< Maikah 4 >

1 Hmailong ah khohnin ana om bitni. BOEIPA kah tlang im khaw om vetih tlang lu ah pai ni. Amah tah som soah poe vetih a taengah pilnam hlampan ni.
But in the end of days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established as the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow unto it.
2 Te vaengah namtom rhoek te muep cet uh vetih, “Ceh uh sih lamtah BOEIPA tlang neh Jakob Pathen im la luei uh sih. A longpuei te mamih n'thuinuet daengah ni a caehlong ah m'pongpa thai eh. Olkhueng he Zion lamloh thoeng tih BOEIPA ol tah Jerusalem lamkah,” a ti uh ni.
And many nations shall go and say: 'Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths'; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
3 Pilnam boeiping laklo ah lai a tloek vetih khohla kah namtom pilnu ham a tluung pah ni. A cunghang te tuktong la, a caai te vin la a dae uh ni. Namtom loh namtom taengah cunghang muk mahpawh. Caemtloeknah khaw koep tukkil uh mahpawh.
And He shall judge between many peoples, and shall decide concerning mighty nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
4 Hlang he amah kah misur hmui neh amah kah thaibu hmuiah ni a ngol uh eh. Caempuei BOEIPA kah ka loh a thui coeng dongah lakueng uh mahpawh.
But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig-tree; and none shall make them afraid; for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken.
5 Pilnam boeih he amah pathen ming neh rhip pongpa uh khaming.
For let all the peoples walk each one in the name of its god, but we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.
6 Te khohnin ah tah BOEIPA kah olphong bangla aka cungdo te ka coi vetih a heh rhoek neh thae ka huet thil rhoek te khaw katingtun sak ni.
In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven away, and her that I have afflicted;
And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a mighty nation; and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from thenceforth even for ever.
8 Nang tah molpuei saeldawn-hlam ni. Zion nu tah nang taengla ha thoeng vetih ram lamhma kah khohung te khaw Jerusalem nu taengla pawk ni.
And thou, Migdal-eder, the hill of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come; yea, the former dominion shall come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.
9 Tahae balae tih khohum bangla na yuhui. Nang taengah manghai tal tih nang aka uen khaw mitmoeng coeng a?
Now why dost thou cry out aloud? Is there no King in thee, is thy Counsellor perished, that pangs have taken hold of thee as of a woman in travail?
10 Zion nu, vawn tih ca-om bangla a poh coeng. Khorha lamloh n'khuen laeh saeh lamtah kohong ah khosa oeh.
Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and shalt dwell in the field, and shalt come even unto Babylon; there shalt thou be rescued; there shall the LORD redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
11 “Poeih saeh lamtah mamih mik loh Zion te dawn saeh,” aka ti namtom rhoek khaw nang taengah muep tingtun uh coeng.
And now many nations are assembled against thee, that say: 'Let her be defiled, and let our eye gaze upon Zion.'
12 Cangtilhmuen kah cangpa bangla amih a coi lalah amih loh BOEIPA kah kopoek te ming uh pawt tih a cilsuep khaw a yakming uh moenih.
But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they His counsel; for He hath gathered them as the sheaves to the threshing-floor.
Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; for I will make thy horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass; and thou shalt beat in pieces many peoples; and thou shalt devote their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.
