< Joba 26 >
And Job answereth and saith: —
2 “Metlam thadueng mueh te na bom tih sarhi aka tak mueh bantha te na khang?
What — thou hast helped the powerless, Saved an arm not strong!
3 Metlam lae cueihnah aka tal te na uen tih a cungkuem ah lungming cueihnah na ming sak.
What — thou hast given counsel to the unwise, And wise plans in abundance made known.
4 U taengah nim ol na thui tih nang lamloh u kah hiil nim aka thoeng?
With whom hast thou declared words? And whose breath came forth from thee?
5 Sairhai tah tui hmui ah kilkul uh tih kho a sak.
The Rephaim are formed, Beneath the waters, also their inhabitants.
6 A taengah saelkhui khaw pumtling om tih Abaddon khaw himbai om pawh. (Sheol )
Naked [is] Sheol over-against Him, And there is no covering to destruction. (Sheol )
7 Tlangpuei ah hinghong la a yaal tih bang aka om pawt soah khaw diklai a dingkoei sak.
Stretching out the north over desolation, Hanging the earth upon nothing,
8 A khomai khuiah tui a cun tih cingmai te a hmui ah a ueth pawh.
Binding up the waters in His thick clouds, And the cloud is not rent under them.
9 A cingmai te a soah a yaal tih ngolkhoel hmai a dah.
Taking hold of the face of the throne, Spreading over it His cloud.
10 Vangnah neh a hmuep laklo kah a khuetnah hamla tui hman ah a rhi a rhuen pah.
A limit He hath placed on the waters, Unto the boundary of light with darkness.
11 Vaan kah tung khaw hlinghloek uh tih a tluungnah dongah a ngaihmang uh.
Pillars of the heavens do tremble, And they wonder because of His rebuke.
12 A thadueng loh tuipuei te a phih tih a lungcuei neh Rahab a phop.
By His power He hath quieted the sea, And by His understanding smitten the proud.
13 A mueihla loh vaan kah khocil a thoeng sak tih a kut loh yingyet rhul khaw a toeh.
By His Spirit the heavens He beautified, Formed hath His hand the fleeing serpent.
14 He tah a longpuei dongkah longpuei hmoi ni he. A thayung thamal kah khohum khuiah amah kah ol duem te metlam n'yaak? A thayung thamal te u long a yakming pai eh?” a ti.
Lo, these [are] the borders of His way, And how little a matter is heard of Him, And the thunder of His might Who doth understand?
