Ezekiel 36
1 Nang hlang capa loh Israel tlang te tonghma thil laeh lamtah Israel tlang te, 'BOEIPA ol hnatun,’ ti nah.
Also, thou son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say: Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of Jehovah.
2 Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a thui. Na thunkha loh, 'Khuih ka khosuen hmuensang rhoek khaw kaimih ham khoh la om coeng,’ a ti lah ko.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the enemy hath said concerning you, “Aha! the everlasting heights have become our possession”;
3 Te dongah tonghma lamtah ka Boeipa Yahovah loh a thui he thui laeh. Na pong ham neh kaepvai lamloh nangmih te hloem ham om coeng. Namtom kah a meet ham khoh na om ni. Pilnam kah ol neh theetnah kamhloei ah ni na pongpa coeng.
therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because, yea, because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, so that ye have become a possession to the residue of the nations, and a subject for the lips of talkers, and a derision to the people;
4 Te dongah Israel tlang rhoek ka Boeipa Yahovah ol he hnatun uh. Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh tlang taeng neh som taengah, sokca taeng neh kolrhawk taengah, imrhong aka pong ham neh khopuei a hnoo taengah he ni a thui. A kaepvai kah namtom a meet kah maeh neh tamdaengnah ham ni a om uh.
therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah. Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, to the mountains and the hills, the valleys and the plain, to the desolate wastes and to the forsaken cities, which are become a prey and a derision to the residue of the nations which are round about, —

therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, who have allotted my land to themselves for a possession, with joy of their whole heart, and with a despiteful mind, to cast it out for a prey.
6 Te dongah Israel khohmuen te tonghma thil lamtah tlang taeng neh som taengah khaw, sokca taeng neh kolrhawk taengah thui pah. Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a thui. Namtom taengkah mingthae na phueih dongah ni kai loh ka thatlainah neh, ka kosi neh ka thui.
Prophesy, therefore, concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the valleys and the plains, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the reproach of the nations.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I have lifted up my hand, that the nations that are round about you, that they shall bear their reproach.
8 Tedae nang Israel tlang tah na pae na voeih vetih ka pilnam Israel ham ha pawk tom coeng dongah na thaih khaw thai ni.
But ye, O mountains of Israel, shall shoot forth your branches, and bear your fruit for my people Israel; for they are near coming.
9 Kai he nangmih taengkah coeng dongah, nang taengla ka hooi vaengah n'thohtat thil uh vetih n'tawn uh ni.
For behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and ye shall be tilled and sown;
10 Israel imkhui tom kah hlang te a pum la nangmih soah ka pung sak vetih khosa rhoek loh khopuei neh imrhong te a thoh uh.
and I will multiply men upon you, even all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built.
11 Nangmih soah hlang neh rhamsa khaw ka ping sak vetih a ping uh neh pungtai uh ni. Nangmih te namah hmuen la kho kan sak sak vetih nangmih te a tongnah lakah kan hoeikhang sak ni. Te vaengah kai he BOEIPA la nan ming uh bitni.
I will multiply men upon you, and beasts; and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited as of old, and will do better to you than in the ancient time; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
12 Nangmih soah ka pilnam Israel hlang te ka pongpa sak vetih nang m'pang uh ni. Amih taengah rho la na om vetih amih cakol te koep na koei mahpawh.
Yea, I will cause men, even my people Israel, to walk upon you, and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of children.
13 Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a thui. Nangmih te hlang aka yoop na ti uh dongah na namtu khuiah namtu cakol la na om uh.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because they say of you, “Thou hast devoured men, and made thy people childless!”
14 Te dongah hlang loh n'yoop voel mahpawh. Namtom neh na namtu taengah na cakol rhoe na cakol voel mahpawh. He tah ka Boeipa Yahovah kah olphong ni.
therefore thou shalt devour men no more, and no more make thy people childless, saith the Lord Jehovah.
15 Namtom taengkah na mingthae te kan yaak sak voel pawt vetih pilnam kah kokhahnah na phuei voel mahpawh. Namtom neh na namtu m'paloe sak voel mahpawh. He tah Boeipa Yahovah kah olphong ni,” a ti.
Neither will I cause the reproach of the nations to be heard against thee any more, neither shalt thou bear the derision of the nations any more, neither shalt thou make thy nation childless any more, saith the lord Jehovah.
16 BOEIPA ol te kai taengla ha pawk bal tih,
Moreover, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
17 “Hlang capa aw, amih khohmuen kah khosa Israel imkhui neh amih khosing, amih kah khoboe rhamlang nen ni khohmuen a poeih uh. Amih kah longpuei te ka mikhmuh ah pumom kah a tihnai bangla om.
Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings; their way before me was as the impurity of an unclean woman.
18 Khohmuen ah thii a long sak uh tih a mueirhol neh a poeih uh dongah ni amih soah ka kosi ka hawk van.
Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood which they had shed in the land, and because they had polluted it with their idols.
19 Amih te namtom taengah ka taek ka yak tih diklai ah haeh uh. A longpuei tarhing neh a khoboe rhamlang bangla amih te lai ka tloek.
And I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries; according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
20 Tedae namtom te a paan tih pahoi ha pawk uh te khaw ka ming cim ni a poeih. Amih te BOEIPA kah pilnam a ti ngawn dae a khohmuen lamloh coe uh.
And when they came to the nations whither they went, they polluted my holy name, in that it was said of them, “These are the people of Jehovah, and they are gone forth out of his land.”
21 Te dongah ka cimcaihnah ming dongah ka lungma coeng. Te te a poeih uh dongah ni Israel imkhui khaw namtom taengla pahoi a pawk uh te.
Therefore I will have regard to my holy name, which the house of Israel have polluted among the nations whither they are gone.
22 Te dongah ka Boeipa Yahovah loh a thui he Israel imkhui taengah thui pah. Israel imkhui ka saii te nangmih ham moenih. Tedae pahoi na caeh nah ah ka cimcaihnah ming te namtom taengah na poeih dongah ni.
Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Not for your own sakes do I this, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which ye have polluted among the nations whither ye are gone.
23 Namtom taengkah a poeih ka ming tanglue te ka ciim ni. Te te amih lakli ah na poeih cakhaw namtom loh kai he Yahweh ni tila a ming uh bitni. He tah ka Boeipa Yahovah kah olphong ni. Nangmih rhangneh amih mikhmuh ah ka ciim uh ni.
And I will sanctify my great name, which hath been polluted among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall be sanctified in regard to you, before their eyes, saith the Lord Jehovah.
24 Nangmih te namtom lamloh kan loh vetih nangmih te diklai pum lamloh kan coi ni. Te vaengah nangmih te namah khohmuen la kan thak ni.
For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.
25 Nangmih soah tui cil kang haeh vetih na tihnai cungkuem lamloh caihcil uh ni. Nangmih te na mueirhol cungkuem lamloh kan caihcil sak ni.
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean. From all your uncleanness and from all your idols will I cleanse you.
26 nangmih te lungbuei thai kan paek vetih na khui ah mueihla thai ka khueh phoeiah nangmih pumsa kah lungto lungbuei te ka khoe vetih ngansen lungbuei te nangmih kan paek ni.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take out of your body the heart of stone, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
27 Ka mueihla te na kotak ah kam paek ni. Te te ka saii vaengah ka oltlueh neh na pongpa uh vetih ka laitloeknah te ngaithuen neh na vai uh bitni.
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my commandments and do them.
28 Na pa rhoek taengah ka paek khohmuen ah kho na sak uh ni. Kamah taengah pilnam la na om uh vetih kai khaw nangmih taengah Pathen la ka om ni.
And ye shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers, and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29 Nangmih te na tihnai cungkuem lamloh kang khang vetih cangpai la kang khue ni. Te te kang kum sak bal vetih nangmih soah khokha kang khueh mahpawh.
And I will save you from all your uncleanness. And I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and bring no famine upon you.
30 Thing thaih neh khohmuen thaih te ka thawt sak ni. Te daengah ni khokha kah kokhahnah loh namtom taengah koep n'loh uh pawt eh.
And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
31 Te vaengah na boethae longpuei neh na khoboe aka then pawt te na poek ni. Nangmih kathaesainah neh nangmih tueilaehkoi dongah namamih mikhmuh ah te na ko-oek uh ni.
Then shall ye remember your evil ways, and your doings which were not good, and ye shall loathe yourselves for your iniquities, and for your abominations.
32 Nangmih ham ka saii hlan. He tah ka Boeipa Yahovah kah olphong ni. Nangmih te m'ming kuekluek saeh. Israel imkhui aw na longpbuei ah yahpok neh hmaithae sak laeh.
Not for your own sakes do I this, saith the Lord Jehovah, be it known to you. Be ye ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel!
33 Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a thui. Nangmih te na thaesainah cungkuem lamloh kan caihcil khohnin ah tah khopuei te kho kan sak sak vetih imrhong te a thoh uh ni.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the day when I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities, then will I cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places to be rebuilt;
34 Khohmuen aka pong tih aka pah tom kah mikhmuh ah khopong la aka om te lat a tawn ni.
and the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
35 Te vaengah, “Khohmuen aka pong he Eden dum bangla om. Khopuei rhoek tah kaksap coeng tih pong coeng. A koengloeng rhoek loh cakrhuet la kho a sak uh,” a ti uh ni.
Then shall it be said, “This land, that was desolate, is become as the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.”
36 Te vaengah kai BOEIPA loh a koengloeng tangtae khaw ka thoh tih aka pong khaw ka tawn te na kaepvai kah aka sueng namtom loh a ming ni. Kai BOEIPA loh ka thui bangla ka saii ni.
Then the nations that are left around you shall know that I, Jehovah, have built that which was ruined, and planted that which was desolate. I, Jehovah, have spoken it, and I will do it.
37 Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a thui. Amih kah saii pah ham te Israel imkhui he koep ka toem ni vetih amih te hlang tuping bangla ka ping sak ni.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Yet will I listen to the house of Israel, and do this for them. I will increase
38 A khoning vaengah hmuencim kah boiva tah Jerusalem boiva bangla om ni. Hlang kah boiva aka bae khopuei rhoek he a kaksap la om vetih kai he BOEIPA tila a ming uh ni.
them with men like a flock; as the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
