< Matthai 28 >

1 Sabbath poeng kah Sabbath aka paan cuek mincang vaengah Magadala Mary neh a tloe Mary te hlan hip hamla ha pawk uh.
After the Sabbath, in the early dawn of the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala and the other Mary came to see the sepulchre.
2 Te vaengah lingluei a tloh la hlawt hinghuen. Boeipa kah puencawn loh vaan lamkah ha rhum dongah lungto te a paan tih a paluet phoeiah a ngol thil.
But to their amazement there had been a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord had descended from Heaven, and had come and rolled back the stone, and was sitting upon it.
3 A mueisa tah khophaa bangla om tih a himbai te khaw vuelsong bangla bok.
His appearance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow.
4 Te vaengah aka tawt rhoek loh a rhihnah neh thuen uh tih duek rhok bangla om uh.
For fear of him the guards trembled violently, and became like dead men.
5 Te vaengah puencawn loh huta rhoi te a doo tih, “Nangmih rhoi loh rhih boeh, a tai uh tangtae Jesuh na toem rhoi te ka ming.
But the angel said to the women, "As for you, dismiss your fears. I know that it is Jesus that you are looking for--the crucified One.
6 He rhoek ah a om moenih, a thui bangla thoo coeng. Halo lamtah a yalh nah hmuen te so rhoi lah,” a ti nah.
He is not here: He has come back to life, as He foretold. Come and see the place where He lay.
7 Te phoeiah koe cet lamtah a hnukbang rhoek te, 'Duek lamloh a thoh coeng te thui pah. Nangmih lakah Galilee la lamhma phai coeng ke, te rhoek ah amah na hmuh uh bitni. Nangmih taengah kan thui coeng he,” a ti nah.
And go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead and is going before you into Galilee: there you shall see Him. Remember, I have told you."
8 Te dongah hlan lamloh rhihnah neh tatloe la cet uh. Te phoeiah a hnukbang rhoek taengah puen hamla omngaihnah neh muep yong uh.
They quickly left the tomb and ran, still terrified but full of unspeakable joy, to carry the news to His disciples.
9 Te vaengah Jesuh loh amih te pakcak a doe tih, “Omngaih uh lah,” a ti nah. Amih long khaw a paan uh tih a kho te a kop uh tih a bawk uh.
And then suddenly they saw Jesus coming to meet them. "Peace be to you," He said. And they came and clasped His feet, bowing to the ground before Him.
10 Te phoeiah Jesuh loh amih te, “Rhih uh boeh, cet uh lamtah ka manuca rhoek taengah puen uh. Galilee la ana cet uh saeh lamtah kai m'hmuh uh bitni,” a ti nah.
Then He said, "Dismiss all fear! Go and take word to my brethren to go into Galilee, and there they shall see me."
11 Amih rhoek te a mael uh vaengah rhaltawt a ngen te khopuei khuila pakcak pawk uh tih aka thoeng boeih te khosoihham rhoek taengah puen uh.
While they went on this errand, some of the guards came into the city and reported to the High Priests every detail of what had happened.
12 Te vaengah a ham rhoek te tingtun uh tih dawtletnah a khuehuh. Tangka a khuen uh khungdaeng tih rhalkap rhoek te a paek uh.
So the latter held a conference with the Elders, and after consultation with them they heavily bribed the soldiers,
13 Te phoeiah, “Khoyin ka ih vaengah a hnukbang ha pawk tih a huen uh, 'ti uh ne.
telling them to say, "His disciples came during the night and stole his body while we were asleep."
14 Te te khoboei taengla a yaak atah, anih te kaimih loh ka hloih uh vetih nangmih te bidip la kan khueh uh bitni,” a ti na uh.
"And if this," they added, "is reported to the Governor, we will satisfy him and screen you from punishment."
15 Te dongah te rhoek loh tangka te a doe uh tih a thuituen bangla a saii uh. Te dongah tekah ol tah tihnin khohnin duela Judah rhoek taengah a thui.
So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this story was noised about among the Jews, and is current to this day.
16 Te phoeiah hnukbang hlaikhat tah Jesuh loh amih a uen nah Galilee kah tlang la cet uh.
As for the eleven disciples, they proceeded into Galilee, to the hill where Jesus had arranged to meet them.
17 Amah te a hmuh uh tih a bawk uh dae hlangvang loh a uepvawt uh.
There they saw Him and prostrated themselves before Him. Yet some doubted.
18 Te vaengah Jesuh loh a paan tih amih te a voek. Te vaengah, “Diklai hman neh vaan ah saithainah boeih tah kai taengah m'paek coeng.
Jesus however came near and said to them, "All power in Heaven and over the earth has been given to me.
19 Te dongah cet uh lamtah namtom boeih te ham bang sakuh. Amih te Pa, Capa, Cim Mueihla kah ming neh nuem uh.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations; baptize them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;
20 Nangmih kang uen boeih te tuem sak ham amih te thuituen uh. Kai khaw nangmih taengah kumhal kah a bawtnah duela hnin takuem ka om coeng he,” a ti nah. (aiōn g165)
and teach them to obey every command which I have given you. And remember, I am with you always, day by day, until the Close of the Age." (aiōn g165)
