< Lampahnah 10 >

1 BOEIPA loh Moses te a voek tih,
And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
2 “Namah ham cak olueng panit saii lamtah cakben boh thil. Te rhoi te nang ham rhaengpuei tingtunnah neh lambong hlahnah lam khaw om saeh.
Make thee two trumpets of silver, of beaten work, shalt thou make them, —and they shall be unto thee for calling the assembly, and for setting forward the camps.
3 Te te a ueng uh vaengah tah rhaengpuei boeih he tingtunnah dap thohka ah nang taengla tuentah uh saeh.
As soon as they blow therewith, so soon shall all the assembly assemble themselves unto thee, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting.
4 Tedae pakhat bueng a ueng uh atah Israel thawng khat kah boeilu, khoboei rhoek te nang taengah tuentah uh saeh.
And, if, only once, they blow, then shall the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel, gather themselves unto thee.
5 Tamlung pacuek na ueng vaengah khothoeng ah aka rhaeh caem rhoek te hlah uh saeh.
But when ye blow an alarm, then shall set forward the camps that are encamped eastwards;
6 Tamlung pabae neh a ueng bal vaengah tuithim ah aka rhaeh caem te hlah uh saeh. Amih hlahnah ham tamlung neh ueng uh saeh.
and when ye blow a second alarm, then shall set forward the camps that are encamped southwards, —an alarm, shall they blow for setting them forward,
7 Tedae hlangping te tingtun sak ham vaengah na ueng uh akhaw yuhui uh boeh.
But in calling together the convocation, ye shall blow but shall not sound an alarm.
8 Te vaengah Aaron koca khosoih rhoek loh olueng te ueng uh saeh lamtah nangmih ham neh na cadilcahma ham khaw kumhal kah khosing la om saeh.
And, the sons of Aaron the priests, shall blow with the trumpets, —and it shall be unto you for a statute age-abiding, unto your generations.
And when ye go into war in your land against the assailant that assaileth you, then shall ye blow an alarm with the trumpets, —and bring yourselves to mind before Yahweh your God, and be saved, from your enemies,
Kai Yahweh he nangmih kah Pathen ni,” a ti nah.
And in your day of rejoicing and in your appointed seasons and in the beginnings of your months, then shall ye blow with the trumpets, over your ascending-sacrifices, and over your peace-offerings, —so shall they be unto you for a memorial before your God. I—Yahweh, am your God.
11 A kum bae hla bae dongah hlasae hnin kul a pha vaengah, cingmai te laipainah dungtlungim dong lamloh nong.
And so it came to pass in the second year, in the second month on the twentieth of the month, that the cloud lifted itself up, from off the habitation of the testimony;
12 Te dongah Israel ca rhoek te a hlahnah Sinai khosoek lamloh cet uh tih Paran khosoek ah tah cingmai te a pai pah.
and the sons of Israel set forward by their removals from the desert of Sinai, and then the cloud abode in the desert of Paran.
13 Te vaengah Moses kut dongkah BOEIPA olka bangla ana cet lamhma uh.
Thus then did they set forward for the first time, —at the bidding of Yahweh, by the hand of Moses.
14 Te dongah lamhma la Judah koca caem kah hnitai te amamih kah caempuei tarhing ah a khuen. Te vaengah Amminadab capa Nahshon loh amah kah caempuei te a mawt.
So the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah set forward first, by their hosts, and over his own host, was Nahshon, son of Amminadab;
15 Issakhar ca rhoek koca kah caempuei te Zuar capa Nethanel loh a mawt.
and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, Nethanel, son of Zuar;
16 Zebulun ca rhoek koca kah caempuei te Helon capa loh Eliab a mawt.
and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, Eliab, son of Helon.
17 Dungtlungim a hlak van nen tah dungtlungim aka phuei Gershon koca rhoek neh Merari koca rhoek cet uh.
Then was taken down the habitation, —and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward bearing the habitation.
18 Te phoeiah Reuben caem kah hnitai te amamih kah caempuei tarhing ah cet. Te vaengah Shedeur capa Elizur loh a caempuei te a mawt.
Then set forward the standard of the camp of Reuben, by their hosts, —and over his own host, Elizur, son of Shedeur;
19 Simeon ca rhoek kah koca caempuei te Zurishaddai capa Shelumiel loh a mawt.
and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shelumiel, son of Zurishaddai;
20 Gad ca rhoek kah koca caempuei te Deuel capa Eliasaph loh a mawt.
and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad, Eliasaph, son of Deuel.
21 Te phoeiah rhokso aka kawt Kohathi te cet. Tedae amih a pawk hlan ah dungtlungim te a thoh uh coeng.
Then set forward the Kohathites, bearing the sanctuary, —and so the habitation was reared by the time they came in.
22 Te phoeiah Ephraim koca caem kah hnitai te amamih kah caempuei tarhing la cet. Te vaengah Ammihud kah capa Elishama loh anih kah caempuei te a mawt.
Then set forward the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim by their hosts, —and over his own host, was Elishama son of Ammihud;
23 Manasseh ca rhoek kah koca caempuei te Pedahzur capa Gamaliel loh a mawt.
and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, Gamaliel, son of Pedahzur;
24 Benjamin ca rhoek kah koca caempuei te Gideoni capa Abidan loh a mawt.
and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, Abidan, son of Gideoni.
25 Te phoeiah Dan koca caem kah hnitai te cet. Te vaengah caem boeih te amamih caempuei dongah tingtun uh tih a caempuei te Ammishaddai capa Ahiezer loh a mawt.
Then set forward the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan, bringing up the rear of all the camps, by their hosts, —and over his own host, Ahiezur, son of Ammishaddai;
26 Asher ca rhoek kah koca caempuei rhoek te Okran capa Pagiel loh a mawt.
and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher, Pagiel, son of Ochran;
27 Naphtali ca kah koca caempuei te Enan capa Ahira loh a mawt.
and, over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, Ahira, son of Enan.
28 Israel ca rhoek kah a longcaeh he amamih kah caempuei neh cet uh.
These, were the settings-forward of the sons of Israel by their hosts, —thus did they set forward.
29 Te vaengah Moses loh Moses amah masae Median koca Reuel capa Hobab taengah, “Kaimih he BOEIPA loh, 'Nangmih taengah kam paek bitni,’ a ti nah hmuen lam ni ka caeh uh. Kaimih neh pongpa sih lamtah BOEIPA loh Israel soah a then a thui bangla nang taengah ka then uh bitni,” a ti nah.
Then said Moses to Hobab, son of Raguel the Midianite, father-in-law of Moses: Setting forward, are we unto the place of which Yahweh hath said, The same, will I give unto you, —Oh come with us and we will do thee good, for, Yahweh, hath spoken good, concerning Israel.
30 Tedae amah te, “Kam vai mahpawh, kamah khohmuen neh ka pacaboeina taengla ka cet mai eh?,” a ti nah.
And he said unto him, I will not go, —but unto my own land, and unto my own kindred, will I go.
31 Tedae, “Khosoek ah ka rhaeh uh ham khaw na ming coeng dongah he kaimih n'hnoo boel mai. Kaimih kah mik la om mai.
Then said he: I beseech thee, do not forsake us, —for, on this account, hast thou come to know of our encamping in the desert, so shalt thou be unto us as eyes;
32 Kaimih neh n'caeh mai akhaw a then la om bitni. BOEIPA loh kaimih taengah n'bawn sak van bangla nang taengah kam bawn sak khaw ana om bitni ni,” a ti nah.
and it shall be if thou wilt go with us, —yea it shall be that with the very good wherewith Yahweh shall do us good, will we do good unto thee.
33 Te phoeiah BOEIPA tlang lamloh hnin thum longcaeh la cet uh. Te vaengah amih ham duemnah aka tlap la hnin thum longcaeh hil amih hmai ah BOEIPA kah paipi thingkawng te a caeh pah.
So then they went forward, from the mountain of Yahweh, a journey of three days, —and the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, was going before them a journey of three days, to search out for them a resting-place,
34 Rhaehhmuen lamloh a caeh uh neh hnin takuem amih soah BOEIPA kah cingmai a om pah.
And the cloud of Yahweh, was over them by day, —when they set forward out of the camp.
35 Thingkawng a caeh van neh Moses loh, “BOEIPA aw thoo lamtah, na thunkha te taekyak uh saeh, na lunguet rhoek khaw na mikhmuh lamloh rhaelrham uh saeh,” a ti.
And it came to pass when the ark set forward, that Moses said: Arise, O Yahweh! and scattered be thy foes, Let them that hate thee flee before thee;
36 A duem vaengah khaw, “BOEIPA aw, Israel kah, thawng thawngrha taengla mael laeh,” a ti.
But when it rested, he said, —Return, O Yahweh! unto the myriads of the thousands of Israel.
