Many years had passed by, and Joshua had grown old. The Lord spoke to him, saying, “You're now an old man, but there's still a great deal of land still to be taken.

This is the remaining land: the territory of all the Philistines and all the Geshurites,

from the Shihur River on the border with Egypt north to the border of Ekron—all of which is counted as Canaanite but comes under the five Philistine lords of Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gath, and Ekron. In addition there's the land of the Avvites
4 tuithim lamkah Kanaan khohmuen pum neh Sidoni lungko, Amori khorhi Aphek due,
in the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians, all the way to Aphek on the border with the Amorites,
5 Ghiblii khohmuen neh khocuk kah Lebanon pum, Hermon tlang yung Baalgad lamkah Lebokhamat due om pueng.
as well as the land of the Gebalites and the Lebanon area from the town of Baalgad to the slopes of Mount Hermon to Lebo-hamath,
6 Lebanon lamkah Misrephothmayim due tlang aka om boeih Sidoni boeih te Israel ca rhoek mikhmuh ah kai loh ka haek vetih nang kang uen vanbangla Israel taengah rho la dawk tael pah.
and the those who live in the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim, including all the land of the Sidonians. I myself will drive them out ahead of the Israelites. Just allocate the land to Israel for them to own, as I have commanded you.
7 Khohmuen he koca pako neh Manasseh koca hlangvang ham rho la tael pah bal laeh.
So divide this land among the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh for them to own.”
8 “Reuben koca neh Gad koca ngawn tah BOEIPA kah sal Moses loh amih a paek vanbangla khocuk kah Jordan rhalvangan ah Moses loh amih a paek te amamih kah rho la a loh uh coeng,” a ti nah.
The other half of the tribe of Manasseh, and the tribes of Reuben and Gad, had already received their land grant on the east side of the Jordan, as allotted to them by Moses, the servant of the Lord.
9 Arnon soklong kaep Aroer lamkah soklong bangli kah khopuei neh Medeba tlangkol boeih, Dibon due,
It stretched from Aroer on the edge of the Arnon valley, from the town in the middle of the valley, and all the plateau of Medeba, up to Dibon;
10 Heshbon ah aka manghai Amori manghai kah Sihon khopuei boeih neh Ammon ca rhoek kah khorhi due,
and all the towns that belonged to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon, up to the border with the Ammonites.
11 Gilead neh Geshuri khorhi, Maakathi neh Hermon tlang pum, Bashan pum neh Salkhah due,
In addition it included Gilead, the land of the Geshurites and Maacathites, all of Mount Hermon, and all of Bashan as far as Salecah,
12 Ashtaroth neh Edrei ah aka manghai Bashan Oga kah a ram boeih, Anih he Rapha hlangrhuel lamkah aka sueng duen ni. Amih te Moses loh a tloek tih a khoe.
as well as all the land of the kingdom of Og of Bashan, who had ruled in Ashtaroth and Edrei. He was one of the last of the Rephaites. Moses had defeated them and driven them out.
13 Tedae Geshuri neh Maakathi tah Israel ca rhoek loh haek uh pawh. Te dongah Geshuri neh Maakah loh tihnin duela Israel lakli ah kho a sak.
But the Israelites had not driven out the Geshurites or the Maacathites, who still live among them to this very day.
14 Tedae Levi koca te tah rho pae pawh. Amah taengah a thui pah vanbangla Israel Pathen BOEIPA kah hmaihlutnah te anih kah rho la om coeng.
Moses did not allocate any land for the Levites to own. Instead they were allotted the offerings made by fire to the Lord, the God of Israel, as the Lord had promised them.
15 Reuben ca rhoek kah koca te amah huiko tarhing ah Moses loh a paek.
This was the land that Moses allotted to the tribe of Reuben, by families:
16 Te vaengah Arnon soklong kaep kah Aroer khorhi neh soklong bangli kah khopuei, Medeba tlangkol boeih,
Their territory stretched from Aroer on the edge of the Arnon valley, from the town in the middle of the valley, and all the plateau of Medeba;
17 Heshbon neh Dibon tlangkol kah khopuei boeih, Bamothbaal neh Bethbaal,
Heshbon and all associated towns on the plateau—Dibon, Bamoth Baal, Beth Baal Meon,
18 Jahaz, Kedemoth neh Mephaath,
Jahaz, Kedemoth, Mephaath,
19 Kiriathaim, Sibam neh tuikol tlang kah Zarethshahar,
Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth-shahar, on a hill in the valley,
20 Bethpeor, Pisgah, tuibah neh Bethjeshimoth,
Beth-peor, the slopes of Pisgah, Beth-jeshimoth—
21 tlangkol khopuei boeih, Heshbon ah manghai tih Moses loh a tloek Amori manghai Sihon neh Midian khoboei Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur neh Reba, khohmuen kah khosa tangtae Sihon boeimang rhoek kah a ram boeih khaw amih hut la ana om.
all the towns of the plateau and all the kingdom of Sihon, the Amorite king, who ruled in Heshbon. He was defeated by Moses, as well as the Midianite leaders Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, princes who lived in the kingdom and who were allied to Sihon.
22 Te vaengkah hlang aka bi Balaam, Beor capa te rhok taengah Israel ca rhoek loh cunghang neh a ngawn uh.
At the same time the Israelites killed Balaam, son of Beor, the fortune-teller, along with the others who were slaughtered.
23 Te dongah Jordan neh Jordan rhi he Reuben ca rhoek kah khorhi, Reuben ca rhoek kah rho, amih huiko kah khopuei vongup la om.
The Jordan was the boundary for the tribe of Reuben. This was the land, the towns and the villages, allotted to the tribe of Reuben, by families.
24 Gad koca te khaw Gad ca rhoek taengkah amah huiko tarhing la Moses loh a phaeng coeng.
This was the land that Moses allotted to the tribe of Gad, by families:
25 Te dongah Jazer khorhi neh Gilead khopuei boeih, Ammon ca rhoek khohmuen rhakthuem neh Rabbah imdan kah Aroer due,
Their territory was Jazer, all the towns of Gilead, and half of the land of the Ammonites up to Aroer, near Rabbah;
26 Heshbon lamloh Ramah Mizpeh neh Betonim duela, Mahanaim lamloh Lodebar khorhi duela,
stretching from Heshbon to Ramath-mizpeh and Betonim, and from Mahanaim to the Debir region.
27 tuikol ah khaw Bethharam neh Bethnimrah, Sukkoth neh Zaphon, Jordan ah Heshbon manghai Sihon kah a ram ngancawn neh khocuk ah Jordan kaep kah Kinnereth tuili hmoi kah khorhi due amih hut la om.
In the Jordan valley lay Beth-haram, Beth-nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon, king of Heshbon. The boundary ran along the Jordan up to the bottom end of the sea of Kinnereth and then ran east.
28 He tah Gad koca rhoek rho neh amih huiko kah khopuei vangca rhoek ni.
This was the land, the towns and the villages, allotted to the tribe of Gad, by families.
29 Te phoeiah Manasseh koca hlangvang neh Manasseh ca rhoek kah cako ngancawn la aka om te amah huiko tarhing la Moses loh a phaeng.
This was the land that Moses allotted to the half-tribe of Manasseh, that is half of the tribe of the descendants of Manasseh, by families:
30 Te dongah Mahanaim lamloh Bashan manghai Oga kah a ram pum la aka om Bashan boeih, Jair vangca boeih neh Bashan kah khopuei sawmrhuk,
Their territory stretched from Manahaim through the whole of Bashan, all the kingdom of Og, and all the towns of Jair in Bashan—sixty in all.
31 Gilead ngancawn neh Bashan ah Oga ram kah khopuei rhoek la Ashtaroth neh Edrei te Manasseh capa Makir koca rhoek, Makir ca rhoek hlangvang neh a huiko kah khorhi la om.
Also included was Gilead, and Ashtaroth and Edrei, the towns of king Og in Bashan. This was the land allotted to the descendants of Machir, son of Manasseh, for half of them, by families.
32 He rhoek he Jerikho khocuk Jordan rhalvangan kah Moab kolken ah ni Moses loh a phaeng coeng.
These were the allocations that Moses made when he was in the plains of Moab, on the other side of the Jordan, east of Jericho.
33 Tedae Levi koca te tah Moses loh rho pae pawh. Amih taengah a thui pah vanbangla Israel Pathen BOEIPA tah amih kah rho la om coeng.
However, Moses did not allot any land to the Levites, for the Lord, the God of Israel, had promised them that he would be their allocation.
