1 BOEIPA te thangthen uh. Ka hinglu aw BOEIPA te thangthen lah.

Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

2 Ka hingnah neh BOEIPA ka thangthen vetih ka om rhuet vaengah ka Pathen te ka tingtoeng ni.

While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises to my God while I have any being.

3 Hlang koca khuikah hlangcong dongah pangtung uh boeh. Anih dongah te khangnah a om moenih.

Put not your trust in princes, [nor] in the son of man, in whom [there is] no help.

4 A mueihla te nong vetih amah te diklai la mael ni. Tekah khohnin ah a poeknah khaw paltham.

His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

5 Jakob Pathen te amah kah bomkung la a khueh tih BOEIPA a Pathen dongah a ngaiuepnah aka khueh tah a yoethen.

Happy [is he] that [hath] the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope [is] in the LORD his God:

6 Vaan neh diklai, tuitunli neh a khuiah boeih aka saii loh kumhal due oltak la om.

Who made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that [is] in them: who keepeth truth for ever:

7 A hnaemtaek kah laitloeknah a saii pah. Bungpong rhoek ham buh a paek tih a khih uh te khaw BOEIPA loh a hlah.

Who executeth judgment for the oppressed: who giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

8 BOEIPA loh mikdael khaw mik a tueng sak. BOEIPA loh duengyai a sambai. BOEIPA loh aka dueng a lungnah.

The LORD openeth [the eyes of] the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:

9 BOEIPA loh yinlai te a ngaithuen tih cadah neh nuhmai a tungaep. Tedae halang rhoek kah longpuei tah a khun pah.

The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

10 Zion nang kah Pathen BOEIPA kumhal duela manghai coeng. Cadilcahma phoeikah cadilcahma ham BOEIPA te thangthen uh.

The LORD will reign for ever, [even] thy God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
