Isaiah 6

And it came to pass in the year in which king Ozias died, [that] I saw the Lord sitting on a high and exalted throne, and the house was full of his glory.
2 Anih te a soah Seraph rhoek loh a pai thil. Seraph te khat ben ah a phae parhuk, khat ben ah a phae parhuk om tih, panit neh a maelhmai a khuk, panit neh a kho a dah tih panit neh ding.
And seraphs stood round about him: each one had six wings: and with two they covered [their] face, and with two they covered [their] feet, and with two they flew.
3 Te phoeiah he lamkah neh tekah te a khue tih, “Caempuei BOEIPA kah a cim, a cim, a cim, a thangpomnah loh diklai pum ah khawk,” a ti.
And one cried to the other, and they said, Holy, holy, holy [is the] Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
4 A khue ol ah cingkhaa te dong khat phoek tih, a im ah hmaikhu baetawt.
And the lintel shook at the voice they uttered, and the house was filled with smoke.
5 Te vaengah, “Anunae kai aih he, ka hmuilai rhalawt neh hlang lamloh ka hmata. Pilnam hmuilai rhalawt lakli ah ka kho ka sak dae ka mik loh Caempuei manghai BOEIPA a hmuh,” ka ti.
And I said, Woe is me, for I am pricked to the heart; for being a man, and having unclean lips, I dwell in the midst of a people having unclean lips; and I have seen with mine eyes the King, the Lord of hosts.
6 Te vaengah Serap taeng lamkah paktat te kai taengla ha ding tih a kut dongkah paitaeh neh hmueihtuk dong lamkah hmaitak a loh.
And there was sent to me one of the seraphs, and he had in his hand a coal, which he had taken off the altar with the tongs:
7 Te phoeiah ka ka te hang kolh tih, “Na hmuilai te a kolh coeng he ne. Nang kathaesainah te a khoe tih, na tholhnah khaw a dawth coeng,” a ti.
and he touched my mouth, and said, Behold, this has touched thy lips, and will take away thine iniquities, and will purge off thy sins.
8 Te phoeiah ka Boeipa ol te ka yaak tih, “Ulae ka tueih vetih mamih ham ulae aka cet eh?,” a ti. Te dongah, “Kai kamah he n'tueih,” ka ti nah.
And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go to this people? And I said, behold, I am [here], send me. And he said, Go, and say to this people,
9 Te phoeiah, “Cet lamtah pilnam te thui pah, a yaak tah na yaak uh dae na yakming uh pawh. Na hmuh tah na hmuh uh dae na hmat uh pawh.
Ye shall hear indeed, but ye shall not understand; and ye shall see indeed, but ye shall not perceive.
10 Pilnam lungbuei mawt he, a hna bing tih a mik a buem. A mik neh hmuh tih a hna neh ya lah ve. A thinko loh a yakming tih mael koinih amah te hoeih uh sue,” a ti.
For the heart of this people has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
11 Te dongah, “Aw Boeipa, me hil nim?,” ka ti nah. Te vaengah, “Khopuei rhoek te sop uh tih khosa a om pawt duela, im te hlang om pawt vetih khohmuen khaw khopong la a pong hil.
And I said, How long, O Lord? And he said, Until cities be deserted by reason of their not being inhabited, and the houses by reason of there being no men, and the land shall be left desolate.
12 BOEIPA loh hlang te a lakhla sak tih khohmuen laklo kah a hnoo mah yet coeng.
And after this God shall remove the men far off, and they that are left upon the land shall be multiplied.
13 A khuiah hlop rha hlop at om bal cakhaw a balang thil vetih rhokael bangla, thingnu thingbung dongah a alh bangla om ni. A ngo te a ngo cim kah tiingan la om ni,” a ti.
And yet there shall be a tenth upon it, and again it shall be for a spoil, as a turpentine tree, and as an acorn when it falls out of its husk.
