 Longpuei kah aka pongpa boeih loh anih te a rheth uh dongah a imben rhoek kah kokhahnah coeng.
All those who come by take away his goods; he is laughed at by his neighbours.
42 A rhal rhoek kah bantang kut te na pomsang pah tih a thunkha boeih kah ko na hoe sak.
You have given power to the right hand of his haters; you have made glad all those who are against him.
43 A cunghang taeh khaw na kolong pah sak tih caemtloek vaengah khaw na duel pawh.
His sword is turned back; you have not been his support in the fight.
44 A caihcilnah te na kangkuen sak tih a ngolkhoel te diklai la na voeih pah.
You have put an end to his glory: the seat of his kingdom has been levelled to the earth.
45 A cacawn tue na rhaem pah tih, yah neh na thing. (Selah)
You have made him old before his time; he is covered with shame. (Selah)
46 BOEIPA nang mevaeng hil nim na thuh uh vetih, na kosi loh hmai bangla a yoeyah la rhong ve?
How long, O Lord, will you Keep yourself for ever from our eyes? how long will your wrath be burning like fire?
47 Hlang ca rhoek boeih na suen he a poeyoek mai la. Te dongah mebang khosaknah dongah khaw kai he m'poek lah.
See how short my time is; why have you made all men for no purpose?
48 Mebang hlang nim aka hing tih dueknah hmuh pawt ham, saelkhui kut lamkah a hinglu te aka poeng aka hal thai? (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
What man now living will not see death? will he be able to keep back his soul from the underworld? (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
49 Ka Boeipa aw, lamhma kah na sitlohnah te ta? David taengah na uepomnah neh na toemngam te.
Lord, where are your earlier mercies? where is the oath which you made to David in unchanging faith?
50 Ka Boeipa aw na sal sokah kokhahnah he poek lah. Pilnam kah tuituknah boeih he ka kodang ah ka phueih he.
Keep in mind, O Lord, the shame of your servants, and how the bitter words of all the people have come into my heart;
51 BOEIPA aw, na thunkha rhoek loh m'veet uh coeng te, na koelh hlang kah kholaeh khaw a veet uh coeng te.
The bitter words of your haters, O Lord, shaming the footsteps of your king.
52 BOEIPA tah kumhal duela a yoethen pai. Amen phoeiah Amen.
Let the Lord be praised for ever. So be it, So be it.
