Isaiah 55
1 Anunae tui aka hal boeih loh tui taengla cet lah. A taengah tangka aka om pawt long khaw paan lah. Lai lamtah ca van. Cet lamtah misur neh suktui te tangka nen pawt akhaw a phu nen pawt akhaw lai lah.
Ho! every one that thirsteth! Come ye to the waters, Yea he that hath no money, —Come ye—buy corn, and eat, Yea come—buy corn without money, And without price, wine and milk,
2 Buh pawt mai ah tangka na thuek thil te ba ham nim? Na thaphu khaw na daeng a cungnah hae moenih. Kamah taengkah he hnatun, hnatun lamtah a then te ca uh. Na hinglu kah maehhloi nen khaw a pang a dok bitni.
Wherefore should ye spend, Money, for that which is not bread? Or your labour, for that which, satisfieth not? Keep on hearkening unto me, And, so eat that which is good, And let your soul take exquisite delight in fatness:
3 Na hna duen lamtah kai taengah pongpa lah. Ya van lamtah na hinglu te hing van saeh. David kah sitlohnah aka tangnah nangmih rhoek taengah kumhal paipi ka saii ni.
Incline your ear, and come unto me, Hearken, That your soul, may live, —That I may solemnise for you a covenant age-abiding, The Lovingkindness to David, well-assured.
4 Anih te namtu kah laipai rhaengsang neh namtu rhoek aka uen la ka khueh coeng he.
Lo! As a witness to the peoples, have I given him, —As a leader and commander to the peoples:
5 Namtom na ming pawt loh ng'khue vetih namtom na ming pawt khaw nang taengla ha yong uh pawn ni ke. BOEIPA na Pathen neh Israel kah a cim loh nang n'cam coeng.
Lo! A nation thou shalt not know, shalt thou call, And, a nation which hath not known thee, unto thee, shall run, —For the sake of Yahweh thy God, And for the Holy One of Israel, because he hath adorned thee.

Seek Yahweh while he may be found, —Call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Halang loh amah khosing, boethae hlang loh a kopoek te hnoo saeh lamtah BOEIPA taengla mael saeh. Mamih kah Pathen taengah tah khodawkngai ham a puh sak vetih, anih te a haidam bitni.
Let the lawless forsake his way, And the man of iniquity, his thoughts, —And let him return unto Yahweh That he may have compassion upon him, And unto our God, For he will abundantly pardon.
8 Ka kopoek he nangmih kopoek moenih, na khosing te ka khosing moenih. BOEIPA olphong ni.
For, my thoughts, are not, your thoughts, Nor, your ways, my ways, —Declareth Yahweh.
9 Vaan ke diklai lakah sang tih ka khosing khaw na khosing lakah sang tangloeng. Ka kopoek khaw nangmih kopoek lakah dung.
For, higher, are the heavens than the earth, —So, higher, are My ways than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
10 Vaan lamkah khonal neh vuelsong a suntlak phoeiah pahoi a mael moenih. Diklai te a sulpuem sak tih a cun phoeiah sul a duei sak. Te dongah lo aka tawn ham cangti neh caak ham buh a paek.
For, as the rain and the snow descend from the heavens. And thither, do not return, Except they have watered the earth. And caused it to bring forth and bud, —And given seed to the sower, and bread to the eater,
11 Ka ol aka om tangtae ka ka lamkah aka thoeng he kai taengah kuttling la ha mael mahpawh. Ka ngaih te a saii vetih ka tueih a thaihtak sak ni.
So, shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth, It shall not return unto me void, —But shall accomplish that which I please, And shall prosper in that whereunto I have sent it.
12 Kohoenah neh na hlah uh vetih ngaimongnah neh n'khuen bitni. Tlang neh som te na mikhmuh ah tamlung neh rhong uh ni. Khohmuen kah thing boeih khaw kut a paeng uh ni.
For with gladness shall ye come forth, And in peace, shall ye be led, —the mountains and the hills shall break out, before you, into shouts of triumph, And all the wild trees shall clap their hands:
13 Tangtii yueng la hmaical khawk ding vetih sakoeih hling yueng la cuihal thing khawk ding ni. BOEIPA ham kumhal miknoek la a ming om vetih phae voel mahpawh.
Instead of the thorn-bush, shall come up the fir-tree, And instead of the nettle, shall come up the myrtle-tree, —So shall it become unto Yahweh, a Name, A Sign age-abiding, which shall not be cut off.
