1 BOEIPA te thangthen uh. BOEIPA kah a sal rhoek loh thangthen uh. BOEIPA ming te thangthen uh.

Alleluia. Praise the Lord, ye servants [of his], praise, the name of the Lord.

2 BOEIPA ming he tahae lamkah kumhal due khaw om saeh lamtah a yoethen pai saeh.

Let the name of the Lord be blessed, from this present time and for ever.

3 Khocuk lamkah a khotlak duela BOEIPA ming tah thangthen pai saeh.

From the rising of the sun to his setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised.

4 BOEIPA tah namtom boeih soah, a thangpomnah khaw vaan rhoek soah a pomsang pai.

The Lord is high above all the nations; his glory is above the heavens.

5 Mamih kah Pathen BOEIPA bangla unim a sang la aka ngol?

Who is as the Lord our God? who dwells in the high places,

6 Vaan neh diklai sawt hamla aka buluk tih,

and [yet] looks upon the low things in heaven, and on the earth:

7 tattloel te laipi lamkah aka thoh tih natva lamkah khodaeng khaw,

who lifts up the poor from the earth, and raises up the needy from the dunghill;

8 a pilnam kah hlangcong rhoek taengah hlangcong rhoek neh ngol sak ham a pomsang.

to set him with princes, [even] with the princes of his people:

9 Caya khaw imkhui ah camoe rhoek kah a manu la kho aka sa taengah a kohoe pai saeh. BOEIPA tah thangthen uh.

who settles the barren [woman] in a house, [as] a mother rejoicing over children.
