1 Benjamin capa Kusah kah olka kongah BOEIPA taengah a hlai David kah Omdamlaa Ka BOEIPA Pathen, namah dongah ka ying. Kai aka hloem rhoek boeih taeng lamkah kai n'khang lamtah kai n'huul dae.
Ode of David: which he sang unto Yahweh, on account of the words of Cush the Benjamite. O Yahweh my God, in thee, have I sought refuge, —Save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me:
2 Sathueng bangla ka hinglu he pat a ngaeh vetih, aka huul om pawt ve.
Lest one tear, as a lion, my soul, —and there be no deliverer to rescue.
3 Ka BOEIPA Pathen, hekah he ka saii mai tih, ka kut ah dumlai om mai ni.
O Yahweh my God, If I have done this, If there hath been perversity in my hands:
4 Kai aka thuung te a thae la ka thuung tih, lunglilungla la kai aka daengdaeh te ka rheth atah,
If I have requited my friend with wrong, —or have oppressed mine adversary without need,
5 Ka hinglu he thunkha thunghling loh han hloem tih n'kae vaengah, ka hingnah he diklai ah taelh uh saeh lamtah, kai kah thangpomnah khaw, laipi khuila khueh saeh. (Selah)
Let an enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it, that he may tread down, to the earth, my life, —and, mine honour—in the dust, he may cause to dwell. (Selah)
6 Thoo lah BOEIPA kai taengah aka daengdaeh thinpom rhoek he, na thintoek neh pai thil lah. Haenghang lamtah, kai ham tiktamnah uen lah.
Rise! Yahweh! in thine anger, Lift thyself up, because of the haughty outbursts of mine adversaries, Stir up for me the justice thou hast commanded:
7 Te dongah namtu rhaengpuei loh, namah m'vael saeh lamtah, amih te hmuen sang lamkahngol thil.
When, the assembly of peoples, gather round thee, then, above it—on high, do thou return!
8 BOEIPA loh pilnam rhoek ke laitloek pah saeh. Ka duengnah neh ka thincaknah vanbangla, ka lai han tloek lah BOEIPA.
Yahweh, will judge the peoples, —Do me justice, O Yahweh, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity upon me,
9 Halang rhoek kah boethae tah paltham suidae aka dueng te na cak sak. Te dongah duengnah Pathen loh lungbuei neh kuel ni a loepdak.
Let the wrong of the lawless, I pray thee, come to an end, and establish thou him that is righteous, —for, a trier of hearts and reins, is God the righteous one.
10 Lungbuei aka thuem kah khangkung Pathen tah kai kah photling ni.
My shield, is held by God, who is ready to save the upright in heart:
11 Pathen he a dueng la lai a tloek neh khohnin takuem ah kosi aka sah Pathen ni.
A God to vindicate the righteous, —And yet a God to be indignant throughout every day.
12 Yut pawt koinih a cunghang khaw a tah vetih, a lii khaw a phuk vetih a nuen ni.
If he turn not, his sword, will he whet, —his bow, hath he bent, and made ready:
13 Te dongah amah ham dueknah tubael a tawn tih thaltang aka alh te a saii.
But, for himself, hath he made ready the weapons so deadly, His arrows, he, so fiery, would make:
14 Boethae te a yom tih thakthaenah la a vawn dongah a hong a hi ni a cun coeng ke.
Lo! he gendereth trouble, and conceiveth mischief, but giveth birth to a disappointment:
15 Vaam te a vueh tih a too dae amah loh a saii vaam khuiah amah cungku.
A pit, he cut out, and digged it, and then fell into the ditch he had made:
16 A thakthaenah te a lu dongla mael vetih a kah kuthlahnah khaw a luki ah suntla ni.
His mischief, turneth back, on his own head, —and, on his own crown, his violence, descendeth.
17 BOEIPA kah a duengnah te ka uem vetih Khohni BOEIPA ming te ka tingtoeng ni.
I will praise Yahweh according to his righteousness, —and will praise in song the Name of Yahweh Most High.
