< Joba 32 >
1 Amah mikhmuh ah amah te a dueng sak dongah te rhoek hlang pathum Job a doo te kangkuen uh.
And these three men cease from answering Job, for he [is] righteous in his own eyes,
2 Te dongah Ram koca kah Buzi Barakel capa Elihu kah a thintoek tah Job taengah sai coeng. Pathen lakah amah hinglu te a tang sak dongah a thintoek khaw sai.
and the anger of Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite burns, of the family of Ram; his anger has burned against Job, because of his justifying himself more than God;
3 Hlatnah hmu uh pawt dae Job te a boe sak uh dongah anih kah thintoek khaw a hui pathum taengah sai van.
and his anger has burned against his three friends, because that they have not found an answer, and condemn Job.
4 Amih boeih khuiah Elihu tah a kum la a ham dongah Job te ol neh a rhing.
And Elihu has waited earnestly beside Job with words, for they are older than he in days.
5 Hlang pathum ka dongah hlatnah a om pawt te Elihu a hmuh vaengah a thintoek te sai.
And Elihu sees that there is no answer in the mouth of the three men, and his anger burns.
6 Te dongah Buzi Barakel capa Elihu loh a doo tih, “Kai he a kum la ka noe tih nangmih tah na ham. Te dongah ka kawl uh tih nangmih taengah kamah kah poeknah thui ham khaw ka rhih.
And Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite answers and says: “I [am] young in days, and you [are] aged; Therefore I have feared, And am afraid of showing you my opinion.
7 Cueihnah he a khohnin nen khaw a thui uh vetih kum a yet a tukkil uh mako ka ti.
I said, Days speak, And a multitude of years teach wisdom.
8 Mueihla he hlanghing ah om dae Tlungthang hiil long ni amih a yakming sak.
Surely a spirit is in man, And the breath of the Mighty One Causes them to understand.
9 Muep aka cueih neh patong rhoek loh khaw laitloeknah te a yakming uh moenih.
The multitude are not wise, Nor do the aged understand judgment.
10 Te dongah kai taengkah hnatun uh lah ka ti. Kai khaw ka poeknah ka thui van eh.
Therefore I have said: Listen to me, I show my opinion—even I.
11 Nangmih ol te ka lamtawn ne. Olthui na khe uh vaengah nangmih kah lungcuei te hna ka kaeng thil.
Behold, I have waited for your words, I give ear to your reasons, Until you search out sayings.
12 Nangmih khaw kan yakming vaengah Job taengkah a tluung ol te aka doo na om uh moenih he.
And to you I attend, And behold, there is no reasoner for Job, [Or] answerer of his sayings among you.
13 “Cueihnah m'hmuh coeng, anih te hlang pawt tih Pathen loh khoek saeh,” ti uh ve.
Lest you say, We have found wisdom, God thrusts him away, not man.
14 Olthui neh kai taengah rhong a pai pawt dongah nangmih ol neh anih te ka thuung mahpawh,” a ti nah.
And he has not set words in array for me, And I do not answer him with your sayings.
15 Amih lamkah ol khaw vawt uh tih, a rhihyawp uh dongah koep doo uh pawh.
(They have broken down, They have not answered again, They removed words from themselves.
16 Koep doo mueh la pai uh tih a cal uh pawt dongah ka lamtawn aya?
And I have waited, but they do not speak, For they have stood still, They have not answered anymore.)
17 Kai khaw kamah hamsum te ka doo vetih kai khaw kamah kah poeknah te ka thui van ni.
I answer, even I—my share, I show my opinion—even I.
18 Olthui khaw ka hah tih ka bungko kah mueihla loh kamah n'kilh coeng.
For I have been full of words, The spirit of my breast has distressed me,
19 Ka bungko he misurtui bangla khui pawt tih tui-um thai bangla ueth.
Behold, my breast [is] as wine not opened, It is broken up like new bottles.
20 Ka thui daengah ni kai ham a hoengpoek eh. Ka hmuilai ka ong vetih ka doo pueng ni.
I speak, and there is refreshment to me, I open my lips and answer.
21 Hlang maelhmai te ka dan tarha pawt vetih hlang te ka hlae tarha mahpawh.
Please do not let me accept the face of any, Nor give flattering titles to man,
22 Hlang hlae ham khaw ka ming moenih, kai aka saii loh kai he phawn n'khoe lah ve.
For I have not known to give flattering titles, My Maker takes me away in a little.”
