< Tingtoeng 52 >
1 Edom Doeg loh cet tih Saul la, “David te Ahimelek im la cet coeng,” a ti nah tih a puen vaengkah, aka mawt ham David kah hlohlai. Hlangrhalh nang loh boethae neh bahamlae na thangthen uh. Pathen kah sitlohnah he hnin takuem ah cak.
“To the chief musician, a Maskil of David, When Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him, David is come to the house of Achimelech.” What vauntest thou thyself of wickedness, O mighty man? the kindness of God endureth all the time.
2 Na lai loh a talnah a moeh. Palyal neh paihat bangla haat tih a hlueng.
Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs, like a sharpened razor, thou worker of deceit.
3 Hno then lakah boethae na lungnah. Duengnah lakah a honghi te na thui. (Selah)
Thou lovest evil more than good; falsehood more than speaking righteousness. (Selah)
4 Hlangthai palat kah a lai loh dolhnah ol boeih te a lungnah.
Thou lovest all words of destruction, the tongue of deceit.
5 Te cakhaw Pathen loh nang te a yoeyah la m'voeih vetih, nang te m'poep ni. Te vaengah dap khui lamkah nang te m'phuk vetih, mulhing rhoek kah khohmuen lamloh nang m'phuk ni.
[Therefore] God will also destroy thee for ever: he will take thee away, and pluck thee out of his tent, and root thee out of the land of life. (Selah)
6 Tedae aka dueng rhoek loh a hmuh uh vaengah a rhih uh vetih anih te,
And the righteous shall see it, and they will be afraid, and laugh concerning him:
7 “Hlang khaw ke, Pathen vik amah kah lunghim la khueh pawt tih a khuehtawn cangpai dongah pangtung tih a talnah neh tanglue,” tila a nueih thiluh.
“Lo, this is the man that made not God his fortress; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, relied proudly on his mischievous wickedness.”
8 Tedae kai tah Pathen im kah olive thinghing bangla kumhal ah Pathen kah sitlohnah te ka pangtung yoeyah.
But I am like a green olive-tree in the house of God: I trust in the kindness of God for ever and ever.
9 Namah loh na saii coeng dongah kumhal ah nang kan uem vetih na then dongah na ming te na hlangcim rhoek hmuh ah ka lamtawn ni.
I will thank thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name, for [it is] good, before thy pious ones.
