1 Aka mawt ham David kah tingtoeng laa Pathen he thoo vetih a thunkha rhoek taekyak uh mako. A lunguet rhoek khaw a mikhmuh lamkah rhaelrham uh mako.
“To the chief musician, by David, a Psalm or song.” Oh that God would arise, that his enemies might be scattered, and those that hate him might flee before him.
2 Halang rhoek he Pathen hmai ah hmaikhu a yah bangla na yah vetih, hmai hmai ah khoirhat a paci bangla milh uh saeh.
As smoke is driven off, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 Tedae hlang dueng rhoek tah kohoenah neh Pathen hmai ah a sundaep neh a kohoe uh saeh lamtah ngaingaih uh saeh.
But the righteous shall rejoice; they shall exult before God: yea, they shall be exceedingly joyful.
4 Pathen te hlai lamtah a ming te tingtoeng uh lah. Vaan kolken dongah aka ngol BOEIPA ming te pomsang uh lamtah a hmai ah sundaep uh.
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name; extol him who rideth upon the heavens: the Everlasting is his name, and rejoice before him.
5 Amah kah khuirhung hmuencim ah aka om Pathen tah cadah rhoek kah a napa neh nuhmai rhoek kah laitloekkung la om.
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
6 Pathen loh oingaih cangloeng te imlo neh kho a sak sak tih thongtla rhoek te lolmangcil neh a khuen. Tedae thinthah rhoek tah rhamrhae ah kho a sakuh.
God places those who are solitary in the midst of their families: he bringeth out those who are bound unto happiness; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
7 Pathen aw na pilnam hmai ah na caeh vaengah, khopong la na luei vaengah. (Selah)
O God, when thou didst go forth before thy people, when thou didst tread along through the wilderness—Selah—
8 Israel Pathen, Pathen hmai ah, Sinai Pathen hmai ah, diklai he hinghuen tih vaan khaw cip.
The earth quaked, also the heavens dropped at the presence of God, yea, this Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Pathen namah loh kothoh khonal nan suep tih thahnoeng khaw na rho neh na thoh.
Rain of beneficence didst thou pour down, O God, whereby thou didst truly strengthen thy heritage, when it was weary.
10 Pathen nang loh mangdaeng ham na hnothen te na soepboe pah tih a khuiah na hingnah loh kho a sakuh.
Thy assembly dwelt therein: thou didst prepare it with thy goodness for the afflicted [people]. O God,
11 Ka Boeipa loh a olkhueh te a paek tih olthangthen aka phong caempuei khaw len.
The Lord gave [happy] tidings; they are published by the female messengers, a numerous host.
12 Manghai rhoek kah caempuei loh yong rhoela yong uh tih im kah toitlim te kutbuem la a tael.
The kings of the armies flee away—flee away: yet she that tarried at home divideth the spoil.
13 Tuvong ah na yalh uh vaengkah te, cak neh a hluk vahui phae, sui hing neh a hluk phaemul van pawn ni.
When ye lie still between the folds [of your cattle], [ye will be like] the wings of the dove covered with sliver, and her pinions shining with flaming gold.
14 Tlungthang Pathen loh a khuikah manghai rhoek a taek a yak vaengah Zalmon ah vuel bo.
When the Almighty scattered kings in the midst of her, then even in darkness shone light [as pure] as snow.
15 Pathen kah tlang, Bashan tlang, Bashan tlang kah tlang som rhoek,
A mountain of God is the mount of Bashan; many peaks hath the mount of Bashan.
16 Ba dongah tlang som rhoek loh na pangoe uh. Te kah tlang te Pathen Amah loh khosak thil ham a nai tih BOEIPA loh yoeyah la kho a sak thil ni.
Why watch ye enviously, ye many-peaked mountains, yonder mountain which God hath chosen for his residence? yea, the Lord will also dwell [there] for ever.
17 Pathen kah leng tah a rhaepnah thawng thawngrha lo. Hmuencim kah aka om Sinai kah amih lakli ah Boeipa om.
The chariots of God are two myriads; thousands of angels [follow him]: the Lord is among them: so is Sinai holy [among mountains].
18 Hmuen sang la na luei tih tamna rhoek na sol vaengah BOEIPA Pathen namah loh khosak puei ham hlang taeng neh thinthah rhoek taengkah kutdoe pataeng na doe.
Thou didst ascend on high, lead away captives, receive gifts among men, yea, even the rebellious, to dwell among them. O Lord God.
19 Ka Boeipa tah a hnin, hnin ah a yoethen pai saeh. Mamih kah khangnah Pathen tah mamih ham thinrhih coeng. (Selah)
Blessed be the Lord; day by day he loadeth us [with benefits]; our God is our salvation. (Selah)
20 Mamih kah Pathen tah khangnah Pathen la om tih, ka Boeipa Yahovah taengah dueknah lamkah longrhael khaw om.
Our God is to us the God of salvation: and by the Eternal the Lord are the escapes from death.
21 Amah kah tholhnah neh aka pongpa tah Pathen loh thunkha lu bangla a luki sam soah a phop ni.
But God will crush the head of his enemies, the hairy skull of him who walketh in his guiltiness.
22 Ka Boeipa loh, “Bashan lamkah kam bal puei vetih tuitunli kah a laedil lamkah kam mael puei ni.
The Lord hath said, From Bashan will I bring back, I will bring back from the depths of the sea:
23 Te vaengah thunkha lamkah thii na kho na nuem thil, te na ui rhoek loh a lai neh a laeh uh vetih amih kah rhuimal khaw na pang uh ni,” a ti.
In order that thou mayest wade with thy feet in blood, feeding the tongue of thy dogs from the enemies' blood.
24 Pathen namah kah lambong rhoek, ka Pathen, ka manghai kah lambong rhoek loh hmuencim la a khong uh te a hmuh uh coeng.
Men see thy goings forth, O God! the goings forth of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
25 Laa sa rhoek loh lamhma uh tih a hnukthoi loh a tumbael a tum, a laklung kah hula rhoek loh toemrhang a tum uh.
First come singers, then follow players on instruments, in the midst of maidens playing on timbrels.
26 Pathen te khangkhung lakli ah, BOEIPA te Israel thunsih ah uem lah.
In assemblies bless ye God, [praise] the Lord, ye sprung from Israel's fountain.
27 Canoi Benjamin loh Judah mangpa hlangkuk rhoek, Zebulun mangpa rhoek, Naphtali mangpa rhoek te a taemrhai.
There Benjamin the youngest leadeth them on, the princes of Judah in purple robes, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
28 Pathen namah loh na sarhi te uen lamtah kaimih ham na saii bangla Pathen namah te mah tanglue lah.
Thy God hath ordained the rule to thee: strengthen, O God, what thou hast wrought for us.
29 Na bawkim rhang neh manghai rhoek loh nang ham kutdoe te Jerusalem la hang khuen uh ni.
Because of thy temple over Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
30 Capu mulhing ke tluung lah. Pilnam saelca rhoek neh aka lueng rhaengpuei khaw cak boeng neh a san thil. Caemrhal aka ngaih pilnam rhoek khaw a haeh.
Rebuke the wild beasts hiding among the reeds, the troops of steers among the calves of nations, that hasten along with presents of silver. He scattereth nations that are eager for the fight.
31 Egypt lamkah laipai rhoek halo uh ni. Kusah loh Pathen taengah a kut a duen ni.
Nobles will come out of Egypt: Ethiopia will stretch forth eagerly her hands unto God.
32 Diklai ram rhoek loh Pathen te hlai uh lamtah ka Boeipa te tingtoeng uh. (Selah)
Kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God; sing praises unto the Lord: (Selah)
33 Hlamat lamkah vaan dong vaan dongah aka ngol loh a ol neh sarhi ol a paek coeng ke.
To him who rideth over the highest heavens, of ancient days: hear! he sendeth forth his voice, the voice of might.
34 Pathen kah sarhi te doek uh lah. A hoemnah neh khomong dongkah a sarhi tah Israel soah om.
Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the skies.
35 Pathen namah kah rhokso ah a rhih om pai. Israel Pathen amah loh pilnam taengah sarhi neh thadueng a paek. Pathen tah a yoethen pai saeh.
Thou art tremendous, O God, from thy holy residences: O God of Israel, [thou art] he that givest strength and power unto [thy] people. Blessed be God.
