1 Aw Pathen kai n'tang sak lamtah hlangcim pawh namtu neh tuituknah te oelh lah. Hlangthai palat neh dumlai hlang kut lamloh kai n'hlawt lah.

Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

2 Pathen namah ngawntah ka lunghim pai ni. Ba ham lae kai nan hlahpham? Thunkha kah haemtaek dongah ba ham lae kopang neh ka van eh?

For you are the God of my strength: why do you cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

3 Na khosae neh na oltak te han tueih lah. Amih loh na tlang cim neh na tolhmuen la kai m'mawt saeh lamtah n'thak saeh.

O send out your light and your truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto your holy hill, and to your tabernacles.

4 Tedae Pathen kah hmueihtuk taengah khaw, Pathen taengah kohoenah neh omngaihnah la ka pha vaengah rhotoeng neh Pathen nang te kan uem bitni ka Pathen aw.

Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise you, O God my God.

5 Aw ka hinglu badongah na ngam sut tih ka khuiah huenghueng na ko? Pathen te ngaiuep lah. Ka hmai kah khangnah neh ka Pathen amah te ka uem dae lah mako?

Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
