4 Ka saii ham te ka ming coeng. Te daengah ni hnokhoemnah lamkah ka puen uh vaengah a im khuila kai n'doe uh eh,’ a ti.
I know what I shall do, in order that when I am deposed from the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.

And he said; A hundred measures of oil. And he said to him, Take your accounts, and sitting down quickly write fifty.

And the lord praised the steward of unrighteousness because he acted shrewdly: because the sons of this age are wiser in their generation than the sons of the light.
And I say unto you, Make unto yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness, in order that, when it may fail, they may receive you into eternal tabernacles. (aiōnios g166)
10 A yit dongah uepom la aka om tah a len dongah khaw uepom la om tih, a yit dongah aka halang tah a len dongah khaw halang.

No servant is able to serve two masters: for he will hate the one, and love the other; or he will cleave to the one, and despise the other. You are not able to serve God and mammon.

The law and the prophets were until John: from that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every one presses into it.

And he calling said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue, because I am tormented in this flame.
25 Tedae Abraham loh, 'Camoe, na hingnah dongkah na hnothen na dang te poek. Te vaengah Lazarus tah yoethae bangla om. Tedae anih a mong vaengah he nang tah patang loh n'yuek coeng.

And in addition to all these things, there is a great gulf fixed between us and you, in order that those wishing to go hence to you may not be able, neither can they come thence to us.
27 Te phoeiah, 'A pa namah ni kan hloep. Te dongah anih te a pa im la tueih mai.
And he said, Moreover I intreat you, father, that you may send him to the house of my father:
28 Manuca panga ka khueh dongah amih te uen mai saeh. Te daengah ni amih khaw hekah nganboh hmuen la ha pawk uh pawt eh?,’ a ti nah.
for I have five brothers; in order that he may testify to them, that they may not also come to this place of the torment.
29 Tedae Abraham loh, 'Moses neh tonghma te a khueh uh ta, amih taengah hnatun uh saeh,’ a ti nah.
But Abraham says, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 Tedae te long te, 'Moenih, a pa Abraham, aka duek tangtae pakhat loh amih te paan koinih yut uh ni,’ a ti nah.
But he said, No, father Abraham: but if one may go to them from the dead, they will repent.
31 Tedae anih te, 'Moses neh tonghma rhoek kah olthui te a hnatun uh pawt atah, duek khui lamkah khat khat thoo cakhaw ngaitang mahpawh,’ a ti nah,” a ti.
But he said to him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded if one may rise from the dead.
