1 Solomon kah, Ca aka cueih loh a napa ko a hoe sak tih ca aka ang tah a manu a pha-ueknah la om.
The Proverbs of Solomon: A wise son, maketh a glad father, but, a foolish son, is the grief of his mother.
2 Halangnah kah thakvoh khaw hoeikhang tloe pawt tih, duengnah long tah dueknah lamloh a huul.
The treasures of lawlessness, do not profit, but, righteousness, delivereth from death.
3 Aka dueng kah hinglu tah BOEIPA loh a lamlum sak moenih, tedae halang kah a talnah te a thaek pah.
Yahweh, suffereth not to famish, the soul of the righteous, but, the desire of the lawless, he thrusteth away.
4 Palyal kut loh a saii tah vawtthoek tih, kut aka haam tah boei.
He becometh poor, who dealeth with a slack hand, but, the hand of the diligent, maketh rich.
5 Khohal ah aka yoep capa long tah a cangbam tih, cangah vaengah aka ip capa loh yah a bai.
He that gathereth in summer, is a prudent son, he that sleepeth long in harvest, is a son causing shame.

Blessings, are for the head of the righteous man, but, the mouth of the lawless, covereth up wrong.
7 Aka dueng poekkoepnah tah yoethennah la om dae, halang tah a ming pawn ni.
The memory of the righteous, yieldeth blessing, but, the name of the lawless, dieth out.
8 Lungbuei aka cueih loh olpaek te a doe tih, aka ang tah a hmui a lai a caehdoelh pah.
The wise in heart, will accept commandments, but, he that is foolish with his lips, shall be thrust away.
9 Thincaknah neh aka pongpa tah ngaikhuek la cet dae, a longpuei aka kawn sak khaw amah ming uh bitni.
He that walketh uprightly, may walk securely, but, he that maketh crooked his ways, shall be found out.
10 Mik neh aka mikhip loh nganboh a paek tih, aka ang tah a hmui a lai a caehdoelh pah.
He that winketh with the eye, causeth sorrow, and, he that is foolish with his lips, shall be thrust aside.
11 Aka dueng kah a ka tah hingnah thunsih la om tih, halang kah a ka loh kuthlahnah te a uep.
A well-spring of life, is the mouth of the righteous, but, the mouth of the lawless, covereth wrong.
12 Hmuhuetnah loh tingtoehnah a huek. Tedae lungnah long tah dumlai boeih a dah.
Hatred, stirreth up strifes, but, over all transgressions, love throweth a covering.
13 Hmuilai dongah aka yakming loh cueihnah a dang tih, lungbuei aka talh kah a nam ham rhuiboeng om.
In the lips of the intelligent, is found wisdom, but, a rod, is for the back of him that lacketh sense.
14 Aka cueih rhoek loh mingnah a khoem uh tih aka ang kah a ka tah a porhaknah yoei.
Wise men, treasure up knowledge, but, the mouth of the foolish, is a terror near at hand.
15 Khorha khuikah, hlanglen kah a boei a rhaeng tah amah kah a sarhi la om tih, a khodaeng te tattloel rhoek kah porhaknah la om.
The substance of the rich, is his strong city, the terror of the poor, is their poverty.
16 Aka dueng kah thaphu tah hingnah la om tih halang kah cangah tah tholhnah la poeh.
The labour of the righteous, [leadeth] to life, the increase of the lawless, to sin.
17 Thuituennah aka ngaithuen tah hingnah caehlong la pawk tih toelthamnah aka hnawt tah kho a hmang.
On the way to life, is he that heedeth correction, but, he that hateth reproof, is going astray.
18 Hmuhuetnah aka phah kah a hmuilai khaw a honghi la om tih, theetnah aka haeh khaw ang.
He that concealeth hatred, hath false lips, and he that sendeth forth slander, the same, is a dullard.
19 Olka a yet vaengah dumlai khaw a mueh moenih, tedae a hmuilai aka tuem ni lungming la a om.
In the multitude of words, there wanteth not transgression, but, he that restraineth his lips, sheweth prudence.
20 Aka dueng kah ol tah cak a coelh bangla om tih halang kah a lungbuei tah vilvel mai ni.
Choice silver, is the tongue of the righteous, but, the sense of the lawless, is very small.
21 Aka dueng kah hmuilai loh muep a kok tih aka ang tah a lungbuei a talh dongah duek.
The lips of the righteous, feed multitudes, but, the foolish, for lack of sense, shall die.
22 BOEIPA kah yoethennah tah boei tih, te te patangpnah a koei thil moenih.
The blessing of Yahweh, itself maketh rich, and he addeth no grievance therewith.
23 Aka ang ham tah nueihbu te khonuen rhamtat la a saii dae, cueihnah long tah hlang taengah lungcuei la om.
It is, mere sport to a stupid man, to commit lewdness, but, wisdom, pertaineth to a man of understanding.
24 Halang kah rhihnahkoi tah amah taengla a pawk pah tih aka dueng kah a ngaihlihnah khaw a doo pah ni.
The dread of the lawless one, the same, shall overtake him, but, the desire of the righteous, shall he granted.
25 Cangpalam loh a paan vaengah halang tah pai thai pawt vetih aka dueng kah khoengim tah kumhal ah pai ni.
Like the passing away of a tempest, so the lawless one is not, but, the righteous, [hath] an age-abiding foundation.
26 Kolhnaw tah a tueih rhoek hamla a no dongah a thuui bangla, a mik dongah hmaikhu bangla a om pah.
As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so, is the sluggard, to them who send him.
27 BOEIPA hinyahnah loh khohnin a thap tih halang kah a kum tah a rhaem pah.
The reverence of Yahweh, addeth days, but, the years of the lawless, shall be shortened.
28 Aka dueng rhoek kah ngaiuepnah tah kohoenah la om tih halang rhoek kah ngaiuepnah tah paltham.
The hope of the righteous, shall be gladness, but, the expectation of the lawless, shall vanish.
29 BOEIPA kah longpuei he thincaknah ham tah lunghim la om tih boethae aka saii ham porhaknah la om.
A refuge for the blameless, is the path of Yahweh, but, destruction, [awaiteth] the workers of iniquity.
30 Aka dueng tah kumhal duela tuen pawt dae halang rhoek tah diklai ah khosa mahpawh.
The righteous, to times age-abiding, shall remain unshaken, but, the lawless, shall not inhabit the earth.
31 Aka dueng kah a ka ah cueihnah cuen tih calaak rhoek kah a lai tah a yueh pah ni.
The mouth of the righteous, beareth the fruit of wisdom, but, a perverse tongue, shall be cut off.
32 Aka dueng kah hmuilai tah kolonah la a ming dae halang rhoek kah a ka tah calaak yoeyah.
The lips of the righteous, know what is pleasing, but, the mouth of the lawless, [speaketh] perversities.
