Take the nomber of all the Congregation of the children of Israel from twentie yeere olde and aboue throughout their fathers houses, all that go forth to warre in Israel.

So Moses and Eleazar the Priest spake vnto them in the plaine of Moab, by Iorden towarde Iericho, saying,

And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

Vnto these the land shalbe deuided for an inheritance, according to the nomber of names.
54 Miping ham tah a rho te len sak lamtah a sii ham tah a rho te hnop pah. Hlang te a ka neh a soep tarhing ah a rho te phaeng saeh.
To many thou shalt giue the more inheritance, and to fewe thou shalt giue lesse inheritance: to euery one according to his nomber shalbe giuen his inheritance.
55 Khohmuen te hmulung loh dawk tael saeh lamtah a napa koca rhoek kah ming tarhing la pang uh saeh.
Notwithstanding, the land shalbe deuided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherite:
56 hmulung kah a ka tarhing ah hlangping neh hlangsi laklo ah a rho te tael saeh,” a ti nah.
According to the lot shall the possession thereof be deuided betweene many and fewe.
57 Levi rhoek kah hlangmi he amah koca lamtah, Gershon lamloh Gershon koca, Kohath lamloh Kohathi koca, Merari lamloh Merari koca la om.
These also are the nobers of ye Leuites, after their families: of Gershon came ye familie of the Gershonites: of Kohath, ye familie of the Kohathites: of Merari, the familie of the Merarites.

And Amrams wife was called Iochebed the daughter of Leui, which was borne vnto Leui in Egypt: and she bare vnto Amram Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60 Aaron loh Nadab neh Abihu, Eleazar neh Ithamar a sak.
And vnto Aaron were borne Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
61 Tedae Nadab neh Abihu tah BOEIPA mikhmuh ah kholong hmai a khuen rhoi dongah duek rhoi.
And Nadab and Abihu dyed, because they offred strange fire before the Lord.
62 Te vaengah amih kah hlangmi aka om rhoek tongpa hlakhat ca neh a so hang boeih tah thawng kul neh thawng thum la a soep uh. Tedae amih te Israel ca lakli ah rho a phaeng pawt dongah Israel ca rhoek lakli ah soep uh thil pawh.
And their nombers were three and twentie thousand, all males from a moneth old and aboue: for they were not nombred among the children of Israel, because there was none inheritance giuen them among the children of Israel.

These are the nombers of Moses and Eleazar the Priest which nombred the children of Israel in the plaine of Moab, neere Iorden, towarde Iericho.
64 Tedae Moses neh khosoih Aaron kah a soep khui lamloh Sinai khosoek kah Israel ca rhoek a soep vaengkah hlang te tah te rhoek taengah thum pawh.
And among these there was not a man of them, whome Moses and Aaron the Priest nobred, when they tolde the children of Israel in the wildernes of Sinai.
65 Amih te khosoek ah duek rhoe duek ham khaw, Jephunneh capa Kaleb neh Nun capa Joshua bueng pawt atah amih lamkah hlang a sueng pawt ham khaw BOEIPA loh a thui coeng dongah ni.
For the Lord said of them, They shall die in the wildernes: so there was not left a man of them, saue Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
