1 Tangtlaeng Laa Aw BOEIPA David ham a phaep pah te boeih poek pah.
A song of degrees. Lord, remember Dauid with all his affliction.
2 BOEIPA taengah a caeng tih Jakob samrhang taengah khaw a caeng coeng.
Who sware vnto the Lord, and vowed vnto the mightie God of Iaakob, saying,
3 Ka dap im khuila ka pawk pawt vetih ka soengca rhaenghmuen khaw ka paan mahpawh.
I will not enter into the tabernacle of mine house, nor come vpon my pallet or bed,
4 Ka mik te ih sak ham, ka mikkhu te ngam sak ham ka pae mahpawh.
Nor suffer mine eyes to sleepe, nor mine eye lids to slumber,
5 BOEIPA ham a hmuen neh Jakob kah samrhang ham tolhmuen ka hmuh duela.
Vntill I finde out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mightie God of Iaakob.
6 Khohmuen duup ah m'hmuh te Epharath ah khaw n'yaak uh coeng.
Lo, we heard of it in Ephrathah, and found it in the fieldes of the forest.
7 A tolhmuen la cet uh sih lamtah a kho kah khotloeng taengah bawk uh sih.
We will enter into his Tabernacles, and worship before his footestoole.
8 Aw BOEIPA nang na duemnah neh na sarhi thingkawng taengah thoo lah.
Arise, O Lord, to come into thy rest, thou, and the Arke of thy strength.
9 Na khosoih rhoek loh duengnah bai uh saeh lamtah na hlangcim rhoek loh tamhoe uh saeh.
Let thy Priests be clothed with righteousnesse, and let thy Saints reioyce.
10 Na sal David ham tah na koelh kah maelhmai te na mangthuung tak moenih.
For thy seruant Dauids sake refuse not the face of thine Anointed.
11 BOEIPA loh David taengah oltak la a caeng coeng. Na bungko thaihtae lamkah khaw te lamloh mael pawt vetih nang ham ngolkhoel soah kang khueh bitni.
The Lord hath sworne in trueth vnto Dauid, and he wil not shrinke from it, saying, Of the fruite of thy body will I set vpon thy throne.
12 Ka paipi neh amih ka tukkil ka olphong te na ca rhoek loh a ngaithuen uh atah a ca rhoek khaw na ngolkhoel dongah a yoeyah la ngol uh ni.
If thy sonnes keepe my couenant, and my testimonies, that I shall teach them, their sonnes also shall sit vpon thy throne for euer.
13 BOEIPA loh Zion te a coelh tih amah tolrhum la a sahnaih thil.
For the Lord hath chosen Zion, and loued to dwell in it, saying,
14 Ka duemnah he ka sahnaih coeng dongah a yoeyah la pahoi ka ngol thil ni.
This is my rest for euer: here will I dwell, for I haue a delite therein.
15 A sakah te ka uem ka uem pah vetih a khuikah khodaeng rhoek te buh ka cung sak ni.
I will surely blesse her vitailes, and will satisfie her poore with bread,
16 Te vaengah a khosoih rhoek te khangnah ka bai sak vetih a hlangcim rhoek loh tamhoe la tamhoe uh ni.
And will clothe her Priests with saluation, and her Saints shall shoute for ioye.
17 David ham ki pahoi ka cawn sak vetih ka koelh ham hmaithoi ka tok pah ni.
There will I make the horne of Dauid to bud: for I haue ordeined a light for mine Anoynted.
18 A thunkha rhoek te yahpohnah ka bai sak vetih anih te a rhuisam neh ka khooi sak ni.
His enemies will I clothe with shame, but on him his crowne shall florish.
