1 Aw ka hinglu, BOEIPA te uem lah. Ka BOEIPA Pathen namah tah na sang tangkik tih mueithennah neh rhuepomnah te na bai.
Bless Jehovah, O my soul! Jehovah my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with majesty and splendour;
2 Khosae neh himbai bangla muelh aka thing uh himbaiyan bangla vaan ah dup aka phaih,
Covering thyself with light as with a garment, stretching out the heavens like a tent-curtain; —
3 A imhman te tui soah aka ci, khomai te leng la aka saii, khohli phae neh aka cet,
Who layeth the beams of his upper chambers in the waters, who maketh clouds his chariot, who walketh upon the wings of the wind;
4 khohli te a puencawn la aka saii tih hmai tak aka tueih loh,
Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flame of fire.
5 diklai khaw amah hmuen ah a suen tih kumhal ah tuen yoeyah pawh.
He laid the earth upon its foundations: it shall not be removed for ever.
6 Anih te tuidung neh pueinak bangla na khuk tih tui rhoek loh tlang rhoek soah pai uh.
Thou hadst covered it with the deep, as with a vesture; the waters stood above the mountains:
7 Namah kah tluungnah dongah rhaelrham uh tih na khohum ol dongah tamto uh.
At thy rebuke they fled, at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away; —
8 Tlang tom a lan uh tih amih ham na suen kolbawn hmuen la suntla uh.
The mountains rose, the valleys sank, unto the place which thou hadst founded for them; —
9 Khorhi na suem te a poe uh thai pawt dongah diklai khuk ham ha mael uh thai pawh.
Thou hast set a bound which they may not pass over, that they turn not again to cover the earth.
10 Tuisih rhoek te soklong la a loei tlang rhoek laklo ah long uh.
He sendeth the springs into the valleys: they run among the mountains;
11 Kohong kah mulhing boeih te tui a tul uh tih kohong marhang rhoek khaw a tuihalh dip uh.
They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild asses quench their thirst.
12 A taengah vaan kah vaa loh kho a sak uh tih thingsam laklo ah a ol huphup loei.
The birds of heaven dwell by them; they give forth their voice from among the branches.
13 Tlang boeih te a imhman lamkah aka suep, BOEIPAnamah kah kutci loh diklai te a hah sak.
He watereth the mountains from his upper-chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
14 Rhamsa ham sulrham poe tih, hlang kah thohtatnah hamla baelhing neh, diklai lamkah buh na thoeng sak.
He maketh the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man; bringing forth bread out of the earth,
15 Te dongah misurtui loh hlanghing thinko ko a hoe sak, situi loh maelhmai a hlampan sak tih buh loh hlanghing thinko a duel.
And wine which gladdeneth the heart of man; making [his] face shine with oil; and with bread he strengtheneth man's heart.
16 BOEIPA loh a ling thingkung, Lebanon kah lamphai te a kum sakuh.
The trees of Jehovah are satisfied, the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted,
17 Teah te vaa loh bu a tuk tih, bungrho loh hmaical dongah a im a khueh.
Where the birds make their nests; [as for] the stork, the fir trees are her house.
18 Tlang sang boeih te sathai ham om tih, pango boeih khaw saphih ham hlipyingnah la om.
The high mountains are for the wild goats; the cliffs, a refuge for the rock-badgers.
19 Khoning ham hla a saii tih khomik loh a khotlak khaw a ming.
He made the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth its going down.
20 Khohmuep na khueh tih khoyin ha pawk vaengah duup kah mulhing boeih loh a khuiah yuel uh.
Thou makest darkness, and it is night, wherein all the beasts of the forest creep forth:
21 Maeh te sathueng rhoek loh a kawk thil uh tih a caak te Pathen taengah a tlap uh.
The young lions roar after the prey, and to seek their food from God.
22 Khomik a thoeng neh vawl khoem uh tih a khuisaek la kol uh.
The sun ariseth, they retreat, and lay them down in their dens.
23 Hlang he a bisai ham neh a thohtatnah la kholaeh hil cet.
Man goeth forth unto his work, and to his labour until the evening.
24 BOEIPA nang kah kutngo he yet tangkik. Te rhoek boeih te cueihnah nen ni na saii. Na hnopai rhoemah diklai ah baetawt coeng.
How manifold are thy works, O Jehovah! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
25 Tuitunli aka len tih a dang, aka dangka ah, rhulcai mulhing a yit a len tae lek pawt la om bal.
Yonder is the great and wide sea: therein are moving things innumerable, living creatures small and great.
26 Teah te sangpho rhoek loh pongpa uh tih a khuiah aka luem ham Leviathan te na saii.
There go the ships; [there] that leviathan, which thou hast formed to play therein.
27 A tuetang vaengah amih caak paek ham khaw amih loh namah taengla boeih lamso uh.
These all look unto thee, that thou mayest give their food in its season:
28 Amih taengah na paek te a rhuh uh. Na kut na hlam tih hnothen kum uh.
That thou givest unto them, they gather; thou openest thy hand, they are filled with good.
29 Na maelhmai na thuh vaengah let uh. A hil na khoem pah vaengah pal uh tih laipi la bal uh.
Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled; thou takest away their breath, they expire and return to their dust.
30 Na mueihla na tueih daengah anmih te suen uh tih diklai maelhmai khaw na tlaih pueng.
Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created, and thou renewest the face of the earth.
31 BOEIPA kah thangpomnah tah kumhal duela om tih, a bibi dongah BOEIPA a kohoe saeh.
The glory of Jehovah will endure for ever; Jehovah will rejoice in his works.
32 Diklai a paelki vaengah thuen tih, tlang rhoek te a taek vaengah khuu.
He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; he toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.
33 Ka hingnah neh BOEIPA te ka hlai vetih ka om rhuet vaengah ka Pathen te ka tingtoeng ni.
I will sing unto Jehovah as long as I live; I will sing psalms to my God while I have my being.
34 Ka olding he anih ham a lungtui saeh. Kai tah BOEIPA dongah ka kohoe coeng.
My meditation shall be pleasant unto him; I will rejoice in Jehovah.
35 Hlangtholh rhoek te diklai lamloh mitmoeng uh saeh lamtah halang rhoek khaw koep om boel saeh. Aw ka hinglu, BOEIPA tah a yoethen pai saeh tila BOEIPA te thangthen lah.
Sinners shall be consumed out of the earth, and the wicked shall be no more. Bless Jehovah, O my soul. Hallelujah!
