< Isaiah 63 >
1 Bozrah himbai a thimduk neh Edom lamkah aka pawk he nim? A pueinak nen mah a hiin coeng. Amah kah thadueng cungkuem neh aka khuum mai te. Khang khungdaeng ham khaw kamah long ni duengnah neh ka thui.
Who is this who comes from Edom [Red], with dyed garments from Bozrah? Who this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength? “It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
2 Balae tih na pueinak te a thim? Na himbai khaw misur rhom khuiah a nook bangla.
Why is your clothing red, and your garments like him who treads in the wine vat?
3 Sum khaw kamah bueng long ni ka huelh. Pilnam pakhat khaw kai taengah nuen pawh. Ka thintoek ah amih a neet tih ka kosi neh amih ka taelh. A thii loh ka himbai a haeh tih ka hnicu he a pum la ka nok.
“I have trodden the wine press alone; and of the peoples, no one was with me: Yes, I trod them in my anger, and trampled them in my wrath. Their life-blood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing.
4 Phulohnah hnin ham te ka lungbuei ah hing cakhaw kai ham tlannah kum ha pai coeng.
For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come.
5 Ka paelki van akhaw aka bom om pawh. Ka pong bal akhaw aka talong om pawh. Ka bantha loh kamah ham a khang tih ka kosi loh amah la kai n'duel.
I looked, and there was no one to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold: therefore my own arm brought salvation to me; and my own wrath upheld me.
6 Ka thintoek ah pilnam ka suntlae tih ka kosi neh amih ka rhuihmil sak. Amih thii te diklai dongah ka tlak sak.
I trod down the peoples in my anger, and made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their life-blood on the earth.”
7 BOEIPA loh mamih ham boeih a thuung van bangla BOEIPA kah sitlohnah neh BOEIPA koehnah ni ka thui eh. Amih kah haidamnah bangla amah kah sitlohnah cangpai neh Israel imkhui te thennah neh muep a thuung.
I will tell of the chesed ·loving-kindnesses· of Adonai and the tehilahot ·praise songs· of Adonai, according to all that Adonai has given to us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel [God prevails], which he has given to them according to his rachamim ·merciful loves·, and according to the multitude of his chesed ·loving-kindnesses·.
8 “Amih ka pilnam he tah camoe khaw rhilat mahpawh,” a ti coeng dongah BOEIPA tah amih aka khang la om coeng.
For he said, “Surely, they are my people, children who will not deal falsely;” so he became their salvation.
9 Amih kah citcai boeih dongahBOEIPAamah ham khaw khobing sut. A mikhmuh kah puencawn loh amih te a khang. A lungnah neh a thinphatnah dongah amih te a tlan. Khosuen lamkah hnin takuem amih te a poeh tih amih te a ludoeng.
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and ha mal'ak Yahweh [the Angel of He sustains breathing] saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
10 Tedae amih loh amah kah Mueihla cim te a koek tih kothae a paekuh. Te dongah amih taengla mael tih thunkha bangla amih te amah loh a vathoh thil.
But they rebelled, and grieved his Ruach Kodesh [Holy Spirit, Breath]. Therefore he turned and became their enemy, and he himself fought against them.
11 Khosuen tue kah a pilnam Moses a thoelh. Amih te a boiva aka dawn neh tuipuei lamloh aka khuen te melae? A kotak ah a Mueihla Cim te aka khueh te melae?
Then he remembered the days of old, Moses [Drawn out] and his people, saying, “Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his Ruach Kodesh [Holy Spirit, Breath] among them?”
12 Amah kah boeimang bantha te Moses bantang ah aka pongpa sak, amah kah kumhal ming dang sak ham amih mikhmuh lamkah tui aka phih.
Who caused his glorious arm to be at Moses [Drawn out]’ right hand? Who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
13 Amih te khosoek ah marhang bangla tuidung longah a mawt dae paloe uh pawh.
Who led them through the depths, like a horse in the wilderness, so that they didn’t stumble?
14 Kolbawn la aka suntla rhamsa bangla BOEIPA Mueihla loh anih a duem sak. Boeimang ming te namah hut la khueh ham ni na pilnam khaw na hmaithawn tangloeng.
As the livestock that go down into the valley, Ruach Yahweh [Spirit, Breath of He sustains breathing] caused them to rest. So you led your people, to make yourself a glorious name.
15 Vaan lamloh paelki lamtah na imhmuen cim lamloh hmuh lah. Na boeimang neh na thatlainah na thayung thamal melae? Na ko a hah neh na haidamnah he kai taengah thiim uh.
Look down from heaven, and see from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory. Where are your zeal and your mighty acts? The yearning of your heart and your rachamim ·compassionate loves· is restrained toward me.
16 Kaimih napa tah namah pai ni. Abraham loh kaimih m'ming moenih. Israel long khaw kaimih m'hmat moenih. Kaimih napa he Yahovah namah ni. Khosuen lamloh kaimih aka tlan khaw namah ming ni.
For you are our Father, though Abraham [Father of a multitude] does not know us, and Israel [God prevails] does not acknowledge us. You, Adonai, are our Father. Our Redeemer from everlasting is your name.
17 BOEIPA aw balae tih na longpuei lamloh kaimih kho nan hmang sak. Namah hinyahnah lamloh kaimih lungbuei na hit sak. Na rho koca na sal rhoek ham ha mael laeh.
O Adonai, why do you make us wander from your ways, and harden our heart from your fear? Teshuvah ·Complete return· for your servants’ sake, the tribes of your inheritance.
18 Namah kah pilnam cim kolkalh a pang uh vaengah kaimih kah rhal rhoek loh na rhokso te a suntlae uh.
Your holy people possessed it but a little while. Our adversaries have trodden down your sanctuary.
We have become like those over whom you never ruled, like those who were not called by your name.
