And, the chiefs of the Levites, Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise—to give thanks, by the commandment of David the man of God, —ward joined to ward.
25 Mattaniah, Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub tah vongka, rhueng im ah thoh tawt, rhaltawt a ngaithuen uh.
Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were watchers, doorkeepers of the ward, in the storehouses of the gates.
26 He rhoek tah Jozadak koca, Jeshua capa Joiakim tue vaengkah neh rhalboei Nehemiah, cadaek khosoih Ezra tue vaengkah ni.
These, were in the days of Joiakim, son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak, —and in the days of Nehemiah the pasha, and Ezra the priest the scribe.
27 Jerusalem vongtung nawnnah vaengah Levi rhoek te a hmuen tom lamloh a toem uh. Nawnnah neh kohoenah te uemonah neh, lumlaa neh, tlaklak thangpa, rhotoeng neh saii hamla Jerusalem la a khuen.
And, at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they sought the Levites, out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, —to keep the dedication and the rejoicing, both with thanksgiving and with music, cymbals, harps, and with lyres.
28 Laa sa koca rhoek te Jerusalem kaepvai vannaem lamkah neh, Netophah vangca rhoek lamkah te a coi uh.
So the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, —both out of the circuit round about Jerusalem, and out of the villages of the Netophathites;
29 Bethgilgal lamkah khaw, Geba neh Azmaveth khohmuen lamkah khaw, Jerusalem kaepvai kah laa sa rhoek long tah, amamih ham vangca a suen uh.
also out of Beth-gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba, and Azmaveth, —for, villages, had the singers builded for themselves, round about Jerusalem.
30 Khosoih rhoek neh Levi rhoek te a caihcil uh phoeiah tah pilnam neh vongka rhoek khaw, vongtung khaw a caihcil uh.
And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, —and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 Te phoeiah Judah mangpa rhoek te vongtung kah a soi la ka luei sak. Te vaengah uemonah khaw vongtung kah a soi ah natva vongka taengla bantang ben ah bong nit la muep ka pai sak.
Then brought I up the rulers of Judah upon the wall, —and I appointed two large choirs, even to go in procession to the right, upon the wall, towards the dung-gate;
32 Amih hnukah Hoshaiah neh Judah mangpa rhakthuem rhoek te cet.
and after them went Hoshaiah, and half the rulers of Judah;
33 Te phoeiah tah Azariah, Ezra neh Meshullam.
then Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam;
34 Judah, Benjamin, Shemaiah neh Jeremiah.
Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah;
35 Te phoeiah khosoih koca rhoek lamkah Asaph koca, Zakkuur koca, Mikaiah koca, Mattaniah koca, Shemaiah koca, Jonathan capa Zekhariah tah olueng neh cet.
and, of the sons of the priests, with trumpets, Zechariah—son of Jonathan—son of Shemaiah—son of Mattaniah, son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph;
36 Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Judah neh Hanani tah a boeinaphung ah Pathen kah hlang, David kah lumlaa tumbael neh pueiuh. Amih hmai ah cadaek Ezra cet.
and his brethren—Shemaiah and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, Hanani, with the instruments of music of David, the man of God, —with Ezra the scribe before them;
37 Tuiphuet vongka ah tah amih hmai ah David khopuei kah tangtlaeng longah David im kungkueng kah vongtung hil neh khocuk tui kah vongka hil te tangkham la luei uh.
and, over they fountain gate and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, —above the house of David, even as far as the water-gate, eastward.
38 Pabae kah uemonah khaw rhaldan ah cet uh. Te vaengah kai khaw a hnuk ah pilnam rhakthuem neh vongtung so lamloh tapkhuel rhaltoengim hil neh vongtung a thah hil pat ka cetuh.
And, the second choir, was going over against them, I, following it, —with the half of the people upon the wall, above the tower of the ovens, even as far as the broad wall;
39 Te phoeiah Ephraim neh Jeshanah vongka hil, nga vongka neh Hananel rhaltoengim ah khaw, Meah rhaltoengim neh boiva vongka hil cet uh tih thongim vongka ah pai uh.
and above the gate of Ephraim, and upon the old gate, and upon the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hammeah, even as far as the sheep-gate, —and they came to a stand, at the gate of the guard.
40 Pathen im ah uemonah bok a pai vaengah kai khaw kamah taengah ukkung rhakthuem om.
So the two choirs, came to a stand, at the house of God, —and I, and half the deputies with me;
41 Khosoih rhoek Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Mikaiah, Elioenai, Zekhariah, Hananiah khaw olueng neh paiuh.
and, the priests—Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
42 Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malkhiah, Elam, Ezer neh hlangtawt Izrahiah kah laa sak khaw a yaak uh.
and Maaseiah and Shemaiah and Eleazar and Uzzi and Jehohanan and Malchijah and Elam and Ezer, —and the musicians sounded, aloud with Jezrahiah who was over them.
43 Te khohnin ah hmueih len a nawn uh. Te vaengah Pathen loh amih te kohoenah a len la ko a hoe sak dongah a kohoe uh. Huta camoe khaw a kohoe uh tih Jerusalem kah kohoenah te khola lamloh a yaak.
And they sacrificed, on that day, great sacrifices, and rejoiced, for, God, had caused them to rejoice with great joy, moreover also, the women and children, rejoiced, —so that the rejoicing of Jerusalem was heard afar off.
44 Te vaeng khohnin ah thakvoh khai im ah khosaa ham, thaihcuek ham, parha pakhat ham khaw hlang a soep uh. Khopuei khohmuen lamkah te olkhueng dongkah buham bangla khosoih ham neh Levi rhoek ham a khuila a calui uh. Judah kah kohoenah khaw khosoih rhoek so neh aka pai puei Levi rhoek soah khaw om.
And there were set in charge, on that day, certain men, over the chambers for the treasures, for the heave-offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, out of the fields of the cities, the portions appointed by the law, for the priests, and for the Levites, —for, the joy of Judah, was over the priests and over the Levites, who were remaining.
45 Laa sa rhoek neh thoh tawt rhoek long khaw David neh a capa Solomon kah olpaek bangla a Pathen kah a kuek neh ciimnah dongah a kuek te a ngaithuen uh.
So they kept the charge of their God, and the charge of the purification, and [so did] the singers and the doorkeepers, —according to the commandment of David and of Solomon his son.
46 Hlamat kah David neh Asaph tue vaengah tah Pathen taengah koehnah laa aka sa tih aka uem boeilu rhoek kah boeilu om.
For, in the days of David and Asaph, of old, there were chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving, unto God.
47 Te dongah Israel pum loh Zerubbabel tue neh Nehemiah tue vaengah a hnin, hnin kah aitlaeng bangla laa sa rhoek neh thoh tawt rhoek te buham a moe uh. Levi rhoek ham khaw a rhoe uh tih Levi rhoek loh Aaron koca rhoek ham a rhoe pauh.
Now, all Israel—in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, used to give the portions of the singers and the doorkeepers, the need of a day upon its day, —and they hallowed them unto the Levites, and, the Levites, hallowed them unto the sons of Aaron.
