< Philipi 1 >
1 Jesuh Khrih kah sal rhoi Paul neh Timothy loh Philipi ah aka om hiphoelkung rhoek, tueihyoeih rhoek neh Jesuh Khrih ah hlangcim rhoek boeih taengah kan yaak sak.
Paul and Timothy, servants of Jesus Christ, —unto all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with overseers and ministers: —
2 A pa Pathen neh Boeipa Jesuh Khrih taengkah lungvatnah neh ngaimongnah tah nangmih taengah om saeh.
Favour unto you, and peace, from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Nangmih kah poekkoepnah cungkuem dongah ka Pathen te ka uem.
I am giving thanks unto my God, on occasion of all my remembrance of you,
4 Kai kah rhenbihnah takuem ah nangmih rhoek boeih ham omngaihnah neh rhenbihnah ka saii taitu he khaw,
At all times, in every supplication of mine, in behalf of you all, with joy, my supplication, making, —
5 A tongcuek khohnin lamkah tahae duela olthangthen dongah nangmih kah bulbonah dongah ni.
On account of your contribution unto the glad-message, from the first day until the present:
6 He he boeih ka ngaitang ngawn ta. Te dongah nangmih khuiah bibi then aka tong long tah Jesuh Khrih kah khohnin duela a khah ni ta.
Being persuaded of this very thing—that, he who hath begun in you a good work, will perfect it, until the day of Jesus Christ;
7 Nangmih thinko khuiah ka om dongah nangmih boeih yueng la poek ham he kai ham tah a dueng la om ngawn. Kai kah thongtlak dongah khaw, olthungnah dongah khaw olthangthen kah caksaknah dongah khaw lungvatnah te kai aka bawn puei laboeih na om uh.
According as it is right in me to have this regard in behalf of you all, —because ye have had me in your hearts, both in my bonds and in the defence and confirmation of the glad-message, all of you being, joint partakers of my favour.
For God is, my witness, how I long for you all in the tender affections of Christ Jesus.
9 He tla ka thangthui daengah ni nangmih kah lungnah loh mingnah neh hmuhmingnah cungkuem dongah taoe taoe a pungtai pueng eh.
And, this, I pray—that, your love, may be, yet more and more, pre-eminent in personal knowledge and all perception,
10 Te dongah a tanglue te na soepsoei uh daengah ni Khrih kah khohnin ah tah a cuemhmuet neh a cilrhik la na om uh eh.
To the end ye may be putting to the test the things that differ, in order that ye may be incorrupt and may give no occasion of stumbling, unto the day of Christ,
11 Pathen kah thangpomnah neh koehnah ham Jesuh Khrih lamkah duengnah thaihtak tah soep coeng.
Filled with that fruit of righteousness which is through Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God.
12 Manuca rhoek, kai taengah taoe aka thoeng olthangthen kah rhoengcawtnah te nangmih ming sak ham ka ngaih coeng.
Howbeit, I am minded, brethren, that ye should be, getting to know, that, the things which relate unto myself, rather, unto an advancement of the glad-message, have fallen out,
13 Te dongah Khrih ham kai kah thongtlak te khoboeiyung boeih neh a tloe boeih ah a pha tih mingpha coeng.
So that, my bonds, have become manifest in Christ, in the whole palace, and unto all the rest, —
14 Te phoeiah boeipa ah manuca a yet loh kai kah thongtlak te a ngaitang uh. Te dongah sayalh la olka thui ham taoe a ngaingaih uh.
And [so that], the most of the brethren in the Lord, assured by my bonds, are becoming more abundantly bold to be fearlessly speaking the word of God: —
15 Hlangvang loh uethnetnah, tohhaemnah neh om uh ngawn dae hlangvang ngawn tah Khrih kawng te kolonah la a hoe uh.
Some, indeed, by reason of envy and strife—some, however, by reason of good will—are proclaiming, the Christ:
16 Cungvang ah lungnah lamlong tah olthangthen kah olthungnah ham n'tuek tila a ming uh.
These, indeed, out of love, knowing that, for the defence of the glad-message, I am set;
17 Tedae koevoeinah neh Khrih olthang aka doek rhoek tah cuemcaih pawh. Kai kah thongtlak vaengkah phacip phabaem te soehsal ham ni a cai uh.
But, those, out of faction, are declaring, the Christ, not purely—supposing to rouse up, tribulation, with my bonds.
18 Te phoeikah tah mebang nim? Mueituengnah mailai nen khaw oltak nen khaw a longim boeih neh Khrih kawng doek mai cakhaw hekah ham he ka omngaih tih koep ka omngaih pueng ni.
What then? That, in any way, whether in pretext, or in truth, Christ, is declared, and, in this, I rejoice—yea, and will rejoice!
19 He tah nangmih kah rhenbihnah neh Jesuh Khrih Mueihla kah bomnah lamloh kai ham khangnah la poeh ni tila ka ming.
For I know that, this, shall turn unto me for salvation—through your supplication, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, —
20 Ka rhingoelnah neh ngaiuepnah vanbangla yah ka pok mahpawh. Tedae sayalhnah cungkuem neh hingnah lamlong khaw, dueknah lamlong khaw a yoeyah la ka pum dongah Khrih a oep van pawn ni.
According to my eager outlook and hope, that, in nothing, shall I be put to shame, but, with all freedom of speech, as always, now also, shall Christ be magnified in my body, whether through means of life, or of death.
For, unto me—living, is Christ, and, dying, gain.
22 Tedae pumsa ah hing ham akhaw te tah kai ham bibi kah a thaih la om tih ka tuek ham te ka ming pawh.
But, if living in flesh, [is Christ], this, unto me, is a fruit of work, —and, what I shall choose, I make not known:
23 Te dongah voeivang lamloh n'nan. Ka bal ham neh Khrih taengah om ham te hoehhamnah ka khueh te muep then ngai.
I am held in constraint, however, by reason of the two, —having, the coveting, to be released, and to be with, Christ, for it were far better!
24 Tedae pumsa ah om he nangmih ham tangkik ni.
But, to abide still in the flesh, is more needful for your sake;
And, of, this, being assured, know that I shall abide, —yea abide with you all, for your advancement, and the joy of your faith;
26 Te daengah ni nangmih kah thangpomnah loh kai dongkah neh kai lamloh nangmih taengah mikhmuh la Khrih Jesuh dongah a pungtai eh.
In order that, your matter of boasting, may be more abundant in Christ Jesus, regarding me, through my own presence again with you.
27 Khrih olthangthen kah a tingtawk la dawk hing uh.
Only, in a manner worthy of the glad-message of the Christ, be using your citizenship; in order that—whether coming and seeing you, or being absent, I may hear of the things which concern you—that ye are standing fast in one spirit, with one soul, joining for the combat along with the faith of the glad-message;
28 Te phoeiah boekoek rhoek kongah a hong nen khaw hlawt let uh boeh. Te tah amih ham pocinah dongah mingphanah ni. Tedae nangmih ham tah khangnah la om. He tah Pathen taeng lamkah ni.
And not being affrighted in anything by the opposers, —the which, is, unto them, a token of destruction, although of your salvation, and this from God;
29 Nangmih taengah Khrih yueng la m'paek coeng. Amah dongah aka tangnah ham bueng pawt tih amah yueng la aka patang taengah khaw a paek.
Because, unto you, hath it been given as a favour, in behalf of Christ, not only, on him, to believe, but also, in his behalf, to suffer: —
Having, the same contest, which ye have seen in me, and now hear to be in me.
