< Isaiah 62 >
1 Zion ham ka ngam pawt vetih, Jerusalem ham khaw a duengnah loh, kho aa bangla ha thoeng. Te dongah anih kah khangnah loh, hmaithoi bangla a dom duela ka mong mahpawh.
For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns.
2 Na duengnah te namtom hlang loh a hmuh uh vetih, manghai boeih loh nang kah thangpomnah a hmuh uh vaengah, BOEIPA ka kah a phoei ming thai neh nang te n'khue ni.
The nations shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory, and you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of Jehovah shall name.
3 Boeimang rhuisam tah BOEIPA kut dongah, mangpa sammuei khaw na Pathen kah kut dongah ni a om eh.
You shall also be a crown of beauty in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 Nang te tueihno la n'khue voel pawt vetih, na khohmuen te khopong ti voel mahpawh. Nang te pumting nu la, na khohmuen rhukom la ng'khue ni. BOEIPA tah, nang dongah naep vetih, na khohmuen khaw rhukom la om ni.
And you shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate: but you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for Jehovah delights in you, and your land shall be married.
5 Tongpang loh oila a yuunah bangla, na ca rhoek loh nang n'yuunah ni. Te vaengah vasa nu soah yulo pa kah a omthennah bangla na Pathen khaw nang soah ngaingaih ni.
For just as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons shall marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so your God will rejoice over you.
6 Jerusalem nang kah vongtung soah ka hip coeng. Khothaih khing, khoyin khing, aka tawt rhoek khaw ngam uh taitu mahpawh. BOEIPA aka thoelh nangmih ham khaw, dingsueknah om pawh.
I have set watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they shall never be silent, day or night. You who call on Jehovah, take no rest,
7 Jerusalem te a cikngae sak tih, diklai kah koehnah la a khueh duela, anih ham dingsueknah pae boeh.
and give him no rest until he establishes and until he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8 BOEIPA loh a bantang kut neh, a sarhi ban neh a toemngam coeng. Na cangpai te na thunkha kah a caak la, koep ka pae vetih na kohnue thil misur thai te kholong ca rhoek loh o lah ve.
Jehovah has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, "Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies; and foreigners shall not drink your new wine, for which you have labored:
9 Aka coi rhoek loh a caak uh vetih, BOEIPA te a thangthen uh ni. Aka coi rhoek long khaw, kamah kah hmuencim vongup ah a ok uh ni.
but those who have garnered it shall eat it, and praise Jehovah; and those who have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary."
10 Vongka rhoek paan rhoe paan uh laeh. Pilnam kah longpuei te rhoekbah uh. Picai uh, picai uh, longpuei kah lungto te dae uh laeh. Pilnam ham rholik thoh uh laeh.
Go through the gates, prepare the way of the people. Build up, build up the highway. Gather out the stones. Lift up a banner for the peoples.
11 BOEIPA loh diklai khobawt duela a yaak coeng ke. Zion nu te thui pah. Nang kah daemnah ha pawk coeng ke. A thapang khaw amah neh a thaphu neh a mikhmuh ah om coeng ke.
Look, Jehovah has proclaimed to the remotest part of earth, "Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Look, your salvation comes. Look, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.'"
12 Amih te BOEIPA kah a tlan pilnam cim la a khue uh ni. Nang te khaw a toem tih a hnoo voel pawh khopuei a ti ni.
They shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah: and you shall be called Sought out, A city not forsaken.
