1 Moses te BOEIPA loh a voek tih,
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

“Speak to all the assembly of the people of Israel and say to them, 'You must be holy, for I Yahweh your God am holy.
3 Hlang boeih loh a manu neh a napa te rhih lamtah ka Sabbath khaw tuem uh. Kai tah na BOEIPA Pathen.
Everyone must respect his mother and his father, and you must keep my Sabbaths. I am Yahweh your God.
4 Mueirhol rhoek taengla hooi uh boeh. Mueihlawn pathen rhoek khaw namamih ham saii uh boeh. Kai tah na Pathen BOEIPA ni.
Do not turn to worthless idols, nor make for yourselves gods out of metal. I am Yahweh your God.
5 BOEIPA taengah rhoepnah hmueih na nawn vaengah khaw nangmih taengah kolonah la nawn uh.
When you offer a sacrifice of fellowship offerings to Yahweh, you must offer it that you may be accepted.
6 Na hmueih te amah khohnin neh a vuen ah ca. Tedae a thum hnin duela a coih atah hmai neh hoeh saeh.
It must be eaten the same day you offer it, or on the next day. If anything remains until the third day, it must be burned up with fire.
7 A thum hnin ah dikyik dikyak te koep a caak la a caak atah anih te moeithen mahpawh.
If it is eaten at all on the third day, it is unclean meat; it must not be accepted,
8 Te te aka ca loh BOEIPA kah a cimcaihnah te a poeih dongah amah kathaesainah te phuei saeh. Tekah hlanghing te a pilnam lamloh hnawt saeh.
and everyone who eats it must carry his own guilt because he has defiled what is holy to Yahweh, and that person must be cut off from his people.
9 Na khohmuen kah cang na ah uh vaengah khaw na lo saa te boeih at boel lamtah na cangvuei kah a mo khaw boeih yoep boeh.
When you reap the harvest of your land, you must not completely reap the corners of your field, neither will you gather all the produce of your harvest.
10 Na misur khaw boeih yun boel lamtah na misur mo te koep rhut boeh. Te tah mangdaeng ham neh yinlai ham hnoo pah. Kai tah nangmih kah BOEIPA Pathen ni.
You must not gather every grape from your vineyard, nor gather the grapes that have fallen on the ground in your vineyard. You must leave them for the poor and for the foreigner. I am Yahweh your God.
11 Huen uh boeh. Basa uh boeh. Hlang khat neh khat loh a imben taengah rhilat uh boeh.
Do not steal. Do not lie. Do not deceive each other.
12 Kai ming neh a honghi te toemngam uh boeh kai BOEIPA na Pathen ming he na poeih uh ve.
Do not swear by my name falsely and profane the name of your God. I am Yahweh.
13 Na hui te hnaemtaek boeh, rheth khaw rheth boeh. Kutloh kah thaphu te namah taengah mincang duela rhaeh sak boeh.
Do not oppress your neighbor or rob him. The wages of a hired servant must not stay with you all night until the morning.
14 Hnapang te tap boeh, mikdael hmai ah hmuitoel khueh boeh. Na Pathen te rhih lah. Kai tah BOEIPA ni.
Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block before the blind. Instead, you must fear your God. I am Yahweh.
15 Tiktamnah te dumlai la saii uh boeh. tattloel maelhmai khaw dan uh boeh, hlanglen maelhmai khaw hiin uh boeh. Na imben kah lai te duengnah neh tloek uh.
Do not cause judgment to be false. You must not show favoritism to someone because he is poor, and you must not show favoritism to someone because he is important. Instead, judge your neighbor righteously.
16 Na pilnam taengah caemtuh ham dongpoeng boeh, na hui kah a thii te pai thil boeh. Kai tah BOEIPA ni.
Do not walk around spreading slander among your people, but seek to protect your neighbor's life. I am Yahweh.
17 Na manuca te na thin neh hmuhuet boeh. Na tluung tueng atah na imben khaw tluung lamtah anih kah tholhnah te tah rhooi boeh.
Do not hate your brother in your heart. You must honestly rebuke your neighbor so as not to share in sin because of him.
18 Na pilnam koca taengah phulo boel lamtah lunguen boeh. Tedae na hui te namah pum bangla lungnah. Kai tah BOEIPA ni.
Do not take vengeance or hold any grudge against any of your people, but instead love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh.
19 Ka khosing he ngaithuen uh, na rhamsa khaw a coom neh kui sak boeh. Na lo ah cangti aka coom tuh boeh. Himbai khaw a coom la a yaep te na pum dongah khueh boeh.
You must keep my commands. Do not try to breed your animals with different kinds of other animals. Do not mix two different kinds of seeds when planting your field. Do not wear clothing made of two kinds of material mixed together.
20 Hlang khat khat loh huta taengah yalh tih yangtui a hlah phoeiah hlang kah salnu te a veet mai ni. Te vaengah a lat ham dae lat uh pawt tih poenghalnah a paek pawt atah huta te lai la om cakhaw hlang hoeng la a om pawt dongah duek sak uh boel saeh.
Whoever sleeps with a slave girl who is promised to a husband, but who has not been ransomed or given her freedom, they must be punished. They must not be put to death because she was not free.
21 Tedae tongpa loh hmaithennah tutal te tingtunnah dap thohka kah BOEIPA taengah hmaithennah la khuen saeh.
A man must bring his guilt offering to Yahweh to the entrance to the tent of meeting—a ram as a guilt offering.
22 Tongpa khaw tholhnah neh lai a hmuh coeng dongah amah ham hmaithennah tutal neh BOEIPA mikhmuh ah khosoih loh dawth pah saeh. Te vaengah anih te tholhnah neh a laihmuh khui lamloh khodawkngai saeh.
Then the priest will make atonement for him with the ram for the guilt offering before Yahweh, for the sin that he has committed. Then the sin which he has committed will be forgiven.
23 Khohmuen la na kun uh tih caak ok kung khat khat na ling uh vaengah a thaih te yahhmui rhet banghui la a muel la ca boeh kum thum om sak dae.
When you come into the land and have planted all kinds of trees for food, then you must regard the fruit they produce as forbidden to be eaten. The fruit must be forbidden to you for three years. It must not be eaten.
24 A kum li dongkah a thaih boeih te tah BOEIPA taengah cangkoeinah buhcim la om saeh.
But in the fourth year all the fruit will be holy, an offering of praise to Yahweh.
25 Tedae a kum nga dongkah a thaih te ca uh lamtah a vuei khaw nangmih ham tomthap saeh. Kai tah nangmih kah Pathen BOEIPA ni.
In the fifth you may eat the fruit, having waited so that the trees might produce more. I am Yahweh your God.
26 Thii te ca uh boeh, lungso uh boeh, kutyaek khaw so uh boeh.
Do not eat any meat with blood still in it. Do not consult spirits about the future, and do not seek to control others by supernatural powers.
27 Na lu kah baengki te rhuep uh boeh. Na hmuimul ngalh ngalh kuet uh boeh.
You will not round off the corners of the hair on the sides of your head or shave off the edge of your beard.
28 Hinglu ham namah saa te a boenahhma khueh uh boeh. Na pum dongah mangthun ngo khaw khueh uh boeh. Kai tah BOEIPA ni.
Do not cut your body for the dead or put tattoo marks on your body. I am Yahweh.
29 Cukhalh dongah na tanu te poeih uh boeih. Te daengah ni khohmuen loh cukhalh pawt vetih khohmuen ah khonuen rhamtat a baetawt pawt eh.
Do not disgrace your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the nation will fall to prostitution and the land will become full of wickedness.
30 Kai kah Sabbath he ngaithuen uh lamtah ka rhokso khaw rhih uh. Kai tah BOEIPA ni.
You must keep my Sabbaths and honor the sanctuary of my tabernacle. I am Yahweh.
31 Nangmih aka poeih ham rhaitonghma taengla hooi uh boeh. Hnam khaw tlap uh boeh. Kai tah nangmih kah Pathen BOEIPA ni.
Do not turn to those who talk with the dead or with spirits. Do not seek them out, or they will defile you. I am Yahweh your God.
32 Sampok hmai ah thoh pah lamtah patong maelhmai hiin lah. Te phoeiah na Pathen khaw rhih lah. Kai tah BOEIPA ni.
You must rise before the gray-headed person and honor the presence of an old man. You must fear your God. I am Yahweh.
33 Na khohmuen ah aka bakuep yinlai te vuelvaek boeh.
If a foreigner lives among you in your land, you must not do him any wrong.
34 Nangmih taengah aka bakuep yinlai te namamih lamkah mupoe bangla om van saeh. Egypt kho ah yinlai la na om uh van dongah anih te namah pum bangla lungnah. Kai tah na Pathen BOEIPA ni.
The foreigner who lives with you must be to you like the native-born Israelite who lives among you, and you must love him as yourself, because you were foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.
35 Laitloeknah dongkah cungnueh ham, a khiing ham neh khoe ham dumlai la saii boeh.
Do not use false measures when measuring length, weight, or quantity.
36 Nangmih taengah duengnah cooi, duengnah coilung, duengnah cangnoek, neh duengnah bunang mah dawk om saeh. Kai tah Egypt kho lamkah nangmih aka khuen na Pathen BOEIPA ni.
You must use just scales, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin. I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.
37 Ka khosing boeih te ngaithuen uh lamtah ka laitloeknah boeih te vai uh lah. Kai tah BOEIPA ni,” a ti nah.
You must obey all my decrees and all my laws, and do them. I am Yahweh.'”
