< Tingtoeng 2 >
1 Ba ham lae namtom rhoek khopo uh tih a poeyoek la namtu te a taeng uh?
Wherefore have nations assembled in tumult? Or should, peoples, mutter an empty thing?
2 Diklai manghai rhoek boeica rhoek loh thikat la tingtun uh, BOEIPA nehBOEIPAamah kah Messiah te a pai thil uh tih,
The kings of earth take their station, and, grave men, have met by appointment together, —against Yahweh, and against his Anointed One [saying]:
3 “Amih kah kuelrhui te bawt uh sih lamtah, mamih pum kah rhuivaeh voeih pa sih,” a ti uh.
Let us break asunder their bonds, —and cast from us their cords!
4 Vaan ah aka ngol Boeipa loh amih te a nueih thil tih, a tamdaeng,
He that sitteth in the heavens, will laugh, —My Lord, will mock at them:
5 Te vaengah A thintoek neh amih te a voek tih a thinsa neh amih te a let sak.
Then, will he speak unto them in his anger, and, in his wrath, confound them:
6 Te dongah kai loh kamah kah manghai te kamah kah Zion tlang cim ah ka hol coeng,” a ti.
Yet, I, have installed my king, —on Zion my holy mountain.
7 BOEIPA loh kai taengah, “Nang tah kamah ca ni, Tihnin ah kai loh nang kan sak,” a ti oltlueh te ka doek ni.
Let me tell of a decree, —Yahweh, hath said unto me, My son, thou art, I, to-day, have begotten thee:
8 Kai taengah ham bih lamtah namtom boeih te na rho la kam paek vetih na khohut loh kho bawt kho le a pha ni.
Ask of me, and let me give nations as thine inheritance, and, as thy possession, the ends of the earth:
9 Amih te thi caitueng neh na talh vetih, amsai kah hnopai bangla amih te na phop ni.
Thou shalt shepherd them with a sceptre of iron, —as a potter’s vessel, shalt thou dash them in pieces.
10 Te dongah manghai rhoek lungming la om uh saeh. Diklai laitloek rhoek toel uh laeh.
Now, therefore, ye kings, show your prudence, Be admonished, ye judges of earth:
11 BOEIPA te hinyahnah neh, omngaih neh, thuennah neh thothueng uh.
Serve Yahweh with reverence, and exult with trembling:
12 A capa te mok pah, a thintoek ve, Mikpalap kah a thintoek loh n'dom vetih longpueng ah na milh ve. Anih dongah aka kuep boeih tah a yoethen.
Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish by the way, for soon might be kindled his anger, —How happy are all who seek refuge in him!
