1 Te vaengah paeng tom ca rhoek he vangsawn tamna lamloh mael uh. Amih te Babylon manghai Nebukhanezar loh Babylon la a poelyoe coeng cakhaw hlang he tah amah khopuei Jerusalem neh Judah la mael uh.
And these [are] sons of the province who are going up—of the captives of the expulsion that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed to Babylon, and they return to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his city—
2 Amih te Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordekai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah neh aka mael Israel pilnam hlang kah hlangmi ni.
who have come in with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

sons of Parosh, two thousand one hundred seventy-two;

sons of Arah, seven hundred seventy-five;

sons of Pahath-Moab, of the sons of Jeshua [and] Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve;

sons of Nebo, fifty-two;
30 Magabish koca rhoek te ya sawmnga parhuk.

The singers: sons of Asaph, one hundred twenty-eight.
42 Thoh tawt koca la, Shallum koca, Ater koca, Talmon koca, Akkub koca, Hatita koca, Shobai koca neh a pum la ya sawmthum pako.

58 Tamtaeng boeih neh Solomon kah sal ca rhoek te ya thum sawmko panit lo.
All the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon [are] three hundred ninety-two.
59 Telmelah lamkah aka thoeng rhoek he Telharsa, Kherub, Addon, Immer. Tedae a napa imkhui ah puen ham a coeng uh moenih. Amih kah tiingan khaw amah Israel lamkah dae maco.
And these [are] those going up from Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsa, Cherub, Addan, Immer, and they have not been able to declare the house of their fathers, and their seed, whether they [are] of Israel:
60 Delaiah koca, Tobiah koca, Nekoda koca he ya rhuk sawmnga panit lo.
sons of Delaiah, sons of Tobiah, sons of Nekoda, six hundred fifty-two.
61 Khosoih koca lamloh Hobaiah koca, Koz koca, Barzillai koca. A yuu Giladi Barzillai nu rhoek te a loh hatah amih ming la a khue.
And of the sons of the priests: sons of Habaiah, sons of Koz, sons of Barzillai (who took a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and is called by their name);
62 amamih kah ca neh a khuui a toem uh dae a hmuh uh pawt rhoek te khosoihbi lamkah khaw coom coeng.
these have sought their register among those reckoning themselves by genealogy, and they have not been found, and they are redeemed from the priesthood,
63 Te dongah khosoih khaw Urim Thummim neh a pai hlan hil hmuencim neh hmuencim lamkah te a caak pawt hamla amih te tongmang boei loh a uen.
and the Tirshatha says to them that they do not eat of the most holy things until the standing up of a priest with [the] Lights and with [the] Perfections.
64 Hlangping boeih he thikat la thawng sawmli thawng hnih ya thum sawmrhuk lo.
All the assembly together [is] forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,
65 Te lamloh, amih salpa neh sal huta rhoek he khaw thawng rhih ya thum sawmthum parhih lo. Amih taengkah laa sa tongpa neh laa sa huta rhoek he yahnih lo.
apart from their servants and their handmaids; these [are] seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven: and of them [are] two hundred male and female singers.
66 Amih kah marhang te ya rhih sawmthum parhuk, muli-marhang te yahnih sawmli panga.
Their horses [are] seven hundred thirty-six, their mules, two hundred forty-five,
67 A kalauk te ya li sawmthum panga, laak te thawng rhuk ya rhih neh pakul lo.
their camels, four hundred thirty-five, donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
68 A napa boeilu rhoek lamkah khaw Jerusalem kah BOEIPA im la a pawk uh vaengah tah Pathen im te amah hmuen ah thoh hamla a puhlu uh.
And some of the heads of the fathers in their coming to the house of YHWH that [is] in Jerusalem, have offered willingly for the house of God, to establish it on its base;
69 Amamih kah thadueng bangla bitat kah thakvoh khuiah a sang uh. Te dongah sui tangkathi thawng sawmrhuk thawngkhat lo. Cak khaw mina thawng nga neh khosoih angkidung yakhat lo.
according to their power they have given to the treasure of the work; of gold, sixty-one thousand drams, and of silver, five thousand pounds, and of priests’ coats, one hundred.
70 Te tlam te khosoih neh Levi khaw, pilnam lamkah long khaw, laa sa neh thoh tawt khaw, tamtaeng rhoek khaw amamih khopuei ah, Israel pum lohamamih khopuei ah kho a sak uh.
And the priests dwell, and the Levites, and of the people, and the singers, and the gatekeepers, and the Nethinim, in their cities; even all Israel in their cities.
