Isaiah 56
1 He ni BOEIPA loh a thui. Tiktamnah he ngaithuen lamtah duengnah te saii lah. Kai kah khangnah ha pawk ham neh ka duengnah a phoe hamla yoei coeng.
Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation [is] near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
2 Yoethen hlanghing long tah hekah he a saii tih hlang capa long khaw te te a pom. Sabbath aka tuem loh te te poeih vetih a kut aka ngaithuen loh boethae pakhat khaw saii ve ne.
Blessed [is] the man [that] doeth this, and the son of man [that] layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
3 BOEIPA taengah aka naep kholong ca loh, “BOEIPA loh kai tah a pilnam taeng lamloh m'boe khaw m'boe mai ni,” a ti ham khaw thui boel saeh. Imkhoem long khaw, “Kai tah thing koh ni he,” ti boel saeh.
Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I [am] a dry tree.
4 BOEIPA loh imkhoem taengah khaw he ni a thui. Kai kah Sabbath aka tuem rhoek neh kai ngaih la aka tuek rhoek long tah kai kah paipi te a pom uh.
For thus saith the LORD to the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose [the things] that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
5 Kai im khui neh ka vongtung khuikah ka kut te amih taengla ka paek ni. Ming then te capa rhoek lakah khaw canu rhoek kah lakah khaw kumhal ming la anih taengah ka paek vetih phae voel mahpawh.
Even to them will I give in my house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
6 BOEIPA taengah aka naep kholong ca rhoek tah amah aka bong la, BOEIPA ming aka lungnah ham neh amah taengah sal la, Sabbath aka poeih lamloh aka ngaithuen boeih neh ka paipi aka pom rhoek taengah tah,
Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
7 kamah kah hmuencim tlang la ka khuen vetih amih te ka thangthuinah im ah ko ka hoe sak ni. Amih kah hmueihhlutnah neh hmueih te ka hmueihtuk dongkah kolonah la om ni. Ka im te pilnam tom kah thangthuinah im la a khue ni.
Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices [shall be] accepted upon my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.
8 A heh tangtae Israel aka coi ka Boeipa Yahovah kah olphong dongah tah anih ka coi phoeiah anih taengla ka coi pueng ni.
The Lord GOD who gathereth the outcasts of Israel, Yet will I gather [others] to him, besides those that are gathered to him.
9 Khohmuen a mulhing boeih neh duup khuikah mulhing boeih caak hamla lo laeh oe.
All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yes, all ye beasts in the forest.
10 Anih aka tawt la aka tawt rhoek khaw amamih boeih a mikdael uh coeng tih amamih khaw boeih ming uh thae pawh. Ui olmueh rhoek loh a naak ham coeng pawh. Ihnga uh, yalh uh, mikku te a lungnah uh.
His watchmen [are] blind: they are all ignorant, they [are] all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Hinglu ui tlung rhoek te a cungnah a ming uh moenih. Amih aka dawn loh a pum la thuicaih ham ming uh pawh. A bawtnah ah hlang loh a longpuei te a mueluemnah la a hooi uh.
Yes, [they are] greedy dogs [which] can never have enough, and they [are] shepherds [that] cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
12 Lo laeh misur than sih lamtah yu khaw mii sih. Tahae khohnin kah bangla thangvuen ah a then la muep om khungdaeng bitni.
Come ye, [say they], I will bring wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to-morrow shall be as this day, [and] much more abundant.
